Duck Dynasty had quite the reputation to live up to. I had heard many great things before trying for the first time. I liked how you got to choose your own toppings. That concept is always fun especially when it comes to doughnuts. They have a nice selection of toppings to choose from including specials. My favorite would probably have to be the maple with bacon. Cannot go wrong with the salty and sweet combo. Seeings how this place is quite popular you can have quite the wait when you go so be prepared. You can order ahead online though. I did feel though with the rush of keeping up with orders my doughnuts were a little too greasy tasting for my liking but still delicious though. Will not keep me from coming back. Parking is not an issue at least. Theres a nice big parking lot out front. The price is comparable to other doughnut places. read more

Hard to get past the dirty floor that was so sticky that my shoe almost fell off with every step. We were there after the morning rush and a lot of workers standing and watching people stick and crunch through the store with no effort to clean up. I've worked at A doughnut place before and let me tell you.. Nothing compares to a fresh cake doughnut with fresh icing and toppings! These doughnuts were amazing. Yes it took a little bit longer than usual but it's well worth the wait. It's not to crazy expensive either. Donuts I loved these donuts. Man o man these donuts are breath taking. I consider them specialty donuts because of all the custom toppings. Now mind you its just one base style donut being made then doctored up several different ways. LOVE IT! You come in take a sheet fill it out which can be confusing lol place the order then watch the magic happen. So many flavors to choose from. I ordered the signature dozen and was not let down. Caution you can't eat an entire donut due to the richness of flavor. These donuts had my taste buds in a high lol. You gotta and I mean gotta eat these donuts if only just once! read more

I have to admit, the thought of donuts with cereal and icing did not appeal to me. However, I decided to try this place because the kids wanted to. I was very pleasantly surprised! We each got our own donut, mine was the vanilla cake donut with maple icing and Marshmallow drizzle. The donuts come out warm and the icing is melty and it makes for an amazing treat! Considering every donut is custom and made to order, their prices are very reasonable. When we arrived, there wasn't a long line, but it did take a little time to get through - with everybody looking at the menu and deciding what they want. I could see that this would be a long wait on a weekend morning. This place is great for a treat, but I'm not sure I would buy a dozen of these to take somewhere as I'm not sure they would be as good after they cool down. They are a cake type doughnut that seem best served warm. I like that you get to watch your donuts being made. read more

Very delicious donuts!!! They are made fresh and decorated the way you want. There are about 8 icing options including PB, blueberry, glazed, chocolate, vanilla, powdered sugar, and cinnamon sugar (and I think a couple others. There are about 8 toppings options including Oreos, rainbow sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, coconut, and chocolate drizzle (I think there were a couple other toppings as well). I posted a picture of the menu so you can see all the options. I got the PB icing with Oreos and it was amazing. I also tried the cinnamon sugar and the powdered sugar and the chocolate iced. All options I had were very good. The donuts are very moist and I could have probably eaten the entire half dozen by myself. This store just opened in Westerville and the lines are very long (I went at 8pm and the line was almost to the door), but definitely worth the wait. read more

IF you like traditional fry-cake style donuts -- this is the place for you. Back when I was in college (way too many years ago) , we made our own donuts in the student dining halls. The 1st time I walked into Duck Donuts I was surprised to see them using the same equipment that I had used back in my college days. The big difference between the donuts we made in college and the ones at Duck Donuts are what they do with the donuts AFTER they come out of the fryer. ALL donut orders are custom made right in front of you. When you come into the store, you pick up an order form and specify how you want each donut to be topped. Then, as they come out of the fryer -- still hot - the staff custom creates each donut based on your order form. The donuts are still warm in the box when you leave the store. There are no mass produced or pre-made donuts at Duck Donuts. Everything is made custom to your own specifications. read more

I came by here after a quick lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, I thought I would just pop in and see what it was about... little did I know the smell that hit me as soon as I walked in the door was amazing. Lol. I had no idea how to order and looked at the menu first and the person behind the counter helped a lot and was patient as I asked a lot of questions. I got a variety of donuts because I decided I would take them to work in the morning for my co-workers. I made my order and got a ticket with my number on it and decided to watch them make my order behind the glass. It only took a few minutes and there was quite a line after me but I noticed while waiting there that a lot of people were stopping in and ordering just two donuts and having coffee. I thought that was a great idea. I saw they made breakfast sandwiches as well but didn't know if would ever have time in the morning to stop in super early and grab one since I work in Upper Arlington. Anyway, took them home and the first one I tried was the chocolate and peanut butter donut with chopped peanuts added on top and as I took it out of the box I could see it was still warm. It literally melted in my mouth. The bare donut itself was like cake. So delicious. The next morning I took the rest to work in the morning and even though they weren't warm, they loved them as well. I also love that they give back to the community and partner with charitable organizations. While the wait can be a bit long, the donuts are definitely worth it. I wrote my order down on the sheet they had, the girl at the cash register didn't pay attention to the quantity so she gave me 4 donuts instead of 6. When I tried to order coffee, they told me they didn't have any?? While waiting for my donuts, the teenage workers stood and talked while not making my donuts. I went on a Saturday and they were getting straight mugged, no line barriers, no crowd control of any kind and by the time I left it was so packed there was no elbow room at all. It took 45+ mins to get donuts that I honestly wasn't that impressed with. They were fresh but the batter is dense, I prefer lighter, airier donuts. The maple bacon donut was all hype, the bacon bits used are not very good(tasted like they came precooked in a bag) and overall the confection tasted a pancake with syrup. Most of the other donuts from their "Customer Favorites" that I sampled were too sweet for me. Duck's Donuts are delicious!!! The cake donuts are a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside- made perfectly! Then the toppings all taste so good mixed together. My fav is the sand dollar- vanilla glaze, coconut, and powdered sugar. read more
