Although we had to wait 20 minutes for our reservation, our servers Terel, Perla, and Justin were bantering back and forth with us, made us laugh so much, and made sure we were taken care of. We got so many different things that honestly were all 4 or 5 out of 5s - watermelon salad, lamb kebabs, oyster mushrooms, cauliflower, etc. Cocktails were also so well balanced and tasty. There is two floors but I think the second floor has a cool vibe to it because if the rooftop- I believe it's retractable but plenty of sunlight! Fully stocked bar with wine and specialty drink menu. They have a $33 al you can drink brunch special I've been to the SilverLake location for dinner so brunch was my first time at Bacari. Out of everything my favorite were the fries everything else was ok.... This place is drinks and vibes 10/10 with food being 5/10. We ordered the fries, chx wings, crudo (2), ceviche, pancakes, salad and a round of drinks. We dud share all items across the table since it is very much like tapas and family style dining. Second visit in two weeks! We visited on opening night and then late the following week. Still early in their new location in Long Beach. We usually avoid businesses just opening uo, but this one definitely has its act together- service and food! We ordered some of the same dishes we had (and loved) on our first visit, and some new ones. The dishes we had before, tasted just the same and beautifully presented. We love that the dishes ate shareable. This visit it was just our family. We went during Happy Hour (430-6pm) and everything was $2 off including specialty drinks (with well). We were seated upstairs on the patio. Summer months and a nice spot to relax and enjoy foid and drinks. Cocktails ate excellent. We had Bacaritas (again), Chill Pills, and Express Yourself (Espresso Matini). Very tasty and great presentation. Food - we ordered Burrata Capreese (again), Fried Chicken Sliders, Chicken Schnitzel (again), Sea Bass, and Brussel Sprouts (again). Dessert - we ordered The Best Cake (again) and rhe Pistachio Cremeschnitte. Their coffees are great too! Everything was so good! Definitely the Fried Chicken Sliders (cornbread coating) is a MUST! Ambience - fantastic, especially the rooftop, which is a fun and happening scene with a nice view. Food- mix of small plates, and my friend loved her sea bass and charred broccoli. My smoked mushroom pizza was fine, although I wish the crust were less soggy. My watermelon starter salad had some great texture with the pistachio bits but overall was not a cohesive plate and had too much yogurt dressing. The presentations were lovely, and cocktail list is varied and interesting. Service was a little disorganized but friendly. Bacari has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Long Beach! From the moment you walk in, the service is great manager even came up to introduce himself --consistently attentive, welcoming, and truly 10/10. The rooftop offers a chic, cozy, European-inspired atmosphere that's perfect for a night out, while the interior is dark, sexy, and equally inviting with its sophisticated ambiance. I've visited several times now, so unfortunately I didn't get photos of everything I've tried, but one thing remains consistent: every dish is packed with flavor and executed like art ! For cold dishes, I highly recommend the watermelon salad, shrimp ceviche, rainbow beets, and the kale salad. On the hot side, the sea bass, grilled chicken, salmon, flat iron steak, gnocchi, stuffed mushroom and margarita pizza are all standouts. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Beautiful new location with two stories and two bars. We initially came the first Sunday of the opening week and it was completely packed we had to leave. We came back again with a reservation during the week and our servers and other staff were really on top of the service. Food did take a while to come out but we were having a good time. We asked to move due to burning alive from direct sunlight and received notably less service. But overall if you want great food and drinks I recommend this place. Perfect spot for birthdays, girls night, or date night. Food was really good overall but the wings and ceviche with the house made chile lime chips were definitely our favorites. We also did the $39 all you can drink and honestly such a good deal for the vibe and drinks. I really like the newest Bacari in Long Beach. There is an outside dining/bar on the roof and a dual inside dining area on the first level on the southside of 2nd Street. The food is truly Bacari style served in a tapas format. I chose the Taco Shawarma, Skakshouka and Crab Benedict. The food was prepared well except for the Benedict which did'nt show up. The manager was still able to have it made for me to take home after half an hour of waiting. I'm not sure where the ball was dropped, but am still a Bacari fan. read more

Another outstanding addition to the growing LBC food scene. I've been to Bacari on 3rd St in LA and loved it. I couldn't wait for it to open here ever since I heard that they would be taking over the beloved Michael's place in Naples. They have done an amazing makeover and the decor will instantly transport you to the Mediterranean. Parking in the street can be difficult to find, especially on weekends but they have valet for $15. We were welcomed right from the door. We sat upstairs. It was beautiful especially after sunset. The staff were very friendly but as we went on a busy Saturday evening a few days after opening, they were still getting their act together and service was irregular. The only other issue was that the tables are very close to each other and it's very loud inside making it difficult to talk. The drinks are okay but the food is spectacular and very well priced. Plates are for sharing. They were sold out of their famous Moroccan Cigars. The lamb kebabs were delicious. The Chicken wings were outstanding with amazing flavors. I also loved the Pear and Brie pizza, while my partner liked her Sea Bass. The chocolate cake dessert was excellent. read more

Just checked out the new Bacardi on second in Long Beach (Naples Island side). It was great! Everything we ordered was delicious. All food arrived at our table in perfect time at perfect temp. The drinks are delicious. Every server we met was lovely and very helpful. We sat upstairs "outside" and it www lively but also cozy and comfortable. Parking is always interesting in this area, but they do have valet ($17). Will definitely go back. The bar looks fun and we'll probably try to sit there next time. read more

We were so excited to hear they were opening a location near our house, and it did not disappoint! We went with five friends last night and had an incredible experience. Came here Friday night for friends and family soft opening. Had a wonderful dining experience at their rooftop. We ate till we passed out. Elena was our server and she took care of us. She suggested some of our favorites and answered all of our questions. What stood out most to me was the Moroccan cigars. Sea bass, Asian pear & brea pizza and crudo. Also enjoyed the grill chicken breast, mostly the caper sauce. I didn't want them to take the sauce away because it was that good. I was figuring out how to use it as dip. I told one of the staff members how much I liked the sauce and wanted to soak it in bread. They gave me a comp pita bread to try out. They said it's made in house. The pita bread was soft, warm and fluffy. I would suggest to order pita bread if you're a fan of it. You won't be disappointed, it's really good. I liked the love letter if you like a not too sweet cocktail and Tokyo sunset if you like a citrus cocktail. The music was a smorgasbord of everything. I heard dance, jazz, hip-hop, disco, etc. cool spot for everyone, lots of big groups at the rooftop. I saw someone coming upstairs with their big dog when I was going downstairs to leave. Truthfully the food was great! I've been to the silver lake location before this one and absolutely loved it! Ambiance was awesome and I would definitely come back again, as everyone was friendly and helpful! The only downside that I had was that, timing of food coming out was slightly off. My group and I all received our portions at different times, and sometimes it felt like other food was forgotten. I know they just opened up, so things like this will only really improve, but just something to note nonetheless. I still will definitely return! read more

This restaurant has been on my list for some time and was very lucky to see a location opening near me in Long Beach! I lucked out and got a reservation the first week, so I had my 50th birthday celebration here this last Saturday night. We were a lively group of 5, full of foodies, a former executive chef, and people who love to have a good time. I think we ate nearly everything on the menu, except the Lamb Cigars and the Chicken Schnitzel which sold out before we could order these (our reservation was for 6:45pm). There was only one dish we didn't love, the pork belly, it tasted burnt but they were kind enough to remove this from our bill. I think the brussel sprouts were mid, but the broccolini was phenomenal, I don't know what sauce they put on that plate but it was delicious. For as much as we ate and drank, the bill was actually quite reasonable. The drinks were fantastic. Everything we ate was delicious. We were there for 5 hours and ended up shutting down the bar. We will definitely be back!!! One thing that was a little confusing was the roving waiters. We had one girl take our order and then never saw her again, she had left for the night and then it was not clear who we were to order food or drinks from for our next round. Thankfullly, the staff and management on site was very accommodating and explained that literally anyone can take our order, but it was a bit awkward to have to flag down different staff member each time. I think that was more of a learning curve for us being our first time visiting, and could have been made more clear by our first waitress. We went on a Sunday afternoon (4pm) you need reservations for a table so we opted for open seating at the roof top bar. Amazing ambiance, and great customer service. Rachel was our bartender and she was more than accommodating. She refilled our waters without us asking and had our drinks ready within a couple of minutes. Dennis helped me out exchanging my wobbly chair, just goes to show the type of hospitality and customer service this place provides. All the other servers were friendly as well greeting and smiling at everyone. Lastly, the food came out quickly but more importantly it was very flavorful and just enough. I was worried since the portions were tapas style but it filled me and the wifey up. Ordered the open face burger, stuffed mushrooms, ceviche, and cauliflower bites. Everything was great with the exception of the cauliflower and that was still pretty good. All in all I would definitely recommend this place and we'll be back for sure to try out other options on the menu. read more

I want to start this review off by saying the food was solid. If there was a rating on food alone, I'd give this spot 4/5, even 4.5 if it was an option. Flavors were fantastic, with the french toast being a personal favorite for their brunch menu. That said, this place just recently opened, the staff is still getting used to things, and it's very apparent. We didn't have a dedicated server, it was mostly a free for all. It was nice in that we regularly had someone checking up on us, but the actual service was hit-or-miss. The hostess (assuming it was a hostess - she was dressed entirely in black and the other wait staff had blue Bacari shirts on) cleared dishes we were still working on without asking on 2 occasions, and at one point was rushed and ended up spilling utensils trying to clear the table for the dinner service. One of the knives fell at my boyfriend, staining his shirt and flannel. The hostess didn't mention it or apologize, and left with the plates after I picked up the knife for her. That interaction didn't give us the best experience, which was a shame since we were really excited about this Bacari location given we loved their other locations in LA. The food and drinks were solid and when the restaurant gets a bit more established, I'd love to come back and try the rest of the options, however, I'd probably give it some time for the team to get acclimated before coming back again. read more

The place is nicely decorated. The staff and owner are all very welcoming. It was a full house so I recommend reservations, but they do accept walk ins. Our party consisted of husband, adult son, and myself and we shared every plate. We had flat iron steak that melts in your mouth. Mediterranean street corn that was full of flavors. Fried chicken sliders which were good, but we probably would not order again even though the chicken was juicy and perfect (there's just so many other options). Tripoline pasta that was different and good. Stuffed mushrooms that I'm still thinking about . And the Asian pear & Brie which was delicious!!!! We ended our amazingly DELICIOUS meal with 2 sweets, the Best Cake (don't be scared of the ingredients bec you will love it!!!!) and my favorite the pistachio cremeschnitte!!!!! It was my first time here and from what our server said it's only about a month old (06/18/2026). It was a very team oriented style service which is great because everyone was so helpful! Regrettably I didn't take any photos because I was living in the moment... but the food was great and the portion sizes are all "tapas style" or "family style" you order 2-3 plates per person and everyone shares. I tried many items but the stand out items in my opinion were the pear and Brie pizza the Moroccan cigars (which features a lamb and chicken mixture fried in an what seemed to be an egg roll wrapper) those were the hot dishes and the two cold dishes that really blew me away was the "little gem salad" and the ceviche! Overall I loved everything and I will be returning. The dishes are about 13-19 dollars a plate so it's average priced especially for the quality of dishes.
