Walking into a popcorn store throws off the vibe. Odd atmosphere. Was expecting a nice quiet Valentines Dinner. 11 tables with 3 large tables and 80's rock bands music playing. There was even tables in the popcorn store. Curtains separated the restaurant and the popcorn store. Hostess parts the curtain to let you in. Weird!! Vacuum cleaner and broom in the corner by the front door. Not a fan or the atmosphere. Food was excellent! Server was great and everything came out perfectly cooked and quick. Started with crab cakes, excellent!! I ordered mushroom and spinach risotto and had scallops put on top. Wow! Delicious! The bread and dipping oil were also wonderful. My husband had a strip steak with rosemary butter and whipped potatoes with chives and cheddar cheese. He also thought the food was perfect! Will we go back? Hmmm? Probably, but next time we will know not to dress up and what the atmosphere will be like. read more

Meeting friends for dinner who had never been to this restaurant. Called a day in advance for the reservation, spoke to Marc. Arrived at the restaurant before our reservation time, the young girl at the front could not find the reservation. My friend who made the reservation showed them on her phone where she had made the reservation, even called Marc who admittedly forgot to write down the reservation. In the meantime her husband went to the bar to get a bottle of wine so we could have a drink while we waited for a remedy. The girl at the front was very distraught, not only with our situation but with anyone who presented after us. She was unable to organize, nervously laughing and making excuses. My friend intervened and suggested she seek out some assistance. A waitress came out and quickly handled the clients whose reservations had not been lost and seated the people. The young lade is not a good first representation for a restaurant. We were seated in about 30 minutes, understanding that people make mistakes, we ordered our drinks, appetizers and our meals all at one time. After an hour wait: no drinks had arrived at our table, our appetizers just came out with no plates or silverware. The group of 4 behind us were seated long before we were, they got their food without any drinks, the group of six who were seated long after got their drinks. We were later told the bartender called off and the waitress at our side was doing double duty. However there was no organization or sense of urgency. My friend asked to speak to a manager, supervisor or the owner to which we were told there was none. The food line lead came out and spoke to us but there was no recovery solution. Been looking forward to visit, made reservations a month ago. Got there and they could not find reservations... then after they found it, and 5 minutes deciding where to seat us, we were told only have space on 2 person hi-top, not a regular table. Obviously did not stay... No way I am spending north of $200 for that kind of experience. Extremely disappointed! read more

A friend and I stopped in to check out this fairly new place for our birthdays. We were incredibly underwhelmed; the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming along with uncomfortable metal chairs. Everything had an open layout that had no privacy to the dining area. But atmosphere isn't everything and we hoped the food would overcome that. We got the crab dip as an appetizer and in the menu it says its spicy so be careful... but the only real seasoning in the entire dish was on the chips. The seasoning was great kind of like tajin and lime. The chips were fried in house but the seasoning wasn't evenly distributed so one chip would be plain and another would be overwhelming with spices. The dip itself was cheesy but didn't have much flavor, and I wasn't convinced the crab was fresh like it said in the menu. But alas appetizers aren't everything so we ordered dinner. I ordered the mushroom risotto with scallops and my friend got the snow crab dinner. My dish came out as one glob of risotto with mushrooms thrown on top and scallops around the edge that seeped so much extra liquid the edge of the bowl had liquid sitting on top of the risotto around the entire edge. It seemed like all of the risotto is the same they just top it with some ingredient like mushrooms or bacon. But the worst part of the entire evening was my friends crab legs, they came out cold so she sent them back. When she brought them back out again and they were still cold, and she was stunned because she told us the chef temped the crab legs at 127 degrees. I was stunned right back when she said that! I told her that isn't hot enough for seafood; it has to be minimum 145 degrees. That was it for us I told her we just wouldn't be finishing the meal. The server told us she would be happy to take my friends meal off for us. She made us feel like she was doing us a favor for taking it off the bill even though neither of us could eat our meals. I was just all around turned off by the entire experience. I waited a few weeks to write this review but recently saw they are doing seafood specials and I just wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. But you know what... the table bread wasn't bad especially if you dipped it in the bland crab dip. read more

My husband and I went out to dinner here on a Tuesday evening we had a terrible dinner, over cooked and not the best service. Husband had breaded chicken it was dry and over done. My burger was dry and fries were cold. By the time they brought ketchup to the table I could not eat them. Never again read more

Probably the best steaks around. Good service and casual atmosphere. Would recommend the filet or ribeye.

The guitarist was great! However, I felt like I was sitting in a cafeteria with very harsh lighting and big screen televisions everywhere. For the prices of the entrees, appetizers, etc. I think the ambiance should be more comfortable and inviting. The food was quite salty. had a reservation for 7:15 .. received confirmation txt (ended up calling manager that texted me & he said he didn't care literally & did nothing for me except keep texting me from his personal phone arguing with me which was super unorthodox & inappropriate ) & when i arrive hostess is noticeably annoyed because the guy in front of me said he had a reservation but wasn't in system so she won't look at me .. she told him "this happens all the time" & she said some more complaints about her management & she then ignored me for 5-10 minutes & after ignoring me (she never even looked at me to give me a "be right with you" ) then i said "am i just gonna have to stand here & be ignored all night" to which she responded "yea pretty much" THE WHOLE VIBE IN THERE IS TRASH from the rude hostess to the nom nom inside THEY ARE SELLING POPCORN inside a steakhouse right NEXT TO 80 dollar steaks ! two thumbs down!! bad vibes & RUDE ppl & HORRIBLE management!! manager will text ur personal phone from his & argue with u even tho the customer clearly was wronged... Came here to say the only 2 other reviews on here almost deterred my family from going tonight so I wanted to make sure they had an updated review! It can take a minute after opening to work out all the details and find a good staff and get things right so we decided to give them a try anyways. Plus, we had heard good things from friends who have gone. I'm so glad we didn't pass on it! The service was awesome, the food came out in perfect order and a very timely fashion (much quicker than the chain steak restaurants around) and the food was amazing! It can get a little pricey with everything priced separately but it's well worth it! The salads are a good size, bread and oil/balsamic dip is automatically brought out for you, they have a kids menu and it's not a la carte. Our steaks were one of the best steaks we've had in a long time! Seasoned and cooked perfectly! Lastly, I wanted to make a comment on the atmosphere and set up of the place because I didn't find it that strange, it is a smaller space and is connected with nom nom but I thought it flowed just fine and it had a casual, laid back feel to it. Hands down 2nd to my wife was the best meat I've had till date. I am 46 and I have had many steaks in my life. But none like the filet mignon medium well with garlic butter cooked perfectly. Mouth watering tongue dancing taste and so tender awww. Had to call the owner over to our table before departing and explain to him I was mad. I had one piece of steak left on my plate I told him you see this and pointed at it. He said what is that all they brought you out and giggled and asked if thats why I was mad. I said no I'm mad because thats my last bite of the most delicious steak I ever had and once I take that bite its over brought a tear to my eye I will have none left. He then laughed and said I can have another one on your plate in no time. I passed but will definitely be a future on going customer.
