If you are in the mood for bbq, I would recommend going somewhere else as Roswell has better options. I had placed a to go order a couple of weeks ago and when we got home, we realized they had given us the wrong food, so we had to take it back, very frustrating when you ordered to go for specific reasons. After contacting the manager, he offered us the same meal for free for us to give them another chance. Yesterday, we called the order in and when I went to pick it up, while I was waiting for it to be ready, I heard how the cashier and one of the cooks were talking about me. They were talking about me in Spanish since I had complained about my previous order (assuming I didn't speak the language, which they were wrong as it is my native language), needless to say I have never been so disrespected at a restaurant, NEVER! At this point it wasn't worth giving this restaurant another chance, reason why we decided to give them their food back and go somewhere else. I like their ribs and smokehouse salad. Reasonable price and good service however, I think they should do a little better job on sides.

My wife picked this place because they cater her office lunches occasionally and she's always loved the food. This was our first visit. I believe our server was named Fred. Excellent server with a great demeanor. Thanks to all the bad Yelp reviews I ordered only a burger and fries. My Dreamburger was fantastic. It was cooked perfectly and everything was super fresh. Next time I'll definitely get the ribs. Two in our party of four ordered full racks of ribs. What they received was a fantastic mountain of ribs that looked and tasted incredible. They raved over the ribs. Called them best ever Our fourth had the pulled pork platter. He was also a very happy patron. Something is very wrong with all the rotten Yelp ratings given to this establishment. I suspect foul play from competing BBQ restaurants. Well, I'm not from around here! My daughter's co-workers rave about the place so I said I'll spring for dinner. We don't eat a lot of sweet carbs so we already had plain sweet potatoes baking at home and a spinach salad. I ordered 2 slabs of ribs and a side of mac and cheese for the 5-yr-old. The way they cook the ribs they rarely ever tender. Brunswick stew taste like it came out of a can. My biggest problem with them is they're terrible take out service. They routinely screw up your order. Barbecue salad is a decent lunch. read more

I was very disappointed in the portion size of my half slab of ribs. I've been to a Dreamland in Birmingham, and that was an experience that I won't forget...in a very good way! This location gave me what I would describe as "riblets". When I described the wonderful experience, and the size of the ribs in Birmingham, I was told I needed to order "the big end"??? DO NOT TRUST WITH TAKE OUT! They short your order. Very salty since it opened 15 years ago. Love the BBQ Cobb salad. Ribs are usually tough and chewy. With so many great barbeque choices in the ATL area why compromise for average 'que? That's exactly what you'll do at Dreamland. The place just seems a little dark and dirty. The service is hit or miss. Recently the manager seats us and gets us set up, then an indifferent young server takes over. She's ok, but messes up the order forgetting fries, and bringing plates out haphazardly one or two at a time. The food is good. You can get the ribs with or without sauce, or with sauce on the side. The sauce is a little sweet and a little tangy. Cole slaw is solid. Dreamland is not bad, but it shouldn't be your first choice for BBQ in the area. read more

I have gotten better BBQ from gas stations in Texas than this nightmare. I ordered the chicken and rib plate, the meat was dry and burnt and cold in the middle. I didn't like the sides either, they tasted factory made. The service was OK but I do not think I shall return. read more

I've been to Dreamland several times and I was never super impressed. I really like the smoked sausage, but everything else always leaves me wanting more. I've never tried the ribs just because i figure they will be kinda like everything else. The mac is ok, but it always comes out room temp. The slaw and fries are very good, though. The sauce tastes mostly of vinegar and I started asking for it on the side. The pulled pork is good, but like I said about the BBQ sauce...All in all, it's an ok place to eat, but not the best ever. I visited dreamland after watching a special on the Food Network on the best BBQ spots in the country and figured I would give a whirl. Sorry to say I wasn't impressed. The ribs were chewy, tuff and dry.... Not to mention extremely over done. The reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars is because of the sides they were tasty and yummy, but let's be honest we don't go to a BBQ joint for sides...right!! If they could focus more on the tenderness and flavor of the ribs and marketing and less on the sides then maybe Dreamland Bar-b-q could be more of a dream than a nightmare. First off- the Brunswick Stew...a 'B' quit using filler (old baked potatoes) needs a bit of lima beans and okra (was a tad thin, but the place was packed). (I so wish I could remember her name :( ) but the place was PACKED 1pm on a cold Saturday afternoon. The waitrons were hussling but all smiles, tea never got even close to half empty. When they sat me next to a baby I was concerned but...she was an angel (the baby). A friend told me these ribs from dreamland were the best he's ever had. The ribs were very tuff and not very good. I will not be back. Also my wife got a combo platter with chicken and sausage and the chicken was cubed...I probably could have made better BBQ at home. Spent about $50 just so I could cross them off my list forever. What a shame. Also, you would think a $21 slab of dry tuff ass ribs would at least come with a side order or something. I feel betrayed by those ribs. Had higher hopes for this place as the server was very upbeat and proud of the ribs here. Went for lunch on a Friday service was quick and friendly but the food was c minus at best. Ribs (beef not pork) were tough and chewy. Pulled pork was over done and dry. Coleslaw and baked beans must be straight from Kroger. Brunswick stew was ok but certainly not stand out. Didn't get chance to try the banana pudding tho so maybe that would of been better. I Donno, bbq isn't that hard to do so this place should be better, especially if the whole premise of the place is the ribs. Had the sausage and chopped pork plate with fries and stew. Service was friendly and fast. Sweet tea was great. The fries were good, stew even better. The meat portions were ridicules. So much food for lunch, the pork was very good, had a ton of flavor and didn't need sauce. Is was very enjoyable. The sausage on the other hand was a little different. Best I've ever had. The server told me it's made from rib meat left over from the place they get their meat, it was amazing. Not sure why I enjoyed it so much, cooked perfectly, great flavor I guess. My boyfriend, knowing how much I love ribs, took me here for lunch yesterday and it was great. The portions were pretty big. The ribs were excellent -- meaty and not too fatty. The BBQ sauce was just the right mix of sweet and tangy -- as good on my fries as it was on the ribs. Our server was friendly and attentive...my sweet tea never ran out.
