Lesson learned on my part. Paid by credit card with one of the walking employees taking orders. Once I arrived at the window, the male barista said my credit card transaction did not go through as they are having issues with their credit card system. I am gullible as I have three young adult and so I paid for my order a second time for my order. Unfortunately on May 17 I have 2 charges on my credit card and spend a few moments with my credit card company to dispute my second charge. Shout out to Lichen Dutch Bros staff!!! Speedy service this morning, friendly faces! I ordered the seasonal Shamrock Kicker this morning (Friday) and noticed when it was being handed over that it looked lighter than normal. Even the broista was like, "are we sure this is it?" We shrugged it off since it was confirmed that it was mine. I got to the light and had my first sip- something was off. It was not blended, it was chunky... So weird. I hated being *this* person, but I got back into the line and expressed my concerns - that I have had the shamrock kicker before and it was usually darker, not chunky, and tasted amazing. The guy (who originally took my order) agreed and said "oh yeah, that doesn't look right. Possibly the carburetor." I apologized being *that* person, that I usually wouldn't get back in line for something so ridiculous and he laughed it off saying, "no problem at all! We WANT you to enjoy your drink! Especially on a Friday morning!" I was pushed back through the line and met with the guy in the window again and got a brand new drink, handed back in the old... The new drink was PERFECT. I really appreciate the credit I was sent... but it came with a generic letter. I just didn't feel like a generic letter from their customer service reps didn't match up with how horrible I was treated. They should've apologized specifically for how I was treated. I'm not looking for more of a credit... but maybe at least knowing that this location will be talked to and some type of action is taken. Not a termination, but talked to about assessing situations better. I was not looking for a comp... just my reward I earned by using the app. They even checked my i.d. and could see my "half birthday" did pass (the reward I was trying to redeem) and were so cold about why I had not collected (if some of you haven't seen my check-in, my father passed away recently and i didn't go get my half birthday reward fast enough.) I have had good experiences at this location.. I even come by on Christmas day and tip generously because I am thankful for the Dutch Bros team being there for our crazy Dutch Bros needs... Since this store opened, I've tried this place more than enough times and my drinks just have not tasted right or what I am used to. I love Dutch Bros for their super strong coffees. I used to drive an hour to work and would pick one up on the way to work almost daily (depending on if I was running late or not and how long the line was when I drove by). I usually went to the Citrus Heights location, Orangevale location or the Sacramento (Auburn) location. The coffees were consistent no matter which one I went to. The Lichen one is closer to my house so I've been frequenting it on Saturdays, thinking maybe it's a glitch. Perhaps it'll be good the next time... same disappointment each time no matter what drink I got, secret menu or not. They've been tasting watered down at this location and I am not getting the kick I'm used to. I'm not sure if it's just this location or if the recipe has changed. The first time we tried it, we didn't know what to order cuz there were so much to select from. Honestly whatever I ordered, it reminded me of DD's drink. I love this Dutch Bros location for two reasons--the employees and it's a 2 minute drive from my house LOL. I don't know all of the employees by name, I should but I do know Dillon's name and he has the best realest attitude around, I love his energy, but all of the employees are great with great attitudes and I need to get their names so I can give them a shout out, too For travelers, this location is literally right off the freeway. It's an easy exit and very easy to get back on the freeway regardless if you're going eastbound or westbound. It's also open 24 hours. Truck Drivers: this shopping center has a large parking lot and would be easy enough to pull into at night time to park and get a coffee, but it'd definitely be more difficult during the day. read more

Love some dutch bros.From Roseville and was glad to see one open here in Citrus Heights off the freeway. They have (DB's) the best drinks and are consistently good. Have to try the blended rebels which are my fave and so many different flavors to choose from... and on the coffee side the mochas are always great but my favorite is the Kicker... and with every DB's they all have the best customer service... staff is always so friendly and go out of their way to help. I normally have a pretty regular experience at this Dutch bros but today we completely got skipped in line due to lack of attention from a worker wearing a red sweatshirt, and wouldn't have ever got our order taken if I didn't nearly holler at the other young lady taking orders (who was not at fault). Personally idgaf if your the only person taking orders. Your job is to provide customer service and be vigilant. Not be rude when something is brought to your attention it's called taking accountability plain and simple. Came to this location after they just open up, did a drive through for my order, as i got to the drive through window there's was a girl trying to take my payment and another girl in the back making drinks and as I look inside I saw that girl that was making the drink sip on one of the drinks she making for the next order I believe, look like some kind of chocolate drink, I should of say something to her about it but I didn't , I just drove off after getting my order, since then i never go to Dutch Bros again, it just fucked up my mind!
