    Barbabietole (Beet) Salad

Just amazing! We enjoyed an excellent meal at Massimo's. Service was exceptional with recommendations and attention! Our server was Gloria. We ordered many dishes for sharing (two couples) and she made sure we had clean plates and utensils with each course! Massimo was walking around and checking on each table and several times during our visit. Very nice to see the owner very engaged with their customers. The menu is great! Some of the items from Michael's that we all loved (i.e., Lasagna) and Pizzeria. Lots of new items! It was wonderful to do our courses as shared, many more wonderful tastes! They have a nice selection of wines by the bottle and several by the glass. Our wonderful server, Gloria, gave us tastes of the two wines we were deciding between for the table. We asked about bringing our own wine. Corkage Fee is $25 or buy a bottle and the corkage fee for the bottle you brought is waived. We were very pleased with Barbera we ordered. Food - we ordered the Barbabietole (Beet) Salad to start, so good; Shrimp Risotto; Carbonara Pizza (White); and their pasta special, Stuffed Pasta with Beef Short Ribs, OMG amazing! All the dishes were delicious but that pasta special, out of the world amazing! We noticed most of the tables around us also had ordered as well. We let Massimo know, it needs to be on the menu! It's hard to look at these pictures as I am writing this as I am craving it! Dessert - we shared two desserts, a Tiramisu and Panna Cotta, both excellent. Bringing back some Michael's Pizzeria favorites, they are offering the Affogato and several Gelatos/sorbets, fond memories of these along with several others! Espresso, Americano, and Cappuccinos paired great with dessert and perfectly brewed/prepared. You definitely need reservations, made on their website. It's small but very cozy with a very relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back and very soon!

Massimo is back! He took the best parts of Michael's and curated this cute, cozy spot just next door. There are only ~28 seats in the restaurant so reservations book up quickly. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food is wonderful. Full of flavor, not too much oil, and straightforward. We are so happy Massimo's is open!

This used to be the downstairs of Michael's. And welcome Massimo's!! This is a proper Italian pitch!!! Interior was renovated with classy subdued tones, but limited seating, so make reservations for an excellent meal! This review is just for dessert, which consisted of one of the best tiramisu I've ever had! The torta della nonna was well made with a nice flaky pastry, but it would have been perfect with just some more tartness from the lemon. Of course a double espresso was a mandatory accompaniment for me. I'm definitely coming back for a full meal, as the menu looks completely authentic and delectable . I see a very bright and delicious future for Massimo's!!!

Feel like a home cooking kitchen. Very inviting vibe. But sure to make reservations or try your luck on walk in. Service was good not great, we sat down around 445 just date night my wife and I. Three other table came in, 20 minutes after and got there bread service right away. No biggie, food order octopus & potatoes(delicious). Shaved Fennel & tangerine. (Delicious) and pasta special stuff short ribs pasta, really flavorful rich in sauce(delicious)

This is a Naples institution in the making The pizza and pasta are spot on just like when it was Micheal's Pizza on Naples. Service is top notch. Ambience is a business casual Wine list is excellent for a small restaurant.

We loved the experience. The place had such a chill vibe. The food was amazing. Loved the crust of the pizzas and don't sleep on the butternut squash starter. Service is very friendly. Great place for a small birthday dinner.

Stepping in to Massimo's in like being welcomed in to a little restaurant in Italy. Everyone gave us a warm hello even though at 8pm on a Wednesday every table was full. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. I felt like everyone working really wanted to be there. Massimo came over to say hello soon after we were seated. You can tell he's proud of his restaurant and paying attention to all the details. We started with an arugula, fennel and Cara Cara salad. Get this!! I could eat it everyday. It was so light. They split it in back for us and a half portion was perfectly sized. Of course we ordered a pizza. His billowy crust and quality ingredients make it special. There were a number of specials not listed on the menu. We ordered the branzino from the specials. I would order again. Fish was light but potatoes made the dish hearty. And of course we had to get the lasagna. We ended with tiramisu. Lots of wines by the glass and they are very reasonably priced. I haven't seen a $10 glass of wine at a nice restaurant in ages. I can't wait to go back to get that salad again and try more.

I decided to check the Resy app to try somewhere new besides the 3 restaurants across the street from me, and surprisingly found an opening at 7:45pm on a Saturday night! I walked there from my house so thankfully did not have to worry about parking. I felt completely comfortable from the moment I sat down. The atmosphere is warm and casual, there was live music and a lively group of people on the covered outdoor backyard. My server was lovely as well, attentive, but never felt rushed. Everything I ordered was delicious and perfectly paced. I started with the fried artichokes which I had never had before, but I love artichokes thanks to my Italian grandmother. So light and crispy. Then I had the caprese, what a stunning salad this is! The avocado was a bit random to me as I have never seen one with a caprese before and it was hard as a rock, but still ate the whole thing. I ordered the pasta alla routa Cacio E Pepe which I did not realize was $65 upon the time of ordering, but that's on me for not looking that closely. They told me ahead of time when it was coming out so I could video it being made inside the cheese wheel if I wanted since they couldn't come to me being that the backyard is covered in rocks. Thought this was nice since I paid so much for it, may as well be able to share the experience with others. I enjoyed two glasses of sangria with my dinner and finished with some pistachio gelato. All in all a great experience, I just wish the pasta was like $20 cheaper but lesson learned. I don't know that I would come here often since I spent $190 on dinner for myself, but I would come back for date night, or an anniversary, or a special occasion, and have already recommended since going.

It's classy, the kind of place you'd see in a late-90s/early-00s romcom date scene. It was tasty, but I just realized later it was missing the nduja sausage listed on the menu. For my entrée, I had the paccheri pasta with braised short rib. The beef itself was rich, tender, and full of flavor--reminded me of an Italian birria, which I loved. But the rigatoni tasted undercooked, which was disappointing. My fiancé ordered the tagliata, and wow--she definitely picked the better dish. The steak was perfectly seasoned, cooked to a beautiful medium rare, and paired with a silky potato purée that was absolutely delicious. Overall, it's a romantic spot with some standout flavors, but the small misses kept it from being a perfect experience.

Let's start with the win: the burger was "the best he's had in a long time"--which says a lot. Kudos on the burger! The banana smoothie also got a thumbs-up. Everything else? Meh. The pancake was okay. The scrambled eggs were... weird. Tiny little egg bits that had me wondering, are these real eggs? I asked for crispy bacon; it wasn't, so I couldn't eat it. The breakfast potatoes tasted reheated--no crisp, not much flavor, no joy. And the London Fog? Don't expect Starbucks loveliness. The plain black coffee was better. I also had the grapefruit juice, it was bitter, but tasted fresh squeezed, which I appreciate. Service was good. My server saw that I didn't eat my food and tried to make it better. The venue is nice, but if you're coming for great food--burger aside--we didn't find it here. The velvet chairs are comfortable and beautiful, but the stains and spills were evident. I was worried when I sat down about what was on the chairs getting on my dress. Overall, it's a place we'd only return to if we were craving that burger, everything else was a fail. I left hungry. Last morning here at the Fairmont. Tried breakfast at Nettuno again... disappointed and leaving hungry again. This time we had oatmeal (needed to add water, so dry we stuck the spoon in it and it stood straight up and didn't fall over), fruit (good), boiled eggs (took 20 minutes), and the avocado toast with a fried egg. It was not good. The menu says it comes with kale, but I received mixed greens with it, not kale and the flavor was bad. It's hard to make bad avocado toast, but they did. Disappointing. Plus, service was very slow today. Our order came out incomplete and out of order. The atmosphere is beautiful, but this restaurant has a lot to work on to be worthy of its prices and the Fairmont brand. Second fail.

We love meat lasagna, pasta w bolonese sauce, and some flat breads like appetizer pizza. We ordered 3, lasagna, tagliatelle bolonese, flat bread sandwich called Cassone w sausage, bell pepper, onions. I had some italian red wine per glass ($14). First, I loved so much my lasagna and kept eating until finish my entire portion. I give 10 stars. My wife's pasta, she said pasta is too thick, might be on purpose? She likes soft, thin texture handmade tagliatelle. For the first time, we ordered flat bread sandwich. The sandwich flavor was good, but not the dough for flat bread. Well, we tried here for the 1st time after shopping. Today was almost 81 this afternoon. Hot and humid.....unluckily AC was broken so he opened the entrance door. One big fly bothered a lot annoying us eating the foods. And so hot inside restaurant. Overall, I liked my lasagna a lot, not really tagliatelle bolonese, nor the flat bread sandwich. I got 2 glasses of italian red wine, not enough. The view was great ocean side from the patio. This is a strong point eating here for the view.
