Typical sports bar. Waitresses in Daisey Dukes (get it?). They do offer a giant platter of boneless wings with cheesy fries and a pitcher for around $20. More than enough food for two big men. I've been here numerous times and this special is worth the trip alone. When it's not busy, the waitress seems to invariably forget about your table at times, as the people at the bars tend to get them hemmed up chit chatting. We have tried them in the past and they were marginal. But tonight it was horrible. We ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap and 8 wings and tater tots. It took over 30 minutes and I had to complain before we got our food. Then it was cold. Also the tots were sitting in grease. Went to dukes last night to listen to some good music and have drinks. The music was excellent. The only problem was the service. There was one of the waitresses that she kept sitting down at a table of friends and talking instead of caring for the customers. The other waitress was in the outer limits, she could not remember anything. She was terrible. I am done with this place, 3 strikes and you are done. I will go to beef obradys instead. Had a great first experience on 09/25/18 at lunch. $5.99 hamburger special (add $.69 for cheese) and side order---many sides to choose from. I had the sweet potato fries and they were awesome. Wish they would not have over cooked the burger but was still within my acceptable range. The server (Ivy) polite, efficient, sweet smile and did her job flawlessly. Use to go several times a week but my friends and I now eat at another local wing place because of how the manager Hilary treats the staff. I've never had a bad experience with any of the hostess, servers or bartenders that work there but just about every time I've went there the manager is cussing, insulting and threatening someone. My friends and I have also sat at the bar and on more than one occasion hear her talk trash about the staff to the bartender just to stir up drama. Looking at all the very low reviews I probably never would've tried dukes if I hadn't hsd a coupon that I'd received in the mail. That being said upon visiting dukes I give it a solid 3. The blackened bone in wings I had were cooked very well and served fresh from the fryer. My wifes boneless hot wings were lightly breaded and served hot and tasty also. The cleanliness of this place reminded me of a frat house though and a thorough cleaning by a commercial ckeaning company would help greatly. On a side note, even if your the manager and your brother shows up giving him a monster energy drink from the bar cooler probably isn't the thing to do. Especially when that isn't something that you offer to the public. The food was cooked well and served hot, the service was excellent also. This is a great place. First time coming here.! We were seated right away. Our servers Kristen and Ansley were attentive. Food was delicious. Wings were cooked to perfection and the black and blue burger was amazing with plenty of blue. Chris the manager was wandering constantly to make sure everything was running smoothly. We have been customers of Dukes for about a year. We go there almost every Tuesday night for Trivia. There have been many weeks we have eaten there about 3 times. Our kids love it. They love the staff. We became best friends with one of their former managers. We met her from being repeat customers. We went to trivia tonight like we do every other night. I text our friend the old manager and said hey when you get off come have a drink and finish Trivia with us! We're at the table eating and our friend walks in. She walks straight to our table and sits down. She never speaks to anyone, never roams the restaurant, never does anything out of line. Our 3 year old runs up to her immediately and loves on her and starts playing with her. He introduces her to his other friends at the table. Our 11 month old is clawing her way over to her as well. As she is sitting holding our 11 month old before a waitress even gets over to ask her about a drink someone approaches her saying they've been told to tell her she's not supposed to be there. She immediately texts the owner like hey what's up I was just told I'm not allowed on the property. He responds that he had just boarded a plane but it's not an issue. As she's sitting holding our 11 month old the district manager Marty walks out very aggressively trying to intimate and bully her telling her she's not allowed to be there. She responds I just told to duke the owner and he said it's cool. He proceeds with his calling the cops and walks off. At this point she decides it's easier to just leave. She passes the baby back grabs her belongings and heads towards the door without saying a word. Marty the district manager tries to proceed to follow her out the door running his mouth which prompts me to follow so she's not outside alone. After he tried to follow her out yelling and running his mouth. She decides to sit and wait for the cops. Not only did he cause an unnecessary and unwarranted extremely unprofessional scene in the building in front of customers for no reason he also wasted time of winter haven police officers. He was very aggressive, confrontational, trying to be intimidating and bullying. This should've never been an issue. We went from being very regular customers to being unsure if we shall return as long as duke continues to employ Marty. read more

Ya got me good Dukes. I really enjoyed the bone in wings last time and brought people back to try it. The wings were still good, but this time I had up charges on the bleu cheese,ranch dressing and get this one-3 sections of celery, wasnt even a full stalk.($.69 per item) Didn't pay these charges last time so they must be a new feature, but I surely didn't see them in the menu. When you order wings there, better check and see if they are charging to use the plates. All the other wing places include the dressings and celery, guess I will return to the old places .Not nice Dukes-makes for very poor customer relations. read more

Went here on Tuesday March 30th...won't be going back. I called in an order at 7pm (7:03 to be exact). Was told it would be ready in 45 mins. Arrived at Duke's at 7:43 (I know...I was 5 minutes early). I waited about 6 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. I asked about my to go order. Waited another 5 minutes before another waitress came by and asked if I had been helped. I waited a few minutes more. The waitress came back with my bill. She said they were working on it. It is now 8:03pm. Another waitress came by and asked if she could check on my order. I said yes, please...I never saw her again. I waited. Around 8:11pm I asked again. She took my bill and came back 3 minutes later with "they're still working on it ." I waited 5 more minutes. At 8:19, I told the waitress that came to the host stand to cancel my order. "Ok, bye!" was the response I got. If you go there, hopefully you have a better experience, because I won't be going there. read more

The outside patio is setup very nicely. We have gone there 4 times and have sat outside the last 3 times. If it wasn't for the outside patio we probably would of never gone back the last 2 times. We have ordered a appetizer the last 3 times. The first two times the food came out at the same time the appetizer did. So this time I asked if they can make sure that doesn't happen but when the main food came out about ten minutes after the appetizer the food was so cold it was not edible. So I can't see myself going there again unless the food preparations gets a overhaul. read more

My husband and I stopped in this place for the first time, and we will never ever go again. I had to choose 1 star but I would not have even given it that. I ordered the chicken ranch wrap and it had no ranch on it at all and it H as d zero flavor, onion rings were burnt Cole slaw was the worst, we had to ask for eating utensil cause they were never offered to us. The girls look like they are about 15 and all very pretty girls but come on ladies show a little class and not have the the cheeks of your rear end not hanging out of your shorts. It's a great place for men but not so much for women and it was not that clean. I didn't finish my meal and told the waitress that it wasn't very good so she removed it from the bill. went to dukes in winter haven recently, I asked for a burger and I said I do not want it overcooked, I told the server that twice , we were three of us there the bill came up to 61.00 . my burger came out so overcooked you could not even cut it with a knife . we also got garlic parmesan wings , guess you had run out of garlic they were tasteless. our server was busy talking to one of the 6 people in the whole place . never came to check on us . never again will we go there. an it took forever for out food to come out , I guess that was why my burger was so dried up . it takes a while to make a burger that bad. read more

Just left this place as quickly as I could after having 1 drink and my food. The food was okay - ordered a burger and fries - burger was okay but nothing special, came with about 7 fries which was incredibly disappointing. The rest is context on the ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE service received by the manager working on this particular night. On a Saturday night that had a few different live sports options, Dukes preferred to show all of the outlying sports instead of anything mainstream. There were some lesser UFC fights that were on, and and Rays baseball game - no problems there. Inter Miami and Orlando City were nowhere to be found, in addition to any other live MLS game. The NBA playoff game between the trailblazers and Lakers was also nowhere to be found. One of the transformers movies feat. Shia LeBouf was on one on the prime larger TVs over the bar as well as many other TVs around the restaurant. I asked the bartender if it were possible to switch one of the TVs to the NBA game and she said she would have to get the manager to change it - no problem. The manager came out to change one TV that was in front of me and after a few seconds remembered that this TV couldn't be changed. I pointed out the transformers movie showing on another TV that could be changed but she proceeded to change the TV directly over my left shoulder and then yelled at me asking "which basketball game didn't I want to watch I have 3000 to choose from??!!" I responded the NBA game on ABC. She changed this TV over to the game and then came to the bartender and said "don't ask me to change anymore TVs today!!" It wasn't an incredibly rude tone, but it was certainly not said in a joking manner. After the manager walked away the bartender looked at me and said " come back any other time she's not working and it's not a problem". When I turned back over my left shoulder to start watching the game, i realize that she had selected the SD option for the station instead of the HD option. This may seem really petty, but In the logo of Duke's it reads: Wings - Sports - Spirits. It doesn't make a difference to me if the wait staff or bartenders are sports fans, or even know the names of teams or players, but if you're going to have sports in the name as well as having plenty of TVs available l, it seems that if a customer makes a request that it should not be moving heaven and earth to make this happen. Again, no issues with the bar service, but the mediocre quality of food and the service of the manager I certainly won't be back. If this place employs someone with that attitude and mindset I have no desire to spend any of my hard earned money there. read more

if it was possible to give this restaurant 0 zero stars i would. you think if you pay $65 dollars for some chicken they could get the flavor correct right? well not right when it comes to dukes, i had to wait for over an hour to get it delivered and i asked for garlic parmesan and they gave me all hot. and when i called them hoping they could make it right they said i had to bring the platter there. i'm in my pajamas i don't want to go anywhere which is why i paid a 15 dollar delivery charge. so i returned it and they remade it and when i ate one it was so spicy i could barely swallow it. and all they did to make up for it was a $25 dollar gift card horrible service in my opinion. read more

This was one of the worst experiences at a restaurant that I have ever had. We were super excited about a new sports bar in the area but we will never go back. First off, it was very disorganized when we walked in. We were finally told it would be a few minutes for a table so we took a seat. Another family walked in after we had been waiting but the girl that seated us had walked away at that point and the three servers that were now at the hostess stand seated the new customers. When I told the waitress we had been waiting she yelled at me and told me they had been waiting longer, which was not true. When the original girl came back she apologized and we were finally sat at a booth by the same girl that yelled at us. We should have left then but we were very hungry. Well, apparently the girl that sat us did not let our server know that she had a new table and we waited very long time just to get drinks. The server was really nice though and she was the only saving grace about the whole ordeal. We ordered some wings and burgers. The wings were fine but the burgers were awful.
