I've always enjoyed the food and the marina sauce is so good. Today though I tried to call in a togo order. I only got through once, and was instantly put on hold during which I could hear another order being placed. I patiently waited to for my order to be taken but was hung up on by DP dough. I tried to call again three times always getting to the voice mail. This has never happened to me before but I was very displeased with the service. I am just reminiscing away here on Yelp! Man, just remembered this place from when my husband went to school at Colorado State in Fort Collins, CO. He took me here when I came to visit him and I just remember those calzones being the best thing I could have eaten! They have like a million kinds to choose from and any kind that we ever had was absolutely delicious! This place is so great! I can't get enough of their calzones! I always get their Drop Zone, which has cheese, breaded chicken, pepperoni, and more cheese. With the marinara dipping sauce, it's like heaven. If none of the many choices of calzones appeals to you, you can always build your own. Their cookies are amazingggg. They are so soft and chewy. I like getting their oatmeal raisin. I like how they do free delivery. They do take a long time to get it to you, so don't expect quick service. They say they will get it to you in 45 minutes, but it usually takes at least an hour or longer. DP Dough is more for take out. There isn't much sitting room inside. The long wait time also pertains when you are ordering in store, so I recommend calling ahead. They have lots of coupons around town, so it's not hard to find it. Most of the coupon books at CSU campus has deals for DP Dough. Overall, I love this place. The wait time is pretty long, but definitely worth it. read more

Great calzones. We ordered two for delivery and were told they'd arrive in 45-1 hour. They were actually at our door in 25 minutes!! I had a pesto calzone, and my sister had a Roni Zoni. They were big enough that we saved half for the next day's lunch. Two calzones for 12 bucks is a good deal, and we will definitely be ordering again to try some of the other 40 types of calzones! read more

I have ordered DP Dough twice. The first time the food was fantastic, but my friend's order was never delivered and, when she called, they said that they never printed out the ticket so the order was never made and that there was nothing they could do about it but deliver it the next day. I ordered some stix the second time. They took an hour to get to me and they were extremely undercooked. I know dough is in the name, but my stix were barely cooked and almost completely raw dough. I love DP Dough. It caters to my every need. Open late, delicious calzones, and giant baked cookies. The calzones are pretty big and they are cheap!!! They have a big menu, but it's divided into sections by protein so it's easy to understand. The wait for your food isn't too long, it's totally worth it though. Really disappointed - came home last night from the bars w/ my friends and all we wanted were some calzones. Called DP dough and ordered. 65 minutes later called again to check on the food and were told that "we've got lots of calzones in the process right now - yours should be on the way." Called back after another 45 minutes and the gal told us that they'd been calling us and left a VM for us, but no one was responding. No calls had occurred, and no one had knocked at the door in that entire time. I realize it was late, but com'n - didn't even get us the food in the end. I LOVE DPdough's. Especially being on a college budget. However, the menu online is WAY off. When I'm ordering for more than one person, I like to show everyone the menu so I can know exactly what I need to order, however my DPDoughs in Greeley doesn't have any of the sides (apart from cookies), and carries different drink products than the menu does. They also do not carry as many of the calzones as the menu says, same with all the specials listed. Please fix your online menu!! Other than that don't change anything :) love your calzones!! read more

My wife and I moved down to Denver about 5 years ago - One of the biggest places I miss about the Fort is DP Dough. We used to order a hawaiian calzone and a pepperoni calzone via delivery and it was awesome. The perfect way to end the night of drinking or to cure a hangover. Some how DP dough was able to delete my old review. So here it goes again: Their food is mostly always good, sometimes too greasy or cold, but their customer service ALWAYS sucks! The people that work there act like they are being forced to endure the customers idiocy and that they have some terribly obnoxious obligation by making your food and delivering it. I'm sorry, but no matter how good your food is, doesn't make it okay to be rude to your customers, and I won't keep ordering food from your establishment. Good food and for a good price. I should really venture out into eating more menu items though instead of always getting the buffer. And don't forget to do their little "hook it up" which they thrown on some parmesan garlic or whatever on the top of the calzone. I usually like D.P. Dough a lot. That being said, I had one of the worst delivery experiences of my life tonight. I put in an order online at 1:23 AM hoping my food would arrive shortly after 2 AM. When my food hadn't come by 2:43 AM I got worried because they were about to close. At that point I called the store to see if my order was still coming. I was put on hold for about 2 minutes, and then when someone finally picked up they told me my order was on the road and it should be here shortly. at 3:23 AM I called the store again and they informed me that their online ordering should have been shut down and I should call the customer service and get my money back. I never received my food and frankly everyone there was rude. I used to order from this place at least twice a month, but they've lost my business for now. read more

OComing from New York my expectations are high. I think if your going to pay for multiple calzones they should at least have cheese. This was a doughy disappointment at best. The pesto bread was ok. best cal zones in town they have tons of options and you can even build your own! plus of only $6 a zone you cant go wrong. they deliver till 3am i believe and thats really convenient for those drunken nights. sometimes it takes a while for your zones to get to your house but its usually less than an hour. they also have some delicious chocolate chip cookies there that are always fresh and soft! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more
