The cucumber starter was super refreshing, the dumplings were perfectly cooked, and the ramen had deep, flavorful broth that tasted like it had been simmering all day. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and came out fresh. The ambiance is cozy and relaxed, service was friendly and attentive, and even with the crowd the wait was minimal. Definitely a must-stop if you're visiting Princeton and looking for great ramen and comfort food. -- Jeffrey Umaña IG: @jeffrey.umana

Most restaurants we passed were empty but this hole in the wall, below ground level restaurant had people and lots of energy. In fact, when we finished our dinner and left, there were people waiting for tables. The food was good and yes it's authentic but it's pricey for what it is. I ordered the Lanzhou noodles. It's good but the broth could have been more flavorful. It was a little watered down. The beef in the broth was delicious though. It's sliced beef but it tasted like short ribs. It's tender and meaty.

They do have other menu items besides dumplings and everything we've had has been delicious especially the shredded beef and pepper noodles (no soup) and any of the stir-fried udon noodle dishes. Definitely worth the drive to Cherry Hill to Nan Xiang.

Both felt like a warm hug. The scallion pancake w beef was tasty but it was overwhelmed by too much hoisin sauce + the pancake was a little greasy. The black sesame mochi and veggie soup dumplings were criminal. We forgave the dessert and terrible veggie soup dumplings and returned for a second visit to try more items so the new items we tried were: - chicken udon noodles (stir fry) - cucumber salad Both were mediocre and not worth getting. Cucumber salad lacked flavor. Udon noodles were plain and flavor was minimal. I would return for the beef noodle soup, the broth was rich yet light. The beef was so tender it melted in your mouth. If you have a beef soup craving this will hit the spot. Service was quick and consistent.

The main difference is the sogginess of the wonton skin or wrappings that encase the dumplings. Scallion pancake was good and extra crispy as ordered. Service was okay, had to point out an overcharge for an "American" special. Dining room was average. Would not come back.

For $17 plus tax ($20 pp) there are a lot to choose from. They advertised 50 items. My stomach could not handle that much but we gave it a go. The steam items were pretty fresh but the fried dim sum was not the freshest. Food 4/5 star worth noting they had my favorite dessert, water chestnut cake which isn't available in most Chinese restaurants. Service 4/5 star for a Chinese restaurant this is good. They're not known for their service. Cleanliness 3/5 Value 4/5 There's a 3% credit card charge if you don't pay with cash. This restaurant is known for their Peking duck but that's more of a dinner item. Also we just spent a month in China, part of that was in Beijing and they are famous for their Peking duck.
