We loved Due Fiori. We went on a Saturday night 6:30ish and stood in line for about 40minutes. Connor host/server came out repeatedly checking on people in line and ensuring they knew what to expect inside. He told us diversity in order was key as plates came out as ready. It was all served family style. Also, we could sample wine when we placed our order and recommended - Nebbiolo Rosato. After ordering, the host/server took us to a table. We started with Caesar which was covered in Parmesan and delicious. We also had bread & whipped ricotta. For our pastas, we took advantage of LBFSW and ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs - the meatballs were so flavorful. We also had the Fusilli & Pappardelle a limon - again both were yummy. The last thing to arrive was the Il Diavalo pizza - spicy and yummy. Servers checked in regularly. Outside patio is cute and comfortable. While I enjoy the family style, there should be some coordination in dishes. The Whipped Ricotta should be served with bread. A second set of plates should be offered after appetizers. Parking is in neighborhood and can be tough.

After seeing so many great reviews about this place, I had to try it myself. I anticipated a long line to get in, as people had been saying that you order and pay at the counter. I showed up around 5pm and sure enough there was already a line forming in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located around a neighborhood, so you have to find street parking, which can be challenging. I already did my research on what I wanted to order, so my process went fairly smoothly. I imagine some other people were not as prepared and asked a lot of questions at the counter which can make the wait time even longer for other people in line. We ordered caesar salad, pizza focaccia with soppressata, squid ink tonnerelli, and ribeye tagliata. We also ordered some glasses of wine. After ordering, they walked us to our table inside. This location used to be a bbq restaurant- shady grove- before they closed down. And wow I was so impressed by the change of the patio vibe. It looked way nicer now under Due Fuori. I truly believe the vibe of a restaurant is equally important to the quality of the food, and this place nailed it. Also, apparently you can still order more stuff even after you're seated. They don't really have dedicated server for each table but the service was pretty efficient in my opinion. Now the food, everything was delicious, I have no notes! Caesar salad, very good. Pizza, omg amazing. And I'm not a pizza kinda person, so this is really a compliment! It's the thick kind of pizza, and they put some honey on it too which makes it even more delicious to me. Next was the squid ink pasta, another delightful dish. My only complaint is that it's not big enough of a portion, haha! The ribeye tagliata was so good. It was served with some salad that's very refreshing. The server explained to us that the original dish comes with the greens and cherry tomatoes underneath the meat, but they serve it separately to keep the freshness and crunch. The meat has some nice crust on the outside, very flavorful. We ended up taking some of the ribeye home, as we were already really full. It was plenty of food to share between two people. I definitely will come back to try other dishes, especially the other popular pasta dishes. This place has been really popular and I heard the line is still long even after a few months (or maybe it has been a year now?). Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Italian food in town. Very hip, vibey place, and delicious food!

I know it might surprise people to know the Caesar salad is not an Italian thing at all, but it is a very Italian American thing invented right across the border in Tijuana at Caesar Cardini's restaurant 102 years ago this month. So it's fitting that a rendering of that famous salad is making a Long Beach Italian eatery famous 100 years later. Personally I'm not a fan of it just way too much Parmesan and not much else going on with it. But it is fun to look at and have a couple bites and it's more similar to the earlier versions of the Caesar salad. I appreciate that it is not over dressed like so many salads at restaurants can be. The fire roasted snap peas were amazing. We got a seafood pasta dish I can't remember what it was called but it was also delicious. The highlight of the night was Connor and the wine. They set us up with several tastes and enlightened us about this new orange wine trend. He was a fount of knowledge and made the counter ordering experience more fun. I would return for Connor and the wine and snap peas tomorrow. The space is loud, high energy and fully staffed so even though you order at the counter later it feels more like full service. No one really came around to offer more wine or dessert so not sure if they have dessert. Could have gone for another glass of wine but then not getting one saved me $15-18 and I could still ride my bike home. Their bread is supposed to be amazing so have to try that next time. It's not a cheap night out but it is a fun one. I wouldn't bring kids here or too large a group maybe 6 max.

I was surprised the line was long at 5:30 but it went by pretty fast and a server came out to give out menus and answer any questions which was a nice touch. Ordered the Cesar salad,margarita pizza and seafood squid ink pasta. Cesar Salad was outstanding with lots of flavor but was disappointed with the fig salad. Figs weren't ripe. Pizza dough was ok but nothing notable. Pasta was also average. Service was very good but don't think I will return.

Very unique concept and experience! We came towards opening so the line went by fast but it grew quite a bit by the time we left. Really amazing customer service, they'll explain the menu to you in line so you're prepared to order at the front. From there, you sit in the back patio area and dishes come out one by one. The menu itself is a bit on the higher end, but it's a great spot to split and share. Cesar salad and sourdough are a must! The pizza looked intriguing but we opted for three pasta dishes instead. Fusilli was my favorite, followed by the Cacio e Pepe, and then lemon pasta. I liked the unique noodle options and was satisfied with the dishes. It wasn't the best pasta I've ever had, you're definitely paying for ambiance and the experience. They serve tap water, so we ordered soft drinks and many tables had wine. Since they're so busy, they're constantly bussing your table to encourage you to leave. I don't think this is the best place to catch up with friends. Overall a unique spot in LB!

I love this restaurant! I can't wait to go back! You start by lining up to order first at the counter and then you are seated. There is a whole back area so don't be discouraged by the small front of the restaurant, there's more seating! The line moved relatively fast. The service was great, our waitress was very attentive. The food was amazing! We didn't have much expectations but it exceeded it. We got what the counter recommended which was the scallop crudo, Caesar salad, seafood pasta and pepperoni pizza. We thought the scallop crudo was the weakest, although the scallop was fresh, the dressing it came with didnt really do much? I personally think the star of the night was the Caesar salad! Probably one of the best Caesar salad I've every had. So good that I didn't want to share. Next time I'm ordering it just for myself! I love seafood and normally when I get a seafood pasta at any restaurant it's just whatever and fine, however the seafood pasta here was spectacular! The flavors were so bright and delicious, it really all came together. The pizza was also really good! But we couldn't finish it.

Absolutely worth the hype & more! Some of the best service and food I've had in LB. The people here are so nice and attentive to their guests. They let you try various wines to pair the perfect one with your meal. The vibes, colors, aesthetics are dreamy as hell. The food is meant to be shared family style which I loved. I've now tried their brunch & dinner menu which do have overlapping things. Pappardelle a Limone -- is just as good as everyone says. It's not too sour. Balanced perfectly with the creaminess. Def a fave Caesar Salad -- absolutely get it!! Covered in cheese. Crunchy but drenched in sauce and cheese. It's soooo good. Brunch Potatoes -- they're okay. I wouldn't get again. Brunch Sourdough -- absolutely get it! The bread itself is phenomenal but also the jam it comes with is on its own level. CACIO e PEPE -- creamy, just the right amount of pepper Spaghetti & Meatballs -- the sauce is to die for. So much flavor. The meatballs are super tasty with a fennel forward taste. Street parking isn't usually too bad. A little pricey in this economy but it's absolutely worth it. Can't wait to come back!

We recently had a book club dinner at Due Fiori, and it was such a great choice. I had been once before and loved the back patio, so I was excited to come back -- this time without my baby -- and fully enjoy a night out with the girls. We started with olives, sparkling wine, house sourdough, and the prosciutto and burrata. The bread comes in a cute little cast iron -- warm, fluffy, and perfect alongside the prosciutto and cheese. For mains, we shared two focaccia-style pizzas: the margherita and the fiore di zucca (squash blossom). The squash blossom was my favorite -- it had pancetta, stracciatella, and béchamel, and was such a fun, flavorful combination. We also ordered two pastas to share (we had a vegetarian in the group, so we split one meat and one non-meat dish). The pomodoro was light, fresh, and slightly citrusy, while the baked paccheri was rich and indulgent. Both were delicious, but the paccheri was probably my favorite. For dessert, we had the affogato and cannoli -- and that cannoli filling was so good. The wine was great across the board, and our server was incredibly helpful -- letting us taste wines and guiding us through selections, which we really appreciated. Between the food, service, and overall vibe, it was such a fun night. We'll definitely be back.

Wow! Impressed with everything about this restaurant! I loved it! We came on a Saturday, we were a party of 3 and arrived just a little after 5:00pm. We waited in line for about an hour. The way this place works is you line up to order, then they give you a number for your table and seat you and then there are waiters and waitresses to bring you your food. As we waited in line they brought us menus and answered any questions we had and had great suggestions/recommendations, they were also super welcoming and friendly, Between the 3 of us we shared the Caesar salad, the sourdough bread, the pepperoni and the Diavola pizzas, the Pappardelle a limone and the mezzi rigatoni pomodoro pastas. Everything we had was amazingly delicious. All of the dishes were served hot and fresh out of the kitchen which I loved as well. I'm a foodie and honestly there aren't many restaurants I say I'd want to come back to again. This is because I prefer to try new places instead of returning to a place I've already been before. BUT HOWEVER Due Fiori impressed me, I truly loved it and would love to come again sometime. My 1 and only complaint was the hour long wait time BUT the customer service along with the great food totally makes up for it,

I finally made it here! A new staple in my neighborhood. This place is sooo cute, the decor and furniture; every detail is immaculate. We came right before opening their dinner service at 5pm. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by smiling staff (one of them dj'ing real records), you order at the bar then are sat. There's some bar seating and a few tables in the front but most of the seating is in the back patio area. We ordered the Caesar salad, and I'm not being dramatic when I say, this was the best Caesar salad I've EVER HAD! I will be coming back often to just get this. The rest of the food was also yummy, the pepperoni pizza was a crunchy gooey perfect square bite. The ragu gnocchi was a standout. The service was exceptional and intentional. The hype is warranted.

My new favorite Italian Restaurant. I found this place by accident. When you walk in. there is a small bar and a few tables. So it's very deceiving. Then you're guided walk to the back that opens up to a huge restaurant with so many tables and welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted by the friendliest host. He had the best suggestions on what to try and share with my party. Wednesday night is there special spaghetti and meatballs. which I highly recommend. The meatballs are made with Wagu beef and pork. The marinara was incredible. The Caesar salad, aka IL CESARE is a must. It's hard to describe how delicious this salad is. So much Parmesan. and the dressing was perfect. Crisp, delicious Romaine, yum! Nice size too, fed 3 of us. I did upload a photo. We also had the PAPPARDELLE a LIMONE. It's hard to describe how delicious this pasta was. Homemade noodles and the sauce was so Light and flavorful with the lemon, butter and Parmigiano, It was incredible. You also have to try the homemade sourdough bread. Served in a piping hot cast iron skillet, topped with rosemary , accompanied by rich olive oil and a side of grass fed butter.

Sooooo good! We had the bucatini cacio de Pepe, squid ink tonnerelli, sourdough bread, and two glasses of wine (sorry, can't remember the name). Would definitely come back! Staff is so amazing and the service was really good considering how packed they were. Dimly lit in the back with music on in the backround. This place has the best customer service I've had in years. From the moment our party of 5 came through the door we were greeted and offered wine or beverages immediately before we were even sat. I miss that. Multiple people took care of us every step of the way. I was very impressed. The food was great. The ambiance is very relaxing visually and musically. I want to give Daniel and the staff at due fiori a shout out for their amazing service and accommodations. I reached out via email a few days prior for my bday dinner. I didn't have enough people for the large party res (9 people) and didn't want to leave it to chance get a space for 7. Daniel made sure to reserve a space for my party and we did the pre fixe menu. The salad, apps, both pastas and pizza were absolutely perfect. I can't recommend this place enough and I'll be back before too long. The food is over priced for the quality. I ordered the Rigatoni Pasta and Margherita Pizza. The pasta was hard, the sauce tasted like Ragu tomato sauce. The pizza was all bread and cheese , 90% bread with some pieces of mozzarella and a few pieces of spinach. The service was awkward. From the moment you walked in, the waitress/cashier/host/bartender tells you to wait at the door with a menu. I've never been to a restaurant where they take your order, you pay, then they take you to your table. The ambience is a family type of setting. It feels like you're going to someone's backyard party. Maybe that was intentional. But ... lower the prices for the overall experience. read more

Found this place on Tik Tok and I am absolutely in love. The Cesar salad and pizza is to die for, 10/10 definitely recommend. The staff is nice and attentive and the vibe is cozy. Parkin is a bit of a pain and it can get quite busy but the line moves along pretty fast. I've been here once and already dreaming of coming back! read more

I want to start off by saying if you haven't tried this place you MUST, it was life-changing for me. One of the best if not THE best Italian food spots I have ever tried, especially in Long Beach! The service was so amazing and the waiters and staff were super kind! The ambiance is really nice as well, we sat on their back patio and it was lovely! Their furniture was really beautiful as well had a lot of mid century elements IMO. We had the special that evening which was a pesto linguini it was soooo good (pls make it a permanent item), their as well as their Caesar (blew us away), their olives, and their chilled red wine! Will definitely be coming back here again it was a lovely way to spend Mother's Day evening! read more

So good we went twice last night. My friend and I were taking a class a Kitchen Lingo- so we went early for dinner. Had wine and the snack plate, while we waited for the kitchen to open. They have a nice selection of Italian wine and they let us sample the wine. For dinner we had the Caesar salad which was delicious and the gnocchi, which was pretty good but not quite enough for the two of us to share. We didn''t have time to order more, as we had our class. After our class my friend was still hungry so we went back and sat at the bar and shared the Cacio e Pepe, which was DELICIOUS!!!!! The bartender brought us a little treat of a corn and tomato salad, which was amazing- the best farewell to summer salad ever. We ended with an affogato - the perfect end to the night. Food was so good we forgot to take pictures :((. When we went back the 2nd time- there was a line outside- but room at the bar, which was cozy and perfect. read more

Congratulations. You've found it. Yes. Look no further. This is where you're eating today. And no, I'm not exaggerating, my Yelpers. This is it. It's your boy KJ and zoo-wee-mama, I have had my mind rocked by this place to the nth degree. In the 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg titled "Jaws", Chief Martin Brody (played by Roy Schneider) delivered the iconic line "You're gonna need a bigger boat." And I couldn't think of better way to describe what it's like to enter into the dojo of Due Fiori. Each bite makes me want more. Every dish brings esteem and honor to my character. Every time I eat here I wish I ordered more. In another life, I would be able to purchase the whole menu in one sitting. But alas, I cannot. Anyways, the sourdough bread must be made from some magical elements unknown to modern man (or at least me). The scallops are wickedly talented like the one and only adele dazeem. In fact, they make me appreciate every scallop in the deep blue sea ;-) That dish is mucho pretty too ;-) Also, the pastas are fantastic, the pizzas are magnificent, and the wines are the bee's knees. Yep, Yeah, Uh-huh.....This place makes me rethink what i'm doing with my life. And I mean that in the best way. Big shout out to the wonderful care, professionalism, and personal touch the staff brings. Connor is a legend in my book. Even though the DF staff knows their food is ridiculously great, they are still clearly committed to providing an exceptional dining experience for us diners. Their collaborative touch really elevates the ambience. I will see you again, DF, but tata for now and thank you for another wonderful dinner! ;-) read more

Every 5 star review they get is well deserved! My wife and I stopped in on Friday night for dinner. We were immediately greeted and our host walked us through the menu and took our order at the front counter before leading us to our table in the rear patio. We ordered the house sourdough along with the fig e speck as our appetizer. The bread came served fresh in a little cast iron pan and was incredibly warm and savory. Pairing it with the ricotta was a wonderful idea suggested by our host and it brought the sourdough to another level. For our main course, we split a pepperoni focaccia pizza and an order of their pappardelle a limone. The pepperoni was Sicilian style which I love and the pasta? Incredible. Both my wife and I loved the brightness the lemon brought to the dish and intend to get it on our next visit. The food, the service, the ambiance... everything was top notch and we are happy to have another local spot to enjoy! read more

Congratulations, Long Beach -- you have a winner! Comfortable space with amazing and delicious food! Top notch and imaginative menu and well-considered wine list and cocktails. Wow! Just wow! Food was amazing and delicious. We ordered the bread, artichoke and I think mushroom app and the lemoney pasta. *please forgive me for not being the most helpful with remembering the names of the dishes, you'll know when you see the menu though. All three were must haves again when we get back. The servers who came to check on us were laid back and chill for the place, which we loved! I had a glass of the Soave and it was a great pairing for the meal we shared. Coming back and saying hi to Danny once again. read more

Due Fiori is super cute inside and out! Very cool bar when you first walk in and the back patio is a great place to drink wine and hang. We went the first week they were open and service was flawless. The food is fantastic, the Caesar salad was literally the best I've ever had and they have my favorite, Cacio e Pepe which was cooked perfectly. Can't wait to go back and try the pizza read more

Everything was amazing!! Servers are amazing and so kind and friendly! Food is beyond delicious. My favorite is the Caesar salad! We also tried the pasta and the pizza .. Was hot and delicious. The food is great and the service is even better. They are always on it. The bread is incredible but be warned it is only served during dinner. We were so sad because the bread is so good and we had gone for lunch not knowing that. Not surprisingly, they were so nice about it and they brought us free focaccia instead because we were so bummed. They are truly a class act. The pizzas are good; the Caesar salad is awesom; so much cheese. Yummmmm Love Due Fiori! read more

The food selection and vegetarian options were excellent. Try the cauliflower! Hearty and savory and it won't disappoint. The margarita and Caesar salad were fantastic. Came here for dinner around 5:30 and it was already pretty busy. The staff was very friendly and I already made plans to return to try another dish. The pasta was very flavorful and it was the perfect portion for one person. I appreciate appropriate portions. We had some delicious drinks while waiting for our food. Amazing natural and organic wine menu. I hope they are able to add another register to speed up ordering. I know it will only stay busy due to the friendly staff and great food/drinks. There are two large areas to sit and both have great vibes. The decor is also awesome. read more

69th review... nice. I've been probably a dozen times and everything I've ordered has been amazing. Definitely recommend the sourdough as a starter, even if you're ordering nothing but carbs all night. The duck ragu is immaculate as well, and I typically don't like duck meat. Call me old-fashioned, but I'd rather be seated, have a chance to look over the menu, order my drink, order my appetizer, order my entrée, and get my check when it's all said and done, at the end of the experience, just like any restaurant, since the beginning of time... I have no idea why all customers must order at the counter, carry their drink to their table, and then if you want another glass of wine or add a cast-iron sourdough loaf (which I highly recommend by the way) then have to pay for it all piecemeal- who benefits from this? is it a marketing gimmick to form lines outside? Finally got to try Due Fiori and I am so grateful I did. Easily moved up to a top restaurant in Long Beach for me. Let's start with the food. It's incredible. I ordered the Spaghetti Amatriciana and it was the best pasta I've had in this city. Fresh and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice and heat. My husband, who travels to Italy quite often for work, ordered the Pomodoro and he said it was the best, most authentic pasta dish he's had outside of Italy. Our group also had the pepperoni pizza, which was delicious, and the house sourdough, which was insanely great. My husband had the NA chilled red wine, and I had the regular chilled red wine, both of which were great. The vibes here are immaculate. The color scheme is gorgeous, and the whole place is warm and inviting...kind of a 70s Italian vibe that feels homey and chic. The patio is SUCH a huge improvement from the previous restaurants that have been in the spot. The built-in seating is great, as well as the fans and plants. Went there on Wednesday with a group of 16 for my daughter's birthday. The hosts', the servers were on their game!! The place was packed, and we did not want for anything. The food was amazing, as we all tried different dishes. We were able to sample many of them. The back patio was very relaxing, great vibe. We will be back for darn sure!! To the staff at Due Fiori. My girlfriend and I went for a date night and it was excellent. No complaints whatsoever. Great atmosphere and food, the house sourdough and Cesar salad were very good. The pastas were great as well, we got the papardelle a limone and spaghetti amatriciana. What really made me want to write a review was the service. An amazing experience in LB! Dinner is great! Even have legit options for the lactose challenged! I got to try a variety of wines too before locking one in to pay! They really treat you like someone special the minute you arrive. The patio is such a vibe, you'll feel instantly cool lounging with a glass of wine and taking in all the natural sun light! It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

And let me tell you, that everything was so good. The Smoked & Glazed Pork Chop came with a whole show, where staff would bring out the dish in a smoke-infused glass dome and open the dome when presented on the table so we can smell and see all the smoke. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it tasted just as beautifully. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the rainbow swiss chard, cheddar grits, candied pecans, and avocado honey helped balance out all the juiciness from the meat. They use haddock fillet for the Fish & Chips, which was fried to perfection. The Wedge Salad is what actually knocked my socks off! This was one of the best wedge salads that I've ever had. It had your key ingredients: iceberg, buttermilk dressing, red onion, crumbled egg, tomato, bacon gastrique, blue cheese, dill, chives - but something about this salad was different! It was so refreshing, flavorful--just everything you want in a dish. When I asked the clear manager in his outfit, requesting who the fake GM was, he along with the Bartender on shift played stupid as to supply her name. Margarita clearly was not a GM but felt that she needed to keep creating an unnecessary situation. The situation was already de escalated when he complied with what she asked. Bake in some time to find parking! There's both indoor and outdoor seating at this location. This inside is cozy and there's a second room for additional seating. I went on a Thursday night and it was slammed. They do not take reservations but they do have a waitlist via toast that you can join while you walk around and wait for your table. Plenty to do and see on 2nd street. We ordered the party platter for 4 people! It was the perfect amount of food with leftovers to take home. Everything was cooked to PERFECTION. Our beef was a textbook medium rare and was so juicy and tender, as was the rest of the meat. The chicken was so moist and flavorful, as was all the shawarma. All meats were seasoned beautifully. The rice underneath was stunning as well and really caught all the juices from the meat on top. The roasted tomatoes, onions, and pickles were the perfect compliments to help freshen up the palette during the meal. The sauces were amazing and there was a clear favorite (the garlic sauce) which was annihilated by all four of us. Service was friendly! It was very packed so it was slow at times but understandably so. They come by and give you orange blossom water for your hands post meal - what a treat! We smelled amazing! NO NOTES FOR OPEN SESAME! I have to come back with more friends! We did have an issue but it was with another patron who had the audacity to yell at my table (while I was in the restroom) for "having too much fun"?!?! Hummus and pita (5/5): It came with a generous amount of both hummus and pita. The hummus was well flavored and blended, and it really complemented everything on the table. The pocket pita bread was not what I had in mind (I'm used to thicker ones), but the kids really loved it overall. Ice cream (4.5/5): We ordered two scoops from the dessert menu. They were both really thick, creamy and almost chewy like liquidized mochi. It was a very interesting texture but nonetheless a nice tasty treat on a hot day. I much preferred the vanilla bean, as the pistachio tasted and looked rather artificial (and I'm a pistachio ice cream lover). This place had so many to-go orders during the afternoon we were there. I can see why. Food is super fresh and tasty. I think we will be back the next time we are visiting.

Due Fiori is a charming new Italian spot that we tried on a Sunday evening. Honestly, the food is absolutely worth it--the lemon pasta and the hot pizza were both delicious, and you can tell they put real care into their dishes. That said, being a new restaurant, Due Fiori is still working out some operational quirks, especially around their seating and ordering system. When we arrived, there was a bit of confusion with a line outside and only one staff member juggling seating, explaining the process, and handing out menus. We waited about 20 minutes just to get a menu and understand how things worked. Also when we got up to front we weren't allowed to order but waved by to be seated, then noticed parties behind us ordered and were seated, leaving us to watch the 2 parties behind us get food and drink before us while we waited further for order to be taken and drink to be served. One unique feature is that you order at the counter, and they offer wine tasting right there. While that's a nice touch, it does add to the wait time, especially if people in front of you are sampling wines and asking questions. What also stood out is their payment system: each time you place an order--whether it's food, a drink, or even just an extra soda--you have to pay immediately. This means you might end up pulling out your card multiple times if you decide to add something later. It's a bit inconvenient and can feel a little clunky if you're there for a more relaxed, lingering meal. We also discovered late in the process that there was bar seating where you could order immediately, but this wasn't communicated upfront. It would have been helpful to know we could have just sat at the bar and ordered right away instead of waiting in line. In summary, Due Fiori has fantastic food and a friendly atmosphere, but their ordering and payment system could use some tweaks to make the experience smoother. If you're willing to be patient and go with the flow, you'll be rewarded with a delicious meal. I'm looking forward to seeing how they refine things over time! This place is perfect from start to finish. Right away, you can tell that the staff is well cared for by the way they treat customers. They are incredibly helpful with the menu and even let you sample the wine and slushies before you order. They do an excellent job of not rushing you and seamlessly clearing your table between courses. If you have the chance to be served by Connor, you'll see what I mean; but truly, all the staff is like that. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the decor is vintage, fun, and truly one-of-a-kind. This place is a hidden gem, and every time I walk in, I feel like I'm going to have a great time. They consistently deliver excellent food, and the Italian wines are superb. Now, let's talk about the food . Try everything, but if you can narrow it down, make sure to get the garlic bread with butter and oil--it's absolutely mouthwatering. Don't sleep on the prosciutto and burrata, it's perfect for a group of 3 or 4. Next, order the Caesar salad; it's perfect, but be warned: it will ruin all other Caesar salads for you in the future. Don't forget to try the wine slushies--they strike a perfect balance of sweetness and booziness, and they stay cold the entire time. When it comes to pasta, make sure to order two dishes because you're going to want to try them all. I love the Pomodoro--it's packed with flavor and decadence. The butter, lemon, and Parmigiana pappardelle is perfectly rich, light, and bursting with flavor. If you're in the mood for something hearty, definitely try the baked pasta with béchamel and sausage. Third time coming here but first time for brunch! Right now it's open for brunch 10-3 I believe but check online. Came with my husband and two cousins and it was even better because we got to try even more items on the menu. Started off with some red wine slushies/mimosa slushies, Caesar salad, fingerling potatoes and carciofi e fagioli. Slushes on point as always! Red is my personal favorite. Ceaser salad is the best you will ever have. Fingerling potatoes need I say more? Love. Carciofi e fagioli took me by surprise in a good way. I didn't know what to expect but it was an incredibly interesting take on beans. Tasted like lemony and pickled to me. Next we shared our repeat favorites the lemon pasta and diavola pizza (the hot honey one). Then we had the rossa rossa pizza and the pomodoro pasta which both have excellent sauces. I would say it's more sweet than acidic which is so different than any regular red sauce that Ive had before. So much food but save room for dessert!! Today they had affodago. I'm an ice cream snob and this vanilla was top notch and you pour espresso with crema (if you know you know). It was served in a beautiful glass vintage bowl and the cutest pink espresso cup. Of course we were all so full and agreed this was the best Saturday we had had in a long time. Had a wonderful dinner at Due Fiori on 4th! The fresh pasta was the highlight of the meal. We ordered the Pappardelle al Limone, which was light, bright, and perfectly balanced with fresh lemon flavor. We also had the Bucatini Cacio e Pepe, silky, creamy sauce that let the Pecorino and black pepper shine. The sprouting cauliflower was a delicious side--perfectly cooked and great texture. The works of Daniel, Gianna, and Chef Waldo make for an overall amazing dining experience! My favorite dishes are the speck e carciofi white pie, papparedelle a limone pasta, and the il cesare. The house sourdough and carciofi e fagioli are also incredible. You can tell so much thought went into the beer and Italian wine selections, as there's something for everyone.
