Tried the kung pao shrimp as I'm on a special diet now and it was really good ambience was also nice prices are a little high but dishes are large so it works well I will definitely be trying other dishes here they also have a great menu of drinks as well and a nice bar if your in town give it a try read more

Service was alright. They weren't busy at all. They had plenty of servers so forgetting anything and making any mistakes like forgetting place mats and menus wasn't good service so far. The number one reason for this review was for the food. It made me sick! I had to rush home and make it to the bathroom before going in my pants. It reminded me of preheated food. Way to much sauce it over whelms the food and soaks up everything.Everyone working is very nice but that's not what will bring me back. I don't know why it took us so long to check this place out. It is our number one fav in Fernley. Friendly and fast service and the food tastes so good. We especially love the sesame chicken! While the sweet and sour isn't the best I've ever tasted, it definitely is the best I have tasted in the last decade or so. Their chow mein is a staple and their Mongolian beef is so tender and flavorful. Food is salty. I ordered takeout and when I got there the lady said just 1 more minute, I waited 10 minutes and asked for an update she then said again 1 more minute. 20 minutes passed by and other customers have gotten their food before me and I asked the lady again and she said almost ready. I'm not sure why our food took so long as we only ordered 1 meal. Needless to say after the long wait it was not worth it. read more

Had lunch here. I ordered the lunch special of generals chicken. The food was good, starting with hot & sour soup and my entree. The general chicken had a sweetness but was good, with good portions and a reasonable price. Service was a good, overall good experience. read more

I have lived in Fernley for ten years. The restaurant that previously occupied this space was marginal at best. This restaurant opened about a year ago and I read some reviews here and on some local Fernley community facebook pages. There were plenty of negative comments regarding service and I don't usually take those to heart as everyone has different expectations of what they want their experience to be. Everyone has different tastes so I don't concern myself with who likes what dish or not. My poor review is mainly about my experience with their service. The food was ok - not special nor bad. Tasty and decent value for the price and the space it's served in. My displeasure is centered on the service. I went with my wife for a Friday night meal and while the order was taken quickly and our soup arrived almost instantly; for some reason one entree (a combo actually) came out and was placed in front of my wife's place. No big deal, as we ordered the same meal, and I understood a server has only two hands. The waitress said mine would be following in a moment. OKAY - we'll my meal arrived 15 minutes later and since my wife and I like to eat together: she waited with me and hers of course became cold. Finally my meal arrived - we said nothing - we ate (and as mentioned above, the food was good) and left. Upon paying at the counter I mentioned my disappointment about the service and advised "I'm Local" and that I won't return. The proprietor says "it's not the service; it's the chef". Upon which I cut her off and said "NO... it's all service". You don't put one meal out and have the other guest wait. What is that? We would have both preferred to wait and be served together. The restaurant was moderately full and we understand short staffs etc... throwing your chef under the bus is an interesting way to deflect that you screwed up serving a meal. I'm local and won't be back. Good luck to you. Maybe you'll get enough traffic from the exit on the interstate. My business you will never get again. read more

New place opening I'm told. The ambience is nice. I am out of town staying at a hotel so trying a new Chinese place is fun. Here are my thoughts. Service people were kind and apologetic for the wait. It took 25 minutes once seated to get a menu and drinks. It looked like they were very short staffed with large tables to serve. My order once taken were egg rolls, sizzling rice soup, bbq pork fried rice, and Mongolian beef. The egg rolls were delicious, nice and hot with cabbage and pork with crispy wrapping 10/10. Sizzling rice was a disappointment because the broth was bland almost flavorless. We doctored it up with soy sauce and the hot chili oil on the table. I would recommend flavoring the broth up with a much heavier hand. The sizzling rice was barley negligible in what I expected to be a rice soup 1/10. BBQ pork fried rice was very smoky (breath of wok) and oily but nothing else. It was a very large portion, over spilling the plate practically and we felt wasteful for not wanting to take it home. It needed salt I think 2/10. Mongolian beef was the main entree and we were happy that it was savory in taste, not sweet but the onion ratio to beef was 5/1. It was Mongolian onion with bits of beef. My husband no lie was "Where's the beef?!". This too was very oily as well and the beef very tender but I think there is a common theme of not enough seasoning. I think this entree bothered us because it was more expensive and we didn't want to eat a plate of onions 1/10. Our tab was 52 dollars and 20% tip because that's the right thing to do. I will be honest that this very well might be what this community likes in a Chinese restaurant but being from Vegas and Orange County Ca I just might have different standards. BOBA LOVERS REJOICE! Boba tea is delicious, though they have a small menu at the moment there are the classics : jasmine milk tea, thai tea, delicious and sweet and always hits the spot. No special boba yet, just the good ol' original tapioca boba. Took my pregnant friend here, now she makes her hubby drive from Fallon so she can have some boba Had lunch here also, ordered the seafood noodle soup, OH MY GOD they pan fried all the seafood before putting it into the soup- holy hell, so good and tasty and those noodles were thick and juicy. The broth was also exceptional! Husband had the lunch special that came with one entree a side (szechuan pork) rice and chow mein and an appetizer included for like $8.99! Our server was the sweetest and super attentive and friendly, I had to talk her out of boxing my leftovers for me girl was trying to do it all. We spent a total of $38, my soup was the most expensive thing at a $14 but so worth it and it fed me for dinner too. Worth it, will be coming often! read more

Just went here today. All we wanted to get was some Boba to go. stood there for about 10 minutes (they weren't busy) as they helped/ seated other customers that came in after us. Worst eggrolls I ever tasted. Freezer burned with rotten cabbage inside. Now I can't get that horrible taste out of my mouth. Yuck!
