While my friend and I were pulling up to the window to get our drinks, I saw a blonde, female employee making my drink on the evening of November 3rd, 2020 at approximately 7:15 pm. She put the lid on it, and proceeded to pour some of my drink into another cup, and then drank it. First of all, with COVID being a current health concern, it does not seem appropriate for her to be removing her mask in the front while preparing drinks, and then drinking it. Secondly, why was some of my drink dumped out for her to drink? I'm disappointed and baffled. This isn't my regular location, and I won't be returning. I did add a star for the customer service from a darker male employee. He was absolutely delightful while taking payment and handing our drinks to us. read more

Dutch Bros is THE SPOT! I follow them on Instagram and had been dying to try it! I still hadn't tried this place since moving here 6 months ago. I used to work at culinary dropout and everybody used to talk about it all the time! I recently went to go get my nails done and one was next door so I decided to stop in with my fiancé and grab a drink. I ordered an Irish cream coffee oh my goodness it was the most amazing taste ever and the girl that was working the front recommended it to me. She was a blonde with glasses kind of young, I'd say about 19, she was really friendly and so was the guy who rang me up they even gave me a free sticker I will definitely be back to grab more fun stuff! Wow this place gets packed and the drive thru was insane!! Decided to stop by before heading back to Cali because I've heard so many awesome things about Dutch bros! It did not disappoint!! Although the line stretched out into the streets, the service was incredibly fast. The Caramilizer (Mocha with caramel) was soo good! It had the right amount of sweetness and it had that strong coffee taste that I like so much. It was perfect. The kicker (Irish cream) was just as good and refreshing if you like that extra sweetness to your coffee. Received nothing but awesome service here by the gals and guys behind the counter and don't let the line at the drive thru fool you! in my experience, It goes really fast! read more

Excellent customer service! The wait was long but the service made it worth the wait. My dogs enjoyed the pup cup and treats.

My favorite Dutch Bros. The staff is friendly and their smiles actually seem genuine. That's the whole point of the friendliness of Dutch Bros, right? To help you have a better day and want to come back and get more and more caffeinated. It probably doesn't hurt that this is a newer location. I'm not a fan of how the drive thru is setup but that's easily forgiven by the super cool building design and set up at this particular location. read more

I'm by no means a regular at Dutch Bros and even though this location is the closest to home, I'm not there nearly often enough for the crew to get used to seeing me. All this to say... These people there are top notch (whoever's teaching them customer service should teach other companies too). The drinks are always very good. I've never had to ask for a remake. WARNING: People with FOOD ALLERGIES: Posting on behalf of my wife and daughter. Simply said, do not trust this location if you have a food allergy. For a 3rd+ time, this location messed up our order for coconut milk with chocolate (for a 4 year old child who has a dairy allergy). Not just cross contamination from a spoon used in both dairy and non-dairy drinks (which we've also experienced multiple times) but a complete disregard for the careful order. They used regular 2% and added "extra chocolate" which was not ordered. Note: the order was made not once, but twice, and confirmed by the team member taking the order. I'll spare the explicit details as to what happens to someone with a dairy allergy who is directly exposed to dairy, but let's just say, it's not good. Immediately after exposure she became extremely ill. And, sadly enough the effects (eczema, rash, hives, etc.) will last long into the holiday weekend (usually 1-2 weeks). After the first two times, we addressed the situation at the store. The store manager refunded the drinks and apologized. People make mistakes. We get it. However, after a third time (not counting the cross contamination instances), we felt compelled to spread the word a bit more. We've contacted the corporate office via email, spoken with the manager, and team member that made the drink. Something needs to be done at this location in terms of allergy training, etc. Consider yourself warned. read more

And while I don't typically review chains, I will make an exception for Dutch Bros. because I don't know anyone who doesn't like these folks. Dutch Bros. is officially everywhere! They opened a new location in the west valley near where I use to live. They have a location near my current home. And now I see them "on my way" no matter where I am headed. This morning, I had to indulge at their location north of downtown Gilbert. What is great service? It's people who, no matter how busy they get, do their job and do it well. And quickly! And with a smile! Speaking of busy, have you noticed the line in a Dutch Bros. drive thru? Ever counted the cars? And then, look at how many people are at the walk up window. I love the fact you can go to Dutch Bros. and ask for a "large coffee" and no one looks at you sideways. I also appreciate that every person you speak with is super friendly and has a genuine smile. In town visiting for the Thanksgiving holiday and this place was close to my Airbnb and came here every day. Everyone that works here is so nice so friendly and the coffee is delicious. I ordered cafe latte every day which was excellent except once got the cinnamon roll coffee but didn't love it. However a work colleague urged me to give their Keto (Americano + heavy whipping cream) Coffee. So I did. - long line - slow service - they gave me the wrong order. I don't normally go to this location but over the last few weeks I have found myself there twice. Both times awful experience. Both times they got my order completely wrong, will offend "refund" then charge me for the correct drinks at the window. Which is great in theory if you are actually getting the refund. But I have found myself paying for 4 coffees, only receiving 2 and dealing with the head ache of correcting their incompetence. Also the workers are sooooo nice and I was amazed by the kindness of the employees and the great service bc it was towards the evening and there was a big line and they still remained so energetic and kind and made sure I took a sip and loved my drink before walking off which was so nice. Driving in the Gilbert area and stopped by. The building looked like an old Jiffy Lube...and we thought, ooohhh double drive-thru; the line will move much faster....we were tricked, LOL. Double drive-up lane, but it merges into one window. Joke was on us, I've seen this before at the Dutch on Central and Camelback, not sure why it skipped my mind. I moved to Gilbert from Boise, Idaho not too long ago. I had a regular Dutch shop in Boise & had my regular Dutch employees. I expressed to Sam how much I missed home and that they always knew when I came through. Sam has really made an effort to remember my name and my order. He makes Arizona feel a little more like home. I complained to this store with an email review here at Dutch brothers. The service was poor and I paid a premium for extra soft top and rather than giving it to me the lady decided to argue with me it was drawn out and I made a big deal about it and I finally got the order right. I was so frustrated about the service I had received that I had contacted them regarding this matter and was told that they would get back to me. The gal running the line at the same time was just so dang sweet!! I had never been here and did the walk up counter because I was on my bike. Menu is very small so I got a mocha. It was just a lot of chocolate milk with a little coffee. It was okay but I expected a rich coffee flavor with a hint of chocolate. I also expected a bigger menu like maybe some coffee with caramel. I got a chocolate chip cookie which was okay but didn't have chocolate chips in it and had sea salt on top. I think it was something else. Then as I was leaving I saw a sign that said for full menu you have to go to the website. Guess if I ever come back I'll know in advance what I want. Music was really loud but the guy taking the order could hear me. Not a place for older people unless you know what you want. I think I'll stick to Starbucks for chain places. In Gilbert I usually go to Bergies but they close at 2:00. read more

Awesome place for some "coffee"-esque treats. I wouldn't say it replaces a normal coffee place like Starbucks however Dutch Bros has some pretty decent coffee. One downside of Dutch Bros is the business of the place however I feel they do a pretty good job at accommodating the people waiting in line by having some take your order before you're actually at the register! I had just gotten some sad news about my grandmother passing and needed to get out of work for some fresh air. The employees at this location could not have been more kind. The person taking my order showed genuine concern and empathy and could tell right away I was having a hard day (despite my beat efforts to mask it). It has become progressively less worth it to come here over the years. I live RIGHT next to the place, I should be able to get a coffee in less than 10 minutes, that's kinda the whole point of a coffee joint that is primarily a drive through, it should be drama free and fast. Every single time I visit there is traffic out in the middle of the road. You can't enter in through the corresponding neighborhood even though thats the direction I'm coming from, so I have to go out of my way to get onto Gilbert Road to make a right turn into Dutch Bros because if you try to make a left turn in, the people who are making the right turn get to cut in front of you because they are the ones blocking traffic. I once went and had FIVE cars who were there after me get into the line before me. So its either go a mile out of your way to make the right turn even though I live RIGHT THERE or get a bunch of people who get there after me in front of me because I'm taking a left. In addition, everytime I decide to park and get out of the car to avoid the traffic drama, the place is packed wall to wall. No social distancing or masks for some people. The indoor people get served much slower than the cars, it definitely faster by car. It's definitely frustrating because there is nothing wrong with the place itself, but I think its fair to give a negative review because I have literally given up on going there EVER again. There is no time its not packed. They need to increase employees, or expand, open another location, SOMETHING because it is absolutely not worth waiting 30 minutes for a 7 dollar coffee read more
