The 1/2 lb burgers are huge and you get a ton of taters tots on the side. The secret here, though, are the chicken sliders! The chicken and swiss cheese slider is absolutely phenomenal, it's exactly what I crave. I wanted the pizza slider also, but they were out of pepperoni. I would definitely get the sliders again, along with a burger. 2 burgers and 4 sliders with one soda for 2 adults + 1 kid was about $50, which is pretty expensive BUT we did not leave hungry (very important!). So the one caveat is that the place is small and if they get busy you are going to have to wait a while for your food. We waited 45 minutes at our table! There is one cook and one server, the vibe is VERY mom 'n pop, and they work their butts off but it can result in very slow service. Also thought it was weird that every kid at other tables got a coloring kit, but ours didn't. Also never got a soda refill. Chalk it up to so busy the waitress didn't notice. Not even gonna dock a star for that, this place deserves all its success.

I love their proximity to JL Patisserie because I can grab a meal and dessert in one stop! I ended up getting coconut shrimp, because theirs is the best. To a balance out the fried, I ordered a mahi mahi seafood salad with mango dressing. This was the best salad I've had in a long time and just hit the spot. Place is cute and tucked away. Good if you want to eat in, but I prefer takeout. I noticed they added a Baja fish taco which sounds amazing, maybe next time.

I'm mourning the loss of what used to be not only AZ's best fish tacos and freshest poke, but also their S tier fries. Reading some of the reviews I thought it was just a change in name only. Unfortunately the recipes and food quality has changed as well. When I first moved here from Hawaii, I was resigned to the fact the most restaurants in AZ just didn't have the capacity to serve seafood as great as the islands. That was until I visited Coconuts at the old FLW and Scottsdale location. I continued to eat there as well as their new Shea location and also the location on Mayo, always eating consistently great fish tacos and poke. I would bring friends and family there who also enjoyed the fresh ingredients that reminded them of home. Surprisingly the fries on the side were also a standout but now the recipe changed and now taste just like every other takeout restaurant which is a shame. I know a lot of Hawaiian restaurants with fish tacos and poke have opened up in the area in the last few years, but Coconuts was always my go to for fresh fish and tacos and even their fries. I can't say the same about Maui fish tacos and will have to find somewhere else. On the plus side, the servers were excellent and friendly and they rightfully deserve some praise.

We recently asked our friendly butchers to introduce us to something we hadn't previously tried…read morehere. I grew up rurally and had never eaten pork chops bought from a store until moving away. Same with ribs. My father, a Journeyman electrician had friends who farmed and sold their own pork. None better! Rusty Nail's pork chops, especially their porterhouse cuts, are even better than the ones I recall so fondly from my youth. Tender, perfectly marbled and flavorful like none other. They're not "grocery store" cuts. We also bought a rack of baby back ribs. My least favorite step in smoking them is removing their membrane. Not only was this (attention to detail!) step already completed, they were fall-off-the-bone highest quality. So good! Unlike when I was young these chops can be grilled to medium or medium-well if preferred, preserving their juices and maximizing flavor. These too are now on our dinner favorites rotation. Simple seasoning with salt and pepper is all that's needed, although next time we're trying their seasonings. We will continue shopping here regularly. We've referred every friend who enjoys value and great meals too--in other words we have suggested to everyone we know to give these great people (and local ownership!) a try. Without fail our friends are truly grateful.

Very helpful and friendly employees 4. The loaded and twice baked potatoes when they don't have much pepper (just a personal preference). Just reheat slowly in foil until soft and melty. Trust me. They are delicious. If you want one with less pepper just choose one with less black specks. 4. Amazing price when they have a sale. For their anniversary they had 10 pounds of prime beef (their choice) for $110! Phenomenal price and great cuts were in my mystery box. Cons 1. Save your receipts just in case you need to return something. I bought two whole chickens that ended up smelling off/bad (rare instance that this happened here). I was able to return them because I luckily still had the receipt. Wouldn't have been able to return nor exchange without the receipt.

There are tables inside the restaurant and outside of the restaurant. While it was hot outside (in the 90s) the shade and wind made it extremely comfortable to sit outside. The bakery itself was extremely cute and new bakery items were consistently being brought out and restocked. I came with my (extremely picky) mom and she really enjoyed Paris Rendez-Vous. We both got the Ham and Cheese Croissant to stay, it had bechemal sauce inside of the sandwhich adding a nice creaminess. The to stay dish does cost a few dollars more than the to go dish. This is because you are served and also it comes with a light salad with Italian dressing. The salad was a nice addition to the sandwhich, it added the perfect amount of freshness. My mom got an apricot cheese danish to go, and she wishes she would have grabbed 3 more, she is insistent that they are the best vanishes that she has ever had in Arizona...so I would recommend checking that out. Overall it was a nice and quiet brunch spot, that I would definitely classify as a hidden gem in Scottsdale. I recommend checking it out.
