UPDATE: I wanted to update this review based on my recent visit on 2/17/18. This time I went in for a full set with Dalena. I don't want to be the first to give a somewhat bad review, but I think this review is much needed. I went in for my appointment on Saturday for a classic full set but I was missing lashes and so Dalena advised getting volume instead as it will look fuller which was a no brainer and so I went with it. During the process, I noticed that I was tearing a lot more than usual and that my eyes were burning, but obviously I thought it was just the fumes really irritating my eyes that day. After I was done, I was basically trying to stop tearing so much because I didn't want to ruin my new set but that was a challenge. After that, I paid and left. The rest of the day passed by and the burning had stopped and my lashes looked amazing (3 stars for that). I woke up the next morning and my eyes were really sore when I blinked. I went to the bathroom and saw they were super red and not the entire eyes but only the lower halves. I grabbed some eye drops and they stung so bad. I texted Dreamality right away and they mentioned they used a string glue and maybe it was causing irritation. I know I wasn't allergic to the glue because I've been getting lashes for months and never had any irritation. I ended up visiting my doctor and they told me I basically had scratches on my eyeballs and they were only on the lower half. As for my daily routine, nothing was different except the extensions. She then told me they were likely caused by the eye pads rubbing inside the eyes. This whole situation could have been avoided if the pads were placed correctly and taped down better to not move. Anyways, I learnt my lesson to not assume it could be the fumes. They were nice enough to offer to remove some lashes as they thought maybe the lashes were irritating me but no. I kept then and my eyes recovered in 2 days. If your eyes are hurting the next day (not itchy), give it time to heal. It kinda looked like pink eye. read more

Lillian was so sweet and didn't judge me when I walked in with only a few lashes left on my right eye. (Embarrassing!!)
