Duff Brewery Beer Garden is such a fun stop, especially if you're a Simpsons fan. The whole place is perfectly themed, and sipping on a cold Duff beer while surrounded by nods to the show is just a good time. The beer itself is actually pretty solid, which makes it more than just a novelty. If you grew up watching The Simpsons (or still do), it's one of those spots that puts a smile on your face as soon as you walk in.

I loveeed this drink! I do have to say it can be a bit too sour though so I definitely recommend adding tajin or salt when they ask if you would like to add them.

Stopped by on Sunday, 04/20/25 to grab some drinks with my bf. Ordered the following: - 1 frozen strawberry margarita = $15 (with tajin rim which was an additional $1) - 1 Angel City Pilsner = $17 SUBTOTAL = $33 TAX = $3.22 TIP = $6.52 TOTAL = $42.74 (paid by my amazing bf) My margarita was extremely sour and sweet. Limiting seatings as well. Overall a great experience to drink at Universal - I've had sweeter and stronger margaritas and so the frozen strawberry one wasn't my favorite in my opinion. :(

What beverage, brewed since ancient times, is made from hops and grains? Go to the duff beer gardens and find out. The atmosphere here is great when the sun is setting. It's a nice place to sit down for a bit and drink a crisp duff beer. Beer itself is great, though it can be hard to find seating in the area. I really like the episode clips they play on the tv. You can really find yourself sitting here too long watching clips and feeling nostalgic

Cool experience. I wouldn't go all of the time because of the price. They don't have much of a selection, but really neat place to get off of your feet, and grab a refreshing drink. I had the Moscow mule, he had a Duff light. Our bartender was very nice, and we were also entertained by some drunken bumble bee's that were living it up, getting drunk out of the mixer cups.

Duff Brewery Beer Garden is a great place to relax mid-park. The Duff beer is light, smooth, and super refreshing -- ideal for a sunny day. Plenty of shaded seating and fun Simpsons theming make it a chill hangout spot. Quick service, great vibes. A must-stop for beer lovers at Universal!

ordered from here twice and i love how cute the decorations are. there's cute simpsons-themed hedges, food trucks and string lights all around we ordered the duff beer lights and they're always so good. i prefer my beers to be light and carbonated and it's always enjoyable. we like to get the beer and drink while we wait for the simpsons ride, and we'll be finished before we get on i've also tried the blue margarita and it's also delicious. it's not too sweet but also strong enough so well worth the money the price is average for alcohol (~$15 per drink) and they're not watered down or too sweet

Super yummy beer. few choices, i like the reg and the lite duff. i got the Duff mug an when you go back its less $, but its still a lot of $ , $15 for a 16 oz i think, but its always good and cold. grab some pizza or tacos from the near by places and sit and rela

I tried a Duff beer here more for the atmosphere than anything else. The Duff beer wasn't bad at all, rather refreshing on a hot day. You can get a disposable cup for $12 or pay an additional $2 and get the souvenir Duff cup. I got the souvenier cup. They only allow 1 alcoholic beverage per ID so I could not get my hubby's beer since I didn't have his ID. During lunch peak hour there is very limited seating. It seems like they are very short on available seating since the seating area is shared by the pizza place, the brewery, the taco shop and pretty much anyone else that decides to come and sit there. They have the Simpsons show playing on various T.V.s and you can appreciate the decor. I would try to visit here before or after lunch time to make it an enjoyable experience.

Great little place to drink and sit in some shade between rides! The beers are big, but they'll run you like $14. They have a decent selection, plus mixed drinks and micheladas/margaritas. They also have a little taco truck you can grab tacos or nachos.

Such a cute place. The beer was good the simpsons music was cute. The duff statues were cute. So to sum it all up... cute. Lol

Duff Beer is the alcoholic beverage of choice in Springfield, USA. In the Universal Studios Hollywood theme park I saw people enthused about this beer as they were with Butterbeer in Harry Potter World. Duff Brewery is located inside the beer garden that houses the common dining space for Luigi's Pizza and Bumblebee Man's Taco Truck. The entrance to the beer garden is decorated with the Seven Duffs, the mascot of Duff Beer and another cool photo-op. Among the three options there isn't much in the way of seating yet while the No1DP was buying lunch from Luigi's I managed to snag two seats at the bar of Duff Brewery. You have to be over 21 to sit at the bar itself and like all areas of the park, strictly enforce carding people. For multiple orders, 1 card equals one drink so you can't order a round for everyone in your party unless everyone presents ID. For non-Duff offerings there are a few brands of real-world beer sold such as Blue Moon. Additionally there are alcoholic frozen margaritas sold in a few flavors. Should you want a more traditional alcoholic beer they are a full bar and can make basic drinks. Three types of Duff beer are available. - Duff (American-style amber lager, flavor of caramel and roasted malt) - Duff Lite (Traditional Pilsner, smooth and refreshing) - Duff Dry (Toasted dark ale, full flavored, smooth & silky quality. Only available in bottle) I purchased a regular Duff to stake my claim at the bar seats. I took a few sips of it and thought it was quite bitter. For a non-IPA it's quite bitter but this may be due to the malt being too roasted to my liking. The No1DP got me a Duff Lite in a souvenir pilsner glass and found it smooth and refreshing. Considering it was a hot day and we were stuffing all sorts of hearty theme park food it was nice to be able to sip on a light beer! My only suggestion is that there should be a way to offer tasters of the three beers so more people can taste the full lineup of Duff Beer. Though the beverage itself is 3-star worthy, one of the managers noticed that I didn't finish my Duff beer. I told her my reason for purchasing the beer and she promptly replaced my beer with 2 qualities of higher-quality bottled water. This was such a good gesture and the bottled water ended up being much more useful during our visit.

They kept the food and drinks coming and frequently checked on us so kudos to them. Only obstacle was asking one of them a bunch of menu questions and food recommendations but he is vegan so had no opinions since most of the menu is meat. On to the food. The best things were the hummus/pita starter, and that's about it. The pretzel was ok but all 3 dips were not mustard based so lame. I ordered a half rack of pork ribs. While cutting them they squirted me which I thought was a good sign, but they had no flavor and basically no sauce. There is a fine line between charred and burnt and they started to cross the line, just tasted like burnt charcoal. I doused them in their original BBQ sauce and it actually made them worse; the sauce just tastes like liquid spice and also had no distinct flavor. Can't ruin fries... wrong! They were overly fried and any potato remnants had been cooked away. The coleslaw was not coleslaw, it was just chopped up purple cabbage, totally inedible. Some other food reviews from my coworkers. Fish and chips: dry Fried pickles: where are the pickles Miso cod: not good Bacon burger: also not good Chicken wings: you guessed it I also got one of 3 sour beer options, The Who Likes Orange Soda, which magically tasted like half sour beer half orange soda. It was ok but towards the end I just wished I had gotten a sour beer instead of an orange soda. Considering how poor the food quality is, I'd say the menu is wildly overpriced. The place has a chill vibe, so it's not a bad option to have a beer and watch some sports on TV, but I would highly advise eating before going so you are full and don't make the mistake of ordering food.

Thankfully the menu special that greeted me at the front door reaffirmed my choice that I should choose a burger. The Weekday Special from 12-3pm: Any Burger or Sandwich, Side of Fries or House Salad, and a pop was just $16. Plus, the bartender encouraged me that the burgers are really good. So the TAVERN BURGER with Impossible meat, a side green salad, and a lemonade needed no coin toss for me to be decisive. Ordering my meal at the bar was easy, there was no line, and service was quick. I loved that it was chill for a mid-week lunch hour. However, I imagine it gets busy later on in the afternoon and during a non-holiday week. Most of LA was already heading out to campsites for the 4th of July week from what it seemed. Outdoors, it had my kind of charm with its lush greenery, flowering blooms, rustic decor, and picnic-style benches that felt like you're in someone's backyard. I'm sure the big tree in the center helps make the twinkle lights amazing at night. As for drinks, there are plenty of beer choices on tap from Old Rasputin Stout to IPAs. Malbec and Opolo Zin looked enticing too. Since this is a Whiskey Tavern, there are lots of options ranging from low to high-end spirits to choose from.
