My shower would not drain properly, and I thought maybe a snake job would be needed to help clear out anything that got stuck in the pipes. I have needed a drain cleaning every year since I moved into my place in 2005. I just assumed the pipes were old and needed periodic cleaning, so I wrote it off as routine maintenance. This time was different Though, and I didn't even see it coming. I called Drain Assist and he came out within a few hours on a holiday. He had the latest power flush system and digital camera with locator beacon. In no time, he had the back up drained. He then proceeded to sho me why I was having ongoing problem. Turns out having your drain clog annually is not the norm. He showed my were my old clay pipe had failed and was mis-aligned on the camera. He then pinpointed where the problem was on my property. He continued with this process showing me that I had an old original clean out near my front sidewalk and pinpointed the exact location. I had no idea there was one there, as it had been covered with dirt the whole time. He further showed me another broken spot in the old clay pipe that was on the cities side of that old clean out. It was draped with a mat of roots, which he blasted clear. Armed with this knowledge, I can pursue repairs now, because I was shown where my trouble spots are and I know how to remedy them. I have a regular problem with tree roots in my main sewer line (on my property). Most plumbers show up, snake the drain, take the check and run to the next job as fast as they can. Triue showed up with only a few hours notice, had me run some simple tests to verify that the problem wasn't inside the house footprint, then cleared out the line and ran a camera for me to pinpoint the *exact* intrusion point in my flimsy PVC sewer line. Great, professional experience from start to finish! Really bad plumbing issue, where sewage was coming up in both bathtubs. Really love the yelp feature where you can bid out the project to few folks. From the get go Trieu was highly responsive at 930pm last night, and transparent with the estimate and assessment. We had a clogged kitchen sink in our home, which happens roughly every year or so. Before, a plumber comes by and does the minimum to make it work again. Trieu, on the other hand, went above and beyond. He opened up the pipes, showed us exactly the problem, and worked hard to address it as completely as possible. Trieu is the best in the Business!!! Before our snow trip, I our water heater leak and I was in a panic because we might have to delay our trip or cancel in order to get it fixed. I called Trieu at 12am, yes 12 am and he still picks up the phone and was providing me directions and help me diagnose the problem. He told me he can come first thing tomorrow, get a new tank for me and install everything within 3hrs. The next day he showed up at 8am and went right to work. I noticed he didnt just swap out the tank, but instead changed my whole top water lines as they were corroded. Back in Dec 2020 Trieu helped unclog my drain which was causing my bathtub and toilet to back up. He even went few steps further to ensure things were ok by running the hydro jet not only thru the side clean out but also from the roof several times while bearing the rain drizzle that was coming down. He then followed it up with the camera snake to ensure smooth and clear flowing drain as well as go few steps further to discover tree stumps protruding into my drain in a couple spots further down the line as well as a portion where it dips. I had a back flow issue with the main pipe in my house. I contacted Drain Assist regarding the matter and had set up an appointment with Trieu. He came first thing in the morning with his professionally equipped van. At first Trieu believed the issue was something being caught in the main pipe so he brought his 50ft snake to see if he unclog the main pipe, but it did not solve the issue. The next thing Trieu did was hydro jet the clean out and that resolved the issue. There was no more back flow and everything flowed smoothly. I would highly recommend Trieu to anyone, he will give you a little education on how the plumbing system works in your house so you can prevent future clogging. Overall, Trieu keeps a clean workspace and is swift on the job. Also he will discuss pricing with you before the job is performed so you know what you will be paying.
