Great distillery and a very nice tour. Definitely a gem for the small town. The Bourbon was excellent and we purchased a couple bottles.

Went for appetizers about one o'clock and we were told they didn't serve them until after three. For someone who wants small bites instead of a big meal, just go later in the day. If you're a Gin fan theirs is good, nice flowery notes and not totally juniper. The avocado burger was perfect doneness, the Asian salad side was really good! I ordered the chicken pita which could have used a little more cook time on the pita, seasoned well! Good service! Cool decor! Comfortable. Best artisan old fashioned I've ever had! read more

We stopped in at the Distillery while we were staying at the Ringling House in Barron, and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was very nice, the drinks were excellent and reasonable ($6 Old Fashion's) and my pot roast was delicious. They distill their own spirits and vinaigrette's and have a gift shop where you can taste and purchase all of their products and glassware. Highly recommended. read more

We stopped in during a recent camping trip in Devil's Lake. Loved the atmosphere, and the bartender was super friendly and helpful. I had the Vodka flight - the Lemon Lacey is great - tastes like a lemon drop in a glass. Husband had the Gin and Brandy flight - and the gin was extremely smooth. Didn't do the tour - but they offer it every hour on the hour for $10. I'll definitely be back to go on it. They've only been open a few months, so only a few of their spirits were available for purchase. The price point for purchase was a bit high for me, but it's still definitely worth a visit. The 608 (lemon vodka, lemonade, blueberries) was one of the best drinks I've had in a long time, very refreshing after a hot summer day. We also tried the Wild Mushroom Brushetta at the bar and it was delicious. read more

I decided to write this review because we were disappointed that our servers were not wearing masks this week and our meal there was just ok vs the usual amazing we've had in the past. as long as covid is a a thing we unfortunately won't be back. I'm writing this review, much delayed - I had a fabulous dinner here last summer after climbing at Devil's Lake. Spirit flights. The owner invited us to sample brandy straight from the cask. Just a great time, all around. We had two dinner entres - at first I was sort of surprised, the lunch menu is normal price, but the dinner menu is very expensive. But, it's a white linen tablecloth restaurant for dinner, so the price was right, even if it was high. My fiance had salmon, I had duck. Both were awesome. Artfully presented. I have no clue where they got the chef talent in Baraboo WI. Alright, for humor, they brought out a bread basket. I couldn't figure out for the life of me where the bread was, since it was wrapped in a napkin. I thought (or maybe 2 tipplers of brandy thought) that they had brought out an empty basket. Nope, just wrapped in a napkin. I'm dumb :D Again, can't recommend the place enough - lovely distillery, great times waiting to be had. read more

Came here for the first time with my family of four! They have been there before. The service was great and the place is just beautiful. My family enjoyed their drinks. However were a bit shocked at the increase in prices on the alcohol there..especially in the store. I ordered the spicy tuna flat bread. The sirache mayo and sirache on top completely overhwlemes the dish. I usually love spicy but that was too much for me! There wasn't a lot to it. The tuna was sparce and the flat bread was extremely flat!. Don't think it was worth the price. Overall nice little place to get drinks. But I wouldn't come here for dinner. The atmosphere at this restaurant is great. We sat at a table for lunch that overlooked the water- a cute running river. The restaurant was not busy, but we also arrived at the start of service. It was too cold to do so, but there was patio seating outside too. The food was wonderful on both my plate and my husband's. Visitors can take a tour of the distillery and they offer a tasting afterwards. You can also visit their small gift store or have a drink at their full-service bar. Lots of cool cocktail options. We will be back for dinner if we are ever in the area. Service was good too. read more

Tour was fun! Katie was great and informative. The tastings were delicious with the vodka being surprisingly smooth. Coupled with the oil and vinegar tastings, the overall tasting experience was wonderful. After the tasting, Mike came out and asked us what we thought which I found to be very respectable and honorable. An owner that goes out of his way to see how his product is doing, now that's a business that will produce quality product! We got a cocktail which were delicious. I so wish the food offerings weren't so fancy and offered something simpler for the times you just need a snack. However, the server did offer cheesy bread as an option which wasn't on the menu and it was perfect. I cannot wait until the bourbon becomes available! read more

Definitely our favorite restaurant in the area or really anywhere for that matter. The food is very high end without being over priced. The ambience is great as is the service. My wife and I have only been there two or three times but still consider it one of the better places we've been. We will definitely be loyal customers and can't wait for our next visit. read more

We went here 2 days out of a 3 day vacation. If you are looking for outstanding, gourmet food, this is really the only place in the area, besides maybe Ishnala. It's quality over quantity. Heather was a great server, the view on the patio is so relaxing. The Italian Beef is the best I've ever had - wherever the bun is from, it's phenomenal. The Salmon burger was flavorful and go with the asian slaw or potato salad. I didn't totally love the pasta salad, but everything else is top notch. Yes, it's pricey for the area but perfection costs more. read more

Stopped for a cocktail on a motorcycle trip due to a recommendation from an employee at a Harley dealer. Great idea. This place sits right on the river. Really nice inside, and has outside seating as well. Great bar staff. I ordered the Brandy Old-Fashioned. Awesome! Hand made craft cocktails here. Another friend ordered the cucumber vodka with mint. Very refreshing! The drink menu is great. Lots to choose from. Next time we are going to do the distillery tour. A must stop. read more

We visited Driftless Glen on our anniversary. We did the 7pm tour which ended up being just my husband, myself, and Jake our tour guide. The tour was fun and took about an hour. It included tastings of olive oil and vinegar made at the distillery first, a walk through the distillery, and tastings at the end. Jake was an excellent tour guide. I really liked that they offered some mix ins with the tastes of a few of the liquors. For example, they mixed in bloody mary mix with the cucumber vodka. I'm not a big liquor person, but I liked the cucumber vodka and the flavored liqueurs. We stayed for dinner after the tour. The outdoor space was amazing. Our server was great and very patient with us as we decided to go inside once the bugs started coming out. Our food was great and the bloody mary's we order were great as well. We would definitely go back. Highly recommend on your trip to Baraboo or the WI Dells. read more

This is a great restaurant. I've gone in with my husband because he likes to have a drink or two or three. I don't drink but I do eat and I have to say the food is fantastic. Whether I'm eating a huge meal or just having the Caesar Salad and Twice Baked potato, everything is delish. I totally recommend this restaurant to the connessieurs who enjoy both food and libation. This is substandard expensive food served in a snooty environment. We've been here three times, each time thinking hat we must have missed something the last time. But ultimately the quality of the food was just a rich above what I'd expect at TGI Friday's. At thrice the price at least. Our meals consistently Lacked flavor we found ourselves asking each other "is that it... really?!?" Often surprised that you could make something pretty straightforward that lacked flavor as much as our food did. Also not very kid friendly. It was decent food and I'd give it 4 stars if the price matched the quality. But if you're looking for well thought out, delicious food at a truly quality restaurant that's not stuffy or snooty or pretentious, I'd pick Little Village Cafe every time. read more

We've been in the Dells for the last three days, and the food had been... Disappointing. Until we came to Driftless Glen. From the moment we walked in, it was a different level of Everything. The service was fantastic, attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I had the Ahi Tuna salad (trying to stay Keto) and though the salad probably wasn't entirely keto friendly, it's the only salad I can remember that I would happily anticipate eating again in the future. A $10 flight of their in-house spirits was not only tasty, but a significantly more generous pour than I would expect for that price. My wife had the Granny Smith Old-Fashioned made with their Apple Pie Rivershine, which was incredible! Our deserts were a creme Brule and the bourbon bread pudding. My wife thought the bourbon sauce was a bit too much for her, but I thought it balanced the sweetness of the bread pudding perfectly. Overall, this was the best meal out I've had in quite a while, and made up for the rest of our disappointing meals in the Dells. Maybe next time we'll just come to Baraboo instead! read more

I was in the area for a hiking trip and figured I'd check this place out. I was NOT disappointed. The restaurant / distillery has a very modern look and is very spacious. I was immediately greeted and taken on a tour. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable which helped me learn a lot. Afterwards I was given a tasting of my choice of their spirits which were amazing. I finally ended my visit with a burger and salad. The food was delicious. My family stopped in here just to take a peek at a menu and see this beautiful place for ourselves. We always hear things about the distillery and restuarant and have just never gotten a chance to stop in. Immediately when stepping into the front we were greeted with smiles and hellos. We walked around and noticed how clean it was. It is very modern looking and open. They offer indoor and outdoor seating with a nice view of the river running outside. We did not do a tour, but rather we sat at the bar and sampled the products. We enjoyed reading all the different cocktails they can create with thier different boozes they make. We ended up trying the crab cakes which were packed with flavor. They were very tiny, suprisingly small, but very tasty! We had a smore's vodka drink which was delicious. We also tried a few different old fashions that were very tasty. Bartendar was very friendly and fun to talk with. Long story short we will be back. We ended up buying a bottle of bourbon, a bottle of Smore's vodka, a bottle of cherries, and like 3 different flavored balsamics to go into our old fashions! read more

Huge fan of this place. I highly recommend the tour and tasting, the guides are always very knowledgeable and friendly. Very unique and delicious selection of balsamic vinegars and olive oils, which are worth the trip on their own. Great tasting spirits, my favorite is the young bourbon. They have several old fashioned drinks that, while pricey for the area, are amazing. I haven't had a meal there but the appetizer that we enjoyed was great. We've been here several times and will keep going back every time we run out of whiskey/olive oil/balsamic vinegar! read more
