On April 7th, 2017 my sister and I stopped by to get a rebel before our road trip. It appeared that it was super hero day or something because all the workers were dressed up. All was well, we got out drinks and hit the road, until toward the bottom my sister sucked up a long blonde thick hair. We were both disgusted but I thought "why would there be more than one?" so I continued to drink it and to my surprise there was another one. I have been to this location on multiple occasions and usually have a decent experience. The lines are long but that's to be expected and usually it goes by pretty quickly if it is organized. Unfortunately I just left an incredibly unorganized line, workers who obviously didn't care, and a coffee with burned espresso shots. We were in line for a good 30 minutes, to pull up to the window and have someone spill our coffee and not offer a smaller size since she had spilled a good portion. Along with the coffee being lukewarm and not even taste good because of burned espresso. I waited 25 minutes in the line to get a coffee. And then, when I got to the window, the little twit at the window kept calling me "Sweetie". Yuck!!!!!! That will be the last time I ever go to that store. I have driven by many times wanting to stop, but the line was as bad as today, and I don't have a half hour of my life to waste for coffee. The line at this place is always so long and the employees, although very friendly, take forever. You can't go here if you are in a hurry. Also, the coffee does not taste like it is very good quality. If you order a drink with enough sugar, it will mask the cheap coffee that is used. read more

I'll start by saying I absolutely love Dutch Bros! Super friendly and always amazing coffee. This Dutch Bros though.. Firstly, it's confusing from the start, trying to figure out where the drive threw begins and ends is just impossible. So, we went to the walk up. We spent more than 20 minutes in line as we watch the drive threw line, that seemed like it was wrapped around the building, drive right threw. Watching the line build up with over 10 cars and pass threw about 3 times. Then right before getting I get to the window I watch the customer in front of us take a drink of her coffee and then ask for whip on top of the part she just drank off of. The barista did it and she licked it off. It was the most unsanitary, grosses thing I've seen at any coffee shop. As we finally got to the window, I order a 6 shot large carmelizar and my friend ordered a normal medium carmelizar.... after the girl at the window chatted our ear off for another 3 minutes or so, she hand over 2 medium carmelizars, one with 5 shots. I ask about the size and she asked me if the cup is a medium size... she made it, shouldn't she know what size the cup is? I put the drinks next to each other and said see same size.... she then tells me well there's still 5 shots in it... I ordered a 6 shot carmelizar. She pores the one she just made into a large cup, adds milk, and hands it to me... when I say what about the shot. She told me she was mistaken there is "only dubs in the drink".... what ever that means... what ever, the drink is sweat and not right. It took like 30 minutes just to get coffee and the people that work there do not know how to multitask and be a team... did I mention there was 3-4 people working drive threw and 1 person working walk up... probably why the drive threw was flying... won't ever go back to that Dutch Bros. read more

Not all Dutch Bros. are created equal. Just saying. The downtown Gilbert location vibe is always positive and energetic. They have a $.50 discount if you bring a student ID (which adds up when you have a teenage daughter that is addicted to Rebels). Not every location offers a student discount. Even though the line gets absolutely crazy, it is always worth the wait. No complaints! read more

I absolutely hate coming here. It takes so long. Even with the runner system I still wait forever. There's this one girl I Who absolutely can't stand. If I described her everyone would know exactly who she is. Based on the piercings, tattoos, and hair she has. She calls everyone not so cute little pet names. I understand it's out of kindness. But it's extremely unprofessional.I'll be in the car with my boyfriend. And I'll be by the window and she'll be talking right past me calling my boyfriend "sugar" "honey" "sweetie." Like who do you think you are? This makes me so irritated. And they're supposed to talk to you and start up a conversation with you while you're waiting for your coffee. But i've had multiple people stare at me really talk but not listen to me. for example. I was in sweatpants and a baggy T-shirt. And my hair was in extremely messy bun. Some guy asked me "so what are you doing today?" And I said nothing. I'm off today. I'm having a lazy day. right when he handed me my coffee he says "okay well I hope you have a great day at work." I dont even want to give this place a one star it is that bad!!!! I am sooo tired of waiting 20 mintues with only 4 cars ahead of me and they STILL get my order wrong ..each time I think maybe this time it will be better but no every single time I am continually disappointed and my day is ruin because I cant even enjoy my drink since I dont even want to wait yet even longer for them to remake it so I have to take it home and fix it ..well no more!!!! I will continually tell everyone I know that enjoys dutch bros to stay away from this one in particular ..drive farther it will be worth it and you can still be back before you would get your drink here. Waaaaaay too pricey! It's a cash hog . Don't get me wrong , The coffee is good but it's not worth the price. It's only worth going there if you have a coupon otherwise be prepared to pay big bucks! Me and my friend usually go to another dutch and we decided to go to this one there was only about 6 cars by the time we get to the window our drinks come out and they tasted like butthole. I got a ice raspberry rebel and they added about 400 shots of sweetener in it my friend got a blended rebel and was very dissatisfied we usually love this company:-( read more

I've been here a few times to get a coffee, just plain coffee, and it's not good. I realize most people come here for liquified birthday cake in a cup, so if that's your thing feel free to disregard my review. Also, while I appreciate friendly staff at most places, the staff here is artificially hyped up to an astonishing degree. It's like wandering into a frat party where everyone just discovered cocaine and decided to chase it with trucker speed. Prepare to have more forced conversation than a Guantanamo interrogation. I was surprised the dude who served my coffee didn't get into my lap while I was waiting, and I think he may have performed a colonoscopy while he was deep into my personal space. read more

Where should I start??? Music blaring, baristas dancing, jolly, always upbeat! I gave up my Starbucks coffee a looong time ago even before Dutch Bros. got closer to my house..There's nothing fantastic about Starbucks, you can taste the commercialization with every sip you take! I typically drink tea but occasionally I will get a hankering for an iced, creamy coffee (especially today when I need the coffee buzz)..So I decide to go out of my comfort zone and seek out a place that does cold brew (supposed to be healthier and blah blah). I go to a place down the street (review up next), and order an cold brew coffee. Long story short it was like drinking ice water with vanilla/caramel syrup through a straw. I immediately drove to Dutch Bros. to get my fix and had to share with the barista how I had cheated and would never do it again. Dude gave me a free coffee! Who does that??? Dutch Bros., that's who! I loved them before that but just adore them now. You can go there in a bad mood and instantly get lifted...their energy is contagious! Ingredients are true, and everything I have tried, I've loved. I use to LOVE this Dutch, I came here all the time, my drinks were always delicious and the workers were so personable.. now the employees try to get you through the line as fast as possible, they have no personality at the window and they are constantly messing up my order and when I try to correct it they aren't friendly about it... super sad... I love the coffee and I've gone nearly everyday for years. I go to this one nearly everyday for the last several months. I guess what they say is true that one person can ruin it all for you. Will not return to this location again. I always bring my two small dogs (each about 15lbs or less) with, everyone else that works here knows not to pet the one because I've told them that he gets scared and barks, yet time and time again one of the baristas tries to and gets mad at me that he won't let him pet him without barking. Today he stated to me "If my dog acted anything like that I would get rid of him" and I said "Wow, really" then he told me "Yep absolutely" and continued to ask "Well you have your drink right?" Very condescendingly. For someone who goes every day to this location I'm blown away by the attitude I just experienced as a normal customer. I understand that it's in Dutch Bros nature to be friendly but if I'm regular and bring my dogs along for a ride and have said time and time again to this employee and to the others, not to try to pet my dog because he gets scared, I don't see why this one cannot just respect my wishes. This comment was unnecessary and I will never return to this location again. I'm truly blown away. I've been a huge supporter of Dutch Bros coffee for about 5 years and to have an experience like this, feels like a huge slap in my face.
