since covid-19 hours have changed, we went to dutch on 7/24 . We got in line around 6:56 , sat in the line for 10 minute when a worker came up to us and told us we came after 7 and that the car in front was gonna be the last order , we explained we clearly got there at 6:56 and still couldn't order . After that had to stay in line for another 25 mins , waiting and seeing others order . When we got up to the window a worker obnoxiously held up a peace sign and we left with no drink . read more

We're regulars here and stick with our usual coffee or tea, but the staff are more than happy to offer some suggestions from their expansive menu. Oh wow. I love Dutch bros. And this has nothing to do with the company or product itself. But whoever you had at the window at 735ish tonight was just not great. She spent around 5 minutes with the person in front of us talking of unrelated things even after the line was clear. Then spent about 35 seconds of her time helping us out. Which is usually not a huge deal. Then she made the time to go in after taking our order to personally serve the very same car in front of us. I just feel as though if you're going to have your friends pop by, maybe have them at the window so they don't impede your drive through traffic. Update- Tonight, we have been in the drive thru for over 25 minutes. It's 6:51pm and we are the third car in line. We started out in 6th place. 25 minutes, and you serviced less than 10 customers. I now see a trend. During the day, the service and speed is good. The evening is the worst coverage I've ever seen in a drive thru. I have never had to wait 20min in a drive thru, and for coffee no less. This is absurd. I cannot believe we are about to pay for this drink. This needs to change. We come here because it's delicious and convenient because we live so close. But I almost rather go without. And now, We have made it to the window, and there are 4 employees. 4 people, and 25 minutes with approx 10 customers. I went to Dutch brothers for the first time the other day. A post of a Dutch bros cup has became a social media icon just like a Starbucks pink drink! So I was all like hey, let me get it on this. I ordered a blackberry marmalade energy drink type thing. I don't really drink Red Bull normally but it tastes similar to that. I was greeted by a helpful millennial girl dressed in her best on trend forever 21 fashion and a smile from ear to ear, the employees are actually happy, could you imagine liking your job? I love Dutch bro's but this one just doesn't compare to any other Dutch.. the coffee is very weak tasting (not sure why it taste so different from other Dutch) & they aren't nearly as friendly as the other Dutch bro's I go to. Dutch was my life until I moved and this is the closes one to me. I've now found a different coffee shop but every now and again I come back just in case, maybe, it's better but nope. Always the same short what are you drinking conversation, okay step to the side so they can chat with some friends or mess around with the other employees and a few minutes later I get handed a drink that doesn't taste anything like my normal drink and it just weak tasting.. I love Dutch, and I've been an avid Dutch bros fan for quite a few years! I was so excited when this stand opened as it's in walking distance from my house. Now, I know that it's new, but these broistas need training, and they need it badly. I have yet to get my drink correct since opening day. Dirty chai without shots ("doesn't dirty mean whip?", no honestly they asked me this), double chocolate mocha without chocolate syrup, and most often.. All drinks ordered with almond milk, given without almond milk. Sometimes I can correct it right away, other times I can't, so I just drink it. I worry for those with allergies or intolerance who ask for alternative milk and don't recieve it! I've also seen so many people return to correct their drinks while I'm waiting for mine. A little girl recieved a rebel instead of a smoothie! (though I'm not sure if that was to do with the disorganized walk up system or not). I pay for Almond milk and extra shots and to never receive them is painful. read more

All I can say is WOW. I'm completely blown away at how big of a jerk the girl at the window was. My order was taken and read back to me, I ordered 2 LARGE drinks. The girl who took my order read it back correctly as 2 LARGE drinks. Once I got to the window my order was read to me again as 2 Large drinks. My mom was in the car with me and can attest to this both times. The first drink was handed to me and it was a medium, I kinda looked at it funny and the next drink was handed to me there was a clear size difference. I told the girl that the one drink that was a medium should have been a large and she looked at me like I was stupid, I told her we ordered a large and that it was ready back to us as a large by the first girl who took the order as well as her! She gave me a snarky "uh" and then told me that "I don't know what to tell you it was charged as a medium" I said that's not my fault, I asked for a large. She said "well I guess we can charge you for a large and make you a new one" I said again that I asked for a large to begin with, it was read back to me twice that it was a large, how was I supposed to know what you charged me for if what you read to me was wrong? She rolled her eyes at me, never apologized for the mess up and was not even about to fix my drink, which she didn't. I left with something I didn't ask for and the customer service is nonexistent apparently. I wish I could make sure that girl doesn't get the tip I left and it only goes to the girl who took my order. I will NEVER support this Dutch bro's again. Waited 24 minutes in drive thru line! I NEVER go to Dutch Bros Coffee because the line always seems ridiculously long. Today I had a few extra minutes and decided to try it. Girls taking orders ahead of time did a great job getting orders ready. They were friendly and informative. My complaint is the complete lack of urgency with the employee at the window! I listened to the 3 cars in front of me...keep in mind, people had already ordered and paid. All she needed to do was hand people their coffee and thank them. Instead she chit-chatted about her personal life with one car for 3 minutes. Another car she talked about how hot it is today and how busy they are (btw it is 81 degrees) for at least 2 minutes. She talked to the car in front of me for 5 minutes (I'm NOT exaggerating) about his rescue dog! When I got to the window, I expressed my frustration about the slow service in a polite manner, and she just said 'yeah we're real busy., yadda, yadda..." I had to cut her off and just asked to get my coffee. Yes, you need to be friendly, but get real! You have to expedite service! The fact that no other employee or manager recognized this and made a change tells me this is normal. The coffee is good and as I ordered. That's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. I won't be back to ANY Dutch Bros Coffee until I hear that changes will be made to respect each customers' need for quick service. read more

It was a Sunday afternoon when I visited this Dutch bros stand (usually I go to the one in downtown Gilbert cause they make me feel like I'm one of their good friends and maybe I'd have a chance with the cute ones (boys girls I don't care.)) But I digress, I was in the area showing my grandson around chandler mall. He did not enjoy the play place as I had hoped. I just wanted to hit the H&M blowout sale before that store tanks. But I digress. I was waiting in line for a good hot coffee of the Dutch variety cause I know they have that here. When the girl with the tablet approached my window she said something like "hey welcome back to my blog" I don't know what that means, but it seems aggressive. I didn't mean to be in her blog. I ordered my big coffee and a coffee for my grandsons too. There are two of them. When I got up to the window I realized she had gone up into the booth thing to greet me again. She gave me a cold coffee, can you believe it? A cold coffee? Who does that. I said, my coffee is cold. She then took my coffee back and dumped it all over herself saying "refreshing" boy if you could believe it. Then I got my coffee hot coffee and drank it down in one gulp so that she might be impressed but then she said "welcome back to my blog again" what in the hell. Anyways. Unfortunately after going to Dutch for a long time this is the absolute worst experience I had this morning at this new location. They have 2 lines in the drive-through and with that they should be able to manage them. Pulling in to get an iced tea this morning there was nobody in one lane and about 3 cars in the other lane so I waited patiently and somebody came up to the car from the staff 1 time and said she was taking somebody else's order and shall be back that was fine with me no problem. Then someone came up from the staff again and said that we needed to move back, reverse the car literally so that person could go in front of us ! this is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard of. If someone can't wait an extra minute for their coffee then there's a problem this was mishandled by the staff and the stupid person in the car complaining. Asking cars to reverse so other people can go in front of them is ignorant and very dangerous I've been very disappointed with them lately but this really took the cake on everything they need help and like I said, if they can't handle two drive-through lanes of cars with one building then don't have it or block off the other lane! This is a chain and things are and have been a mess since they opened so I hope they correct it. read more
