I finally decided to try Dutch brothers. I hear people rave about it but I'm now wondering what all the hype is about?? I used the walk up window and the guy was up there having a personal conversation with a buddy. After about 10 minutes (not exaggerating) he finally made the guy his coffee. When I got to the window he didn't even apologize. Which sucked because it was 107 degrees. My bad I guess for not using the drive through. Then I get my coffee and it was weak and watered down. Not sure what the hype is?? I may never know. Ps. The guy also tried to sneak the tip onto the total. I was a server and I know how to add. I put "no tip" but you can bet your booty I will be watching my bank to be sure I don't get ripped off. read more

Listen. I enjoy their coffee. But it really should NOT take 17 minutes from the moment I pull in to the drive thru to the moment I leave... just to get a cup of coffee. I timed it. The car in front of me spent two minutes and 40 seconds talking to the cashier BEFORE even giving her cash to pay for her coffee. And that was because the cashier was asking about her nails. "OMG! I LOVE your nails!! Are they REAL?!?" "No, but don't they look good?" "They DO!!" "I got them done at so and so!" "OMG Where is that located??" Are you freaking kidding me? Just.....no. I understand some people appreciate the level of energy and enthusiasm the Dutch Brothers staff exudes. Maybe they should have 2 drive thru lines. One where they can get all the compliments and socialize and shoot the breeze with the staff when they have nothing else going on and can spend 17 minutes doing all of that. I will give them one star because of the following reasons: 1) very long lane; unlike other Dutch Brothers they try to be productive and make the line shorter by taking orders at the lane so their coffee is ready by the time they are in window) 2) you see some of their (4) employees are just standing laughing and talking. 3) 30 minutes wait is terrible to get my coffee!!!! 4) counting the staff working u would think they will not be as bad as it is at this time. read more

Coffee tastes even better when it's served with amazing customer service! As many Dutch Bros spots offer the personal touch with their staff, my husband and I come back to this location every Sunday specifically because of the people. Of course, the coffee is amazing with a large selection of flavors! Their cold brew is very rich and smooth. They even have a Keto cold brew so it's definitely a plus. Ask for some pup cups as well if you are bringing your little fur babies. I have seen long lines for this location, but we normally drive in on Sunday mornings and usually head through pretty quickly. read more

It's like crack. Only better. Dutchbros is pretty dang good. Originating in Oregon where they use local umpqua dairy products, I was a little skeptical about the quality here at first. They very pleasantly exceeded my expectations. I had a smoothie, and the chocolate milk (not a coffee fan) and seriously the chocolate milk is amaze balls. Get a shot of Carmel in the milk and it was soooo dang good. All the people that work here are awesome, I like that they come out and take your order now while you're in line to help speed up the process. I just thought one of the cute girls that works here was coming to hit on me with her phone out. One of the SLOWEST Dutch Bros in the Phoenix area. Employees are not concerned at all about their speed or customers who may be in a hurry. Even when there is a slow line be prepared to wait awhile for your coffee. Definitely would recommend going to a different location or somewhere else if you want your coffee quickly! read more

All Dutch Brothers places are good. I've yet to have a bad experience. Expect highly concentrated coffee with good vibes. I get the Carmelizer with almond milk given my lactose intolerance. The service here is top notch. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and the drive through line moves pretty fast. Unfortunately, my large iced Annihilator tasted very watery, bitter, and had a strange sour taste to it. The amount of coffee they give you is impressive though for a large. Yes, you will likely have to wait 15-20 minutes to get your drink. The overly caffeinated enthusiastic millennial staff are encouraged to engage in adding positivity to your day even though this adds to the transaction time and long lines. However, the espresso drinks are sooo good it's worth the journey and experience. I am a devoted fan of the Iced Kicker (espresso, half and half, irish cream syrup). I am also pleased with the expanded pastries offered. While I always enjoyed the chocolate chip muffin tops, I fell in love with the limited edition red velvet whoopie pie like cakes. What a friendly staff! I love how they asked us what we are up to today. Starting a conversation while waiting for our coffee, plus our wait was not that long. Now that's an excellent service! It's my first time here, the kicker was a hit! I love how it's not too sweet. We also got the strawberry smoothie which is really good too, I think they put real fruit in it. (Ill ask next time). I've tried the Starbucks kind but it was way too sweet for me. I'm not a big fan of the caramelizer though, again because it was too sweet. It's ok it's my time. If you live in Gilbert, they mailed out some coupons last month because they have a new location. My boyfriend could have spent $13 but he paid $7 with a dollar tip. read more

I have been meaning to try Dutch Bros. for some time and was excited when this location opened so close to my house. I hadn't stopped yet because the line of cars is always very long and I didn't want to have to wait forever for a cup of coffee that I wasn't sure I'd like having never been to a Dutch Bros. before. I was pleasantly surprised to find that while I was in line a guy was running outside to all the cars to get orders ahead of time to cut down time we had to spend in line, when I told him I hadn't been there before he said he would run in to grab a paper menu. (He didn't end up bringing one but the line was moving so fast that by the time he came back out I was already at the menu at the drive through) I ordered the Caramelizer with an extra shot. The extra shot balanced out the sweetness otherwise I think it might have been just a tad too sweet, next time I'll just order it with one less pump of flavor or something. The lady that took my order at the window was very friendly and when I mentioned that I had never been there before she gave me a stamp card that was fully stamped with the exception of one stamp and a bunch of coupons. I will absolutely be returning here. The coffee and service was delightful, not to mention the icing on the cake - my coffee with an extra shot was still about a dollar less than the usual coffee I get from Starbucks! read more

I have been going to this Dutch for over a year almost every week if not multiple times a week, and they have seriously tanked on their drinks as well as order efficiency. Every time I have gone there over the course of 2/3 months the drinks are so bad and they always mess a drink up or haven't rang in the order properly. I live 3 min away and won't be returning to this location. It makes me sad because I used to go every day before work :( I would give them one star but this used to be my favorite location. read more

The coffee taste great and gets the job done. My only problem is, I don't like how the straws are already unwrapped. Call me a germophoebe if you will, but I cant help to think about the window person handling the money and the touch screen credit card device, then grabs your naked straw. Not to mention the rag they use to wipe the cup down. If they could handle my straw the way In & out does or just let me unwrap my straw, they would get that star from me. I went to Dutch bro's at 7:30 on 6/20. We went in the drive thru line with 6 cars in front of us. It took 14 minutes to move 3 spots up to finally have our order taken. After our order was taken, it took another 8 minutes for us to get our one drink. This is the slowest Dutch I have ever been to. It took 22 minutes for 6 cars. This is frustrating as we go to Dutch all the time. This particular Dutch has given us bad experiences with wait times. read more

Yesterday, Feb 28th my daughter and I went to DutchBros around 9 am. We both have the app and go several times a week. She ordered the sweater weather chai and I the candycane mocha. We get to the window. The guy is friendly, almost to the point of too far like we said we were running errands he said what kind of errands? Then they hand out our drinks and my daughters is perfect but mines real dark instead of creamy and chocolate milk looking and I said right away "this doesn't look right" and the guy just insisted that's how you make it. I said it's a candy cane mocha? Hex replies, yeah that's how we make it! Two girls were standing there mixing drinks and I said well I know it's not right it doesn't taste right it doesn't look right. I'd like you to remake it. He said we can remake it but it's gonna be the same and the girls agreed! My daughter asked to talk to the manager and the manager was one of the girls that was standing there! Timidly, she comes to the window and says oh it says it's a cold brew! I said, "nowhere at no time did I mention making anything cold brew! I never drink cold brew., I know what I order and I know what it looks like. never said cold brew. Who that makes coffee drinks doesn't know when they pass out a drink that if the reg customer says it's not creamy enough and looks to dark that it was possibly mixed with cold brew? I'm not kidding it took us 20 minutes! They should've given us a free drink for time wasted for this 8.00+ drink for the time arguing with them over that drink. They were rude. All of them, the guy was friendly, but way too personal, and would not hear that that drink was made wrong. I don't know what the girl in the drive-through heard because neither of us said anything about cold brew. It was candy cane mocha, same thing I say every freaking day. I like this place ... the only downfall is that there's not enough room/parking for a quick pickup when it's busy ... which seems to always be the time we want to go there. This location is posted up right next to my co-working space at Co-Manity (also highly recommend if you're a digital nomad or remote worker). Dutch Brothers always has people out in in the parking lot helping people place orders quickly and accurately to help move cars along quickly so that's nice. The vibe is ALWAYS fun. I love Dutch Brothers so I feel bad that I am giving this a low review. Most locations can have a long line but we waited in line for 20 minutes last night. By the time we finally reached the front we got our drinks. My drink was amazing because it was a kicker with eggnog fusion which was amazing. The decor is cute for the holidays as well. We finally left and they had forgotten to give my grandfather back his credit card. He was a little worried but thankfully they had it when we went back to get it. This place is so cool my daughter wants to work here - in the summer, when it's hot! (And when she's 16. She's 14 now.) The costumer service is refreshing! Young people/teens being attentive and kind? (and pigs still can't fly!) ...Yep. It's happening here at this Dutch Brothers. Their coffee is really good! My daughter likes the white chocolate mocha freeze and I like the regular freeze. Watch out for those "brain freezes" though - ouch! The prices are less than the leading competitor yet the quality is great! The lines are not too long usually, and when they are, they move super fast. This stand can do no wrong. They always get my order right and have some how memorized it even though it's not a typical drink. I come here a lot and they're always smiling. Probably my most favorite stand and I'm sure I've been to every single one in the valley. Today was the first time I've ever had an issue there with my card getting declined and my drinks made with incorrect milk. Guy was such a sweetheart and apologized profusely and offered to remake them. I was already gifted the drinks and have no dietary restrictions so I insisted on keeping them. Woah. Where do you begin. Worst experience I've ever had at any Dutch bros. My partner and I decided to stop by this past weekend. The Gilbert's farmers market had just ended so there was a pretty big line for the drive through window. We didn't feel like sitting around so we decided to park and order through the walk up window. When we got there, there were just a group of three kids "waiting you get their order", so we were pretty relieved as it seemed we wouldn't have to wait. Well..... The kids just kept waiting for their order, and waiting, and talking, and waiting, and talking... We soon realized these "customers" were carrying the classic "dutch bros" tablets, and from the conversations they were having with the girl at the window (we found out her name was Essence) this kids actually WORKED there. Aright. Shocks over, my partner and I start counting. At this point we think it's been anywhere from 10 -15 minutes of us standing in line, and these employees just ignoring us... At some point most of the kids disperse, but the window girl (Essence) and another boy keep talking. By now, there is ACTUALLY a line of equally bewildered people behind us waiting to order. And what are these kids talking about? No joke: Essence "do you rave? We should totally go to a rave together." ... ... ... Child, raves died in the 90's. Your desert parties are glorified backyard parties with decent sound systems. But most importantly, regardless of how productively, unproductivly, intoxicated, or sober you choose to spend your personal time, you are within those 6 - 8 hours being PAID to put that aside. ... is what I wanted to say. Instead I smiled when she made a snide comment about not getting good tips on her shift anyway WHEN SHE HADN'T EVEN TAKEN OUR ORDER YET. Gah! Finally one of the other girls working inside became visibly annoyed with her. I'm not sure if she nudged her or what, but the boy finally said... "well I guess I should go now." At that point it had been 20 minutes since we walked up... as soon as the boy left, Essence FINALLY greeted us and asked us "you guys haven't placed your order have you?" I wanted to scream. We ordered and received our order within a minute, Essence hinted we should tip her. Not knowing if they split tips or not, we did since we didn't want to screw over the rest of the people who were actually working, then we left. Never this location again. read more

Everyone who works in food service, retail or customer service should be required to frequent Dutch Bros on a regular basis. HR professionals should have to study their hiring practices. They are the platinum level. I've never had a poor experience at any location. This one is the newest location nearest to my home and it's just as good as any of the others. In fact I often go just for the pick-me-up and positive interaction that I know I'll get at the window. And the coffee is delicious too! If you order just a coffee, it's made as an Americano with espresso and hot water. DELICIOUS! Far more delicious and far better pricing than any other specialty coffee house. Most DB location are just drive-thru with some outside seating, so you wouldn't go to hang out in a cafe, but it's a far better experience and far better coffee than any of the other local cafes including the one who shall not be named..."S*****cks. read more
