Such a fun speakeasy in Downtown Annapolis. The prices are a bit high but well worth it for the great cocktails, bartenders, and ambiance.

Great burger. Not a great picture... but what great flavor.

Come for Brian. Stay for the food. Seriously have not run across a very warm friendly bartender in so long who is also incredibly skilled at his craft and wants to share the methods with you. Brian's drinks are works of art, and he's just generally a really nice guy. We got an appetizer and some burgers. I'm not usually a go-to burger guy but these were fantastic. Incredible flavor. Cooked perfect. Crisp bacon. Would recommend. Sides and Brussels sprouts great also.

Service here was prompt and friendly! They didn't rush us to put our order in The atmosphere was casual, dimly lit, like a more polished pub (no TVs). I came here on July 4th for an early dinner! My favorite by far from this lineup was the chicken wings. The pomegranate wings sound weird but just trust me, they were so tasty! Seafood Mac and cheese was good but I think needed just a little bit more flavor. And the cookie skillet was gooey and sweet--no complaints here I love a good Overall I'd eat here again if I were in the neighborhood!

Great time in Annapolis Dry 85 was across the street from Annapolis ice cream and my wife was pretty hungry so I checked out Yelp to see if there were any available spots that had burgers and low and behold we found Dry 85. Dry 85 is a bourbon bar that sells food at an affordable price. They have over 100 different bourbons and the drinks looked good but that day we focused on just the food. The bar is dark, and lowkey quiet definitely more on the masculine side. I ordered the honey glazed salmon salad with lemon vinaigrette goat cheese green tomatoes spinach and kale. This was delicious and refreshing. I truly enjoyed this salmon. The spinach and kale was crisp and the vinaigrette added a summer tanginess to the salad. Can you believe this was only $16? Our waitress was nice and friendly and answered every question we had. I will definitely be back to try a cocktail since bourbon is indeed my favorite.

Visiting Annapolis for the weekend and decided to pop in for a few drinks! They are delicious, but be warned-- very alcohol forward! We sat at the bar but noticed there was plenty of seating inside. Our bartender was quick to help us and overall we had a great experience!

A few weeks ago I found myself in an Annapolis hotel on a Sunday morning with a Renaissance Faire hangover craving the only thing that ever seems to cure this affliction. I quickly searched "bacon near me" and this was the closest option that popped up on Google. Bacon Brunch?! Say less, I'm in! The prohibition vibe is awesome and they're really detail oriented. I even enjoyed the historically informative menu. Fun AND educational! Food was great, I had the Benedict and my husband had the charcuterie dish. Hair of the dog did not disappoint! Bacon bloodies were tasty and I'm surprised this place wasn't more packed for brunch time. At one point we were the only ones in the restaurant. I'm not too familiar with the area and maybe this is the slow season, I do not know. It did start to fill up when we were leaving but would definitely come back!

Awesome place for food and drinks! Get in here and peruse a REAL bourbon and whiskey selection. It's stunning how many top shelf ones they have on hand. The food was amazing too! We decided to have one burger and split it with three of their appetizers to share as well. They had mushroom soup that was delicious and creamy as well as savory. We had the seafood Mac and cheese that was truly a wonderful dish. We also had hand cut fries with truffle oil, we also had street corn tots with Queso fresco, creama, corn and cheese on top. Overall it was a great experience and we'd do it again. It was full on the Thursday night we went during the midnight madness, so they took our cell number and let us continue to go in other shops while we waited for our table

Came across Dry85 while walking through Annapolis. I love a cocktail bar , so I was excited to grab some drinks. We started with the Lavender Fields and the Presidente. Both were solid choices. For our 2nd drinks, we asked our bartender, Danielle, for her recommendations and she showed out! She was happy to make us her off menu specialies using our preferred liquor. Both were hits! I took off 1 star because it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us when we came in and sat at the bar. I can definitely be understanding of a busy restaurant, but a simple acknowledgement and handing a menu off can go a long way. Once Danielle got behind the bar , we were good to go.

The spot in Annapolis to get a whiskey cocktail or neat. Every classic was on the menu. Bartender seemed super knowledgeable. Mac and cheese was super hearty but didn't taste overly cheesy. Fried pickles were fresh with a little zest.

Unless you get there super-early at 4, before the 5pm dinner opening, and then wait in the shorter line. Unless you are having lunch there, and in that case I am guessing it may be the same, ie getting in the cue at 11ish before 12pm. I have had the Spotted Pig pizza and whatever enticing pie specialities they have rotated seasonally. I usually opt for the truffle oil or balsamic glaze on our pizza. I have never needed to tweak their delightful presented ingredients combinations. Their pizzas are that outstanding. Take for instance, a recent summer pizza from the Chef's own garden: "The Cuba Libra pizza ...This white pizza features mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, complemented by pork confit, chile-roasted jicama, pickled red onions, cilantro, and fresh mint." I'd never crave mint on a pizza but if Eastport's Vin 909 is serving it, I'm probably going to enjoy it. If you are the more traditional type, another seasonal pizza featured is the Yankee Pie: "family recipe crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, summer sausage, marinated red peppers and oregano." And yes, please, to another summer, perfect-in-Annapolis feature: "Vaquero Clams: Steamed local little neck clams, English ale, bacon, grilled poblano peppers, garlic guajillo butter, fresh oregano, epazote and cilantro." I love the gigantic Vin 909 featured arugula salad. I also miss their divine french press coffees and Butterscotch Pudding with caramelita points. A little known fact: when I was there, you could purchase extra caramelita points for $2 or $3. Vin 909 is truly the best dining in Annapolis -- or Naptown -- as folks like me say.

They are definitely lighter on the sauce, so if that's your preference these are perfect. Personally, I like my wings a little saucier, so I would probably ask for extra sauce next time. The chicken itself was fried perfectly and the portion size was pretty solid. For my main, I got the buffalo chicken wrap with no buffalo sauce and it was amazing. The lettuce, guac, and pico all tasted fresh and paired really nicely with the breaded chicken in the wrap. My only complaint with it is they go pretty light on the guac and pico, so I wish there was a bit more of both. The pricing overall was fair too and didn't feel over the top for the quality and portions. The fries that came with the wrap deserve their own mention because they were phenomenal. Crispy golden brown on the outside with a soft, fluffy inside. Honestly, I'd come back just for the fries alone. I requested outdoor seating when making the reservation and they have a really nice outdoor section with a great atmosphere and view. They did a good job with the space they had, but the tables are pretty close together, so you can hear basically every conversation around you. The chairs were also a bit smaller and not the most comfortable for longer seating. Service was great all around. Our server was very polite and even helped my very undecided sister choose her meal. Everyone was friendly and it definitely feels like a nice place to bring friends or family. My only real complaint, and honestly this applies to a lot of places nearby, is the parking. It was pretty rough. Other than that, definitely a place I'd come back to.

The location and atmosphere are definitely one of the highlights. Being right on the water made for a great view, especially as the sun started going down. We sat in one of the covered open-air areas, which gave us some shade while still allowing us to enjoy the breeze and waterfront scenery. It was a really comfortable setup and the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy yourself without feeling rushed. The restaurant was definitely packed when we went, and there was a pretty significant wait for the food. What I appreciated, though, was that the staff was upfront about it from the beginning. They let us know that food could take around 45 minutes to an hour, so we knew what to expect instead of sitting there wondering what was taking so long. I really appreciated that communication, especially considering how busy they were. As far as the food, everything we ordered was good quality. We tried several different items from the menu along with a few drinks, and overall we were satisfied. The drinks were okay as well, although I would have liked to see a better or larger selection of beers available on tap. The customer service was pretty good, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we were able to sit back and enjoy our time there even with the longer wait. Overall, Coconut Joe's is a nice place to relax, grab some food and drinks, and enjoy the waterfront with family or friends. Between the open-air seating, water views, sunset, good food, and the staff being transparent about the wait time, we had a good experience. We had a late lunch/early dinner. We were greeted enthusiastically by friendly hostesses. We were seated immediately. The service is very good especially for a place this large and this casual. Today we were served by Olivia - Liv - and she is just about the best server ever! So cute, so friendly and so nice to talk to. Plus she worked so hard!!! Kudos to Liv for providing some of the best service that day! I ordered the half & half crab soup. Perfection as always. However, the boneless chicken wings were disappointing. I have eaten the regular, bone-in wings here before and they were outstanding. The boneless version was not. There was more breading than chicken and it left something to be desired. So - note to self - stick with the bone-in chicken wings and you will be impressed. I just didn't want to get my fingers dirty this time and that decision was not a good one on my part. My spouse had the crab cake sandwich and cream of crab soup. The crab cake was good but the bun was simply overwhelming. Less bread please, Coconut Joe!!! Of course, I recommend Coconut Joe's without reservation and I doubt much could happen at this point that make me move this restaurant into the "not recommended" category. It is such a nice place - it makes me smile now just thinking about it.
