Until now I'd have rated this store 4-stars. I come here to get toasted coconut donuts for my wife. Usually, but not always, they've had them available. This is a COVID-19 Review. Typical Dunkin' and that's a good thing. Everything inside has been moved to one side and you cannot linger for obvious reasons. They do have tables outside, with umbrellas where you can sit. But most customers just use the Drive-Thru. I however like to getting out of my car every so often and actually see and speak to people. (One of the downsides of this COVID pandemic). I mask up and carry a small sanitizer, while trying very hard not to touch anything with my barehand. Ugh. The employees are great and sincerely nice and friendly. So if you need to get out of your car for a "cough-fee" break, try coming inside. It's good and their bagel sandwiches might be even better. I chose my donut and said coffee. I got a little bit of an attitude because I didn't specify what kind of coffee I wanted and was asked, cold? Hot? With cream and sugar? Without? When it's past the morning rush and there is only one car being served at the window ahead of me and hardly any one at the store, I would expect a little more courtesy and patience. I needed a minute to decide what I wanted. After I said what I wanted and proceeded to the window, I was immediately given my order which was good. Fresh donut, tasted very good. Coffee smelled great too. I never had the chance to write a review a few years ago, but I had one of the best experiences in this location by a Manager when I ordered inside and for this reason, I will probably return to this location but I would definitely expect better customer service than what I had yesterday! read more

This place ruined my morning on two separate occasions, will not be back. First time: Ordered a multi grain bagel at 6:45am. They were out. OK what types do you have left? "None -- our Baker didn't show today." Second time: They had bagels so I ordered one lightly toasted with butter and it had a disgusting amount of butter. Maybe by "light" they thought I meant heavy? No napkins were initially included in my bag, thank god I asked for some otherwise the stream of butter that poured out of the wrapper when I took the bagel/wrapper from the bag would have ruined my new car had I not been able to clean it up quickly. Posting the photos showing some of the butter soaked napkins from my "light" butter bagel. Even not including the amount that poured out into my car it was still in a literal puddle of butter. I used all 4 napkins provided and 5 more from my glove box. I also ordered hash brows and asked for ketchup to be included but no ketchup was in the bag either. read more

I came here for the first time this morning and I was *completely* underwhelmed. If you like dragging your tongue across burnt asphalt, then you'd probably enjoy the coffee at this Dunkin Donuts. Otherwise, I'd avoid it at all costs. I used the mobile app (which was super easy to use) to order a hazelnut iced coffee and a turkey sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. The app is pretty neat because you can order and get it all set up, and when you're ready, click the "I'm ready to pick up" button. This lets the store know you're close and they start making your food. With the app, you can choose drive-thru or walk in as your method of pick up; I chose walk-in. When I got to the place, immediately I was given the side eye by the gal behind the register. I smiled, as you do, and went to the side to pick up my order. The employee looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but there. I didn't have any other interaction with anyone else there, but that look I got certainly made the tone of the place clear. My actual breakfast was... mediocre, bordering on gross. The sandwich was slimy and not put together well - - I couldn't even finish it. My coffee was *abominable*; it legitimately tasted like burned asphalt that was slightly sweetened. I took about 2 sips and threw the rest away. You're going to be busy from about 6:30 to 10 AM EVERY DAY, Dunkin. And yet - there are times when I've been stuck in the drive thru for 20+ minutes. A couple of times I've literally WALKED OUT of the restaurant because I've been waiting forever and, oh yeah, I have a freakin' job to get to. So much for a quick breakfast. Why aren't y'all EVER prepared for your *daily* rush?!? Half the time the order is wrong. Idk why "egg and cheese on an everything bagel" is a difficult concept to grasp but apparently it is because half the time my order isn't right (and I'm the dummy who drives away before checking). This most recent visit was particularly bad. They 1) got the bagel wrong, and 2) literally served me a frozen egg and cheese. I've attached a photo - you'll see the cheese is not even CLOSE to being melted. THATS BECAUSE IT WAS FROZEN. I'm not sure how Dunkin manages their specific locations. WOW, I guess this is pretty much the rock bottom of customer service, just what happens when young and poor mannered unprofessional humans are left in charge of operating a Donut shop. I guess they consider Delivery Drivers second class or something, or maybe it's because I am white, I have no idea in this messed up day and age any more. I had problems with this young male employee from the start as they were not able to accommodate my delivery order needs as they are supposed to, half the order items out of stock, correct cups not available, poor packaging, no bags available for large orders...I stopped them after not receiving straws for the order and not sealing all the boxes with sticker tape as they are required to do, all this is unacceptable, BUT THE WORST IS THE MALE EMPLOYEE TRYING TO START A PHYSICAL CONFRONTATION OR FIGHT WITH ME BY SHOVING THE BOXED ORDER INTO MY HANDS FORCEFULLY instead of politely handing them to me and apologizing for everything they were doing wrong. I guess you can never fix STUPID, so after I called him out on trying to assault me and being rude, I asked to see the manager, and a young female came up, told me to lower my voice, I told her what happened...then was told to leave. I told them I would be back with Scottsdale Police Officers to take an incident report soon, which probably was a big surprise to them when I made my report and left the Officers there to finalize the complaint.
