I told the barista that I was looking for a drink with a vanilla and caramel flavor profile and this drink was recommended to me. And now, it's my go-to drink whenever I stop by Dutch Bros Coffee. The service has always been great from start to finish. The baristas are super friendly and know what they're doing. I will say there was one time where my bf had ordered a Chocolate Milk with banana and caramel flavors and the caramel was honestly non-existent. I'll call that a fluke since all other times, the drinks were made to perfection. I also did try the Golden Eagle and unfortunately, it didn't hit the spot for me. I very seldom have a bad experience at a Dutch Bros. For as long as the lines are they do good. I do wish the consistency of the flavor of the midnight drink and color was more consistent from store to store, but the customer service makes up for it. This was my first Dutch experience and it went very smoothly! I stopped by for my birthday because I had heard they give you a free drink. I ordered a large OG Gunny Bear Lemonade. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. My cup even had a little birthday note on it which was very sweet. I would definitely be back if there weren't always like 20 cars in line ... So of course I figured I would actually write a review now about my recent trips.. Employees are definitely much more chattier here, over the other locations I've been too. One night we sat in the drive thru for about ten minutes. The employee was flirting with the guys right in front of us. She didn't even say sorry or anything when we pulled up. They apparently don't do puppachinos here, and we were just given a milk bone when I asked for one. (Yes I'm that one person that asks for a treat for my furry friend) Puppachino = small cup with whip cream with a milk bone for your dogs. A few days ago we stopped by again and we were able to hear the employee interrogate the car in front of us. He literally asked them everything about their work life. (Where they work, what time, what's their favorite thing, who works there) The employee was getting waaaaaay too personal. Drinks of course are always good and the flavors all stay pretty consistent. Definitely my least favorite Dutch I've ever been to. Bummer. I was in the area and was excited to see one was close. The building itself is huge and looks like you're able to walk inside which is rare for Dutch down in the valley. The parking lot was tiny and the drive thru lane was kind of confusing with no real direction. It was also so short. I can't imagine the chaos it would bring when busy. I had to go through an office lot and turn around to make sure what I was doing. Service however was awesome and as great as I have come to know. Both guys were friendly and made it easy to chat. The shift lead seemed annoyed when he took my order and when I asked a question about the app he gave me a shrug, laughed and a looked at me like I was dumb for asking a question about a promo. Dutch Bros coffee originally started here in Phoenix- even though they've expanded across the west coast and I've visited before, I was told it was necessary to stop by when in town. This location in particular is stupid busy- the drive thru line stretched around the building, out the parking lot, and down the street, obstructing traffic. I'm told this is normal. Their menu is pretty straight forward, over-sugared coffee drinks with a few snacky food options. Their secret menu can be found online, with drinks like the Ninja Turtle (chocolate and mint with caramel). I tend to stay away from such caloric concoctions, but tried a tea thinking it would be a safe choice- it is still flavored and sweetened with something (raspberry?), so consider yourself warned if you're a purist who appreciates the taste of actual coffee because it's hard to find here. Service was friendly, but when your lines are that long, you need to be faster rather than striking up a five minute conversation with each transaction. They seem to have a lot of staff, but efficiency is not their strong suit. read more

He was super kind and explained to me the various options, which by the way are endless. He was so nice and professional that that alone made my first experience here amazing. While my friend and I were pulling up to the window to get our drinks, I saw a blonde, female employee making my drink on the evening of November 3rd, 2020 at approximately 7:15 pm. She put the lid on it, and proceeded to pour some of my drink into another cup, and then drank it. First of all, with COVID being a current health concern, it does not seem appropriate for her to be removing her mask in the front while preparing drinks, and then drinking it. Secondly, why was some of my drink dumped out for her to drink? I'm disappointed and baffled. This isn't my regular location, and I won't be returning. I did add a star for the customer service from a darker male employee. He was absolutely delightful while taking payment and handing our drinks to us. read more
