Dutch Bros in Granite Bay is basically my pre-river hype squad. Before I even touch a paddleboard, I'm here like, "yeah... I'm about to be athletic," knowing full well this Rebel is doing most of the heavy lifting. Now listen... it's a drive-thru, right? So you expect a quick "here you go, bye." Nope. Not here. These folks pull up like they've known you since middle school. "How's your day?" "What are you getting into?" "What's your drink vibe today?" And I'm sitting there like... hold on, I just came for caffeine, now I'm in a full-on life update. But I'm not mad at it. The energy is contagious. You leave feeling like you just got coffee and a pep talk. And the speed? Surgical. I'm talking Formula 1 pit crew vibes. That line could wrap around the block and somehow you're still out of there in minutes like... did I teleport? Ordered the blended Tiger's Blood Rebel and whew... that first sip hits like a tropical vacation slapped me across the face (in a good way). Sweet, icy, and powerful enough to convince me I've got elite paddleboarding skills... which is debatable. Best part--line looks long, but don't let it scare you. It moves faster than my motivation after that first sip. All in all, great vibes, fast service, and drinks that make you believe in yourself just a little too much. I visit the Granite Bay Dutch Bros Coffee extremely often and have always had an amazing experience. Everytime I pull up I notice the energy and everyone working there is always super friendly, upbeat, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which makee every stop feel more personal than your typical coffee run. Espically Cameron, Zoey, and Bayleigh who can somehow read my mind and know exactly what I want. I've been a loyal Dutch Bros customer for 10 years, but after my recent experience at the Granite Bay location, I will never be returning. On March 16, 2025, I ordered a drink and found a plastic object inside it. This was not only disgusting but also a serious health hazard--what if I had choked? When I contacted Dutch Bros customer service, I expected them to take responsibility. Instead, they suspended my account, logged me out, and now I have no access to it. All I asked for was a refund for the drink I couldn't consume, but instead, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. If this is how Dutch Bros handles food safety concerns and loyal customers, I can't support this company anymore. If you value customer service, accountability, and basic food safety, I'd think twice before visiting this location. read more

I've been to this location twice in the past two weeks early in morning. Was helped by a lady with blue hair both times. Very nice but has messed up on my order both times. Had to ask to remake my HOT hopscotch protein latte the first time but I didn't have time to do it the second time. Not even sure if I even got my protein in my drink either. It seems that Dutch Bros doesn't understand the concept of convenience, which why I choose to go there and buy a coffee for seven dollars +1 dollar tip instead of simply do it for a couple cents at home . Driving an older car, which has only one cup holder in use and I asked them friendly to take my previous cup and put it simply in the trash they refused and canceled my order anyway. This was my first time at this particular Dutch Bros. Actually it was my first DB drink since COVID hit. The coffee mocha freeze was delicious! The staff was a fun bunch exuding the DB vibe. The fella taking my order expertly knew the menu and provided drink recommendations. I wanted a chocolate caffeinated freeze. He recommended the chocolate mocha. I ordered that made with almond milk. Plus I asked for chocolate drizzled walls... alot of drizzle. I like my coffee and I like my chocolate. LOL. He asked if I wanted whipped cream. He said it's not vegan, so I declined. The drink sounded so good that hubs at the last minute chimed in to order the exact same thing. He is not a coffee drinker or into sweets. He luved it. Boy did he slurp that up. It was delicious. Chocolatey mocha!! Mmm. It was so pretty too. And they definitely weren't stingy with the chocolate drizzle. Yay! The prices are cheaper than SB. I'm just done with the DB. Their drinks and customer service has gone severely down hill. I don't know if they got new management or what. There is this one (tall) dude in particular that lacks personality and has this smug, arrogant, demeanor like he owns the place (and maybe he does) and it drives me away! I love dutch bros but i'm rating this location a 3 because of an odd experience I just had. I always get an iced rebel but sometimes they forget and blend it instead. I'm never annoyed I just ask to have it iced and reject the blended one. The guy asked if i still wanted the blended drink because it was already made and I said sure because I figured my sister could drink it. He went to make my iced one and someone named Jade who works there asked if he'd take the blended drink away from me. The worker told Jade that he was being nice because they made it wrong. Jade said to the worker "we don't do that" meaning he shouldn't have been nice and gave me a free one. I felt awkward and said I've give the blended one back that i didn't even want it. I feel that Jade should have done this once i left. It felt very odd and I felt horrible for the guy who remade my drink for me. Managers need to be aware of the audience and how they make the company look when addressing mistakes. i don't think it was that big of a deal knowing the drink would of been thrown out. A much needed iced caramelizer now that I'm home for the holidays! I love this location because they've always nailed the perfect combination of coffee, chocolate milk with that sweet sweet caramel taste.. the Caramelizer!! Not only does it satisfy my taste buds, but I'm sure some of you can agree, that a drink from one of your favorite coffee places is mentally satisfying! It's like a cool shade relaxing over your body.. puts you in a trance... words like mmmm... yum... and oh my God escape your lips at first sip... At least it does for me, lol! With the long line I was in today, Dutch Bros moved at a nice fast pace to serve everyone! Smiles and holiday cheer all around us, you couldn't help but laugh with everyone! This location is next to Auburn-Folsom road at the back of the parking lot. The lines are always intimidating, but usually go pretty quick. May sticker... I've never been to a Dutch Bro's location where my experience wasn't a five-star service. I don't come to this location often, only when I drop off my teen to her workplace which is very close, so only twice. No walk up window open due to Covid-19 so we went through the drive-thru. Our orders were picked up by the outside barista who went from car to car. We got our usual, Palm Beach and Crazy Hawaiian frosts (btw, since then the drink has been renamed) they called it "Unwind" in the Baseline (Roseville) location but when I searched for it online by the description they now call it "Wallaby." This is the caramel, chocolate macadamia nut, and dark chocolate mocha. I digress, we went towards the last day of May and I asked when they'll start handing out stickers again (they stopped during Covid). Our young, handsome barista at the window said they had stickers on May 1st! wha??? My teen and I are hooked on these stickers. He went towards the back and he found one for us. Mind you, these stickers are gone by afternoon of the 1st day of each month, at least on the two locations I go to, and our visit was May 30. One was better than none and we were grateful for the kind treatment because he didn't have to do it. He had a mask on but I could imagine a big smile underneath... I wish i could rate it a 0. They messed up almost every single drink that was ordered. One was ordered with popping boba (they did not put any damn popping boba). Two rebels were supposed to be double blended and extra thick (they gave us two slimy ahh rebels, obviously NOT DOUBLE BLENDED and no extra ice added for the thickness). Another drink was ordered with pomegranate drizzle, they put way too much and it is undrinkable (tastes like cough syrup). NEVER going to this dutch bros again. This was the worst dutch bros experience ever. They messed up all our drinks.They gave us the opposite of what we ordered. I don't think this Dutch bros location even deserves 1 star because of how horrible it was. we asked for popping boba in our drink (they ended up not putting any), we also ordered 2 stoplight rebels double blended extra thick and all they gave us (NON BLENDED DRINKS) we also asked for all drinks to be medium( half of the drinks were made as smalls) so maybe have your employees repeat the orders to customers and actually get it right. read more

This is the second time this has happened at this location. I got the medium annihilater & it's full of milk and no espresso. At the window when I told the barista he looked confused and said there are 2 shots of espresso in the drink. Did a taste test and it's definitely all milk and a little espresso. This will annihilate nothing. Barista did not offer to remake the drink. Instead he said he can charge extra for more espresso. If you just pull quality shots to begin with there will be no need for extra shots. Paid 7 bucks for milk and some syrup. Never coming back to this location. I love coming to this location whenever I am in the area I go to Folsom twice a week for appointments. This is one of my favorite Dutch Bros™ in the area. It's conveniently located in the same shopping center a safe credit union and Verizon wireless. The staff is super friendly very energetic today. I came here because I had received a dollar off since I hadn't been to Dutch Bros™ in a while and so I figured why not get some coffee before I have to go to my appointment. The girl working was very friendly, very sweet very efficient at first they couldn't find a drink on there and I told him like they have it on there I get it all the time and they were able to find it. No big deal. I was hoping I was gonna get one of the straws today but you had to buy one drink and get one free go figure I didn't get a straw lol This establishment has more than just coffee. They have cheese. They have energy drinks. They also have decaf drink which I've had before as a white chocolate latte which is actually very good and they also have something for the kids and they do have some food items. The muffin tops are absolutely amazing if you're looking for a little bit of a breakfast in the morning those are definitely very Inconvenient to eat on the road establishment is very clean very clean drive-through very clean establishment in case you haven't done so if you download the Dutch Bros™ app every time they scan your app you earn points when you get to 250 points you get a free medium drink of your toys when you get 325 you get a free large drink of your toys and I don't know about you guys but I love a free drink and on your birthday you get a birthday reward who doesn't love getting free stuff. Most of the times I've come here, the employees are very friendly and helpful. And of course, I love the drinks. However, this is probably the slowest location I've been to and I went to college in a town that had about 5 different Dutch Bros locations. In addition, one time when I came here, the younger white male employee who took my order made conversation and asked what I did for work. This happened awhile back so I don't know his name nor can I give a more detailed physical description. Anyway, I didn't necessarily care that he asked that question, but when I replied that it was law-enforcement related, he turned around and gave his friend a look, then turned back to me and said "Oh woww INTERESTING!" with a raised eyebrow and judgmental stare. Want to preface this review by saying I was a shift lead at Dutch Bros for 3 years so I am well aware of how rude some customers can be and would never act like that. Went to this dutch bros on Sunday June 9th at around 2:40PM and had by far the worst and most uncomfortable experience I have ever had. I ordered a dub shot over ice with cookie flavor and 4 cream, the guy outside that took my order was really pleasant. Got to the window and the guy handed me a hot drink, so I let him know we ordered it over ice please (I know this is a common mistake and the barista seemed new so no worries there). Then a person walks up behind him and starts asking about what we ordered, and the original barista is a little confused so the other person comes to the window and says "Is this them?". The person says so you wanted it over ice? And I say yes. And The person goes "Did you like want the whip cream on the bottom or something?" I said oh I didn't order any whip cream. The person goes "Yes you ordered a dub shot upside down with whip cream". I was so confused as this isn't what I ordered and I said no we ordered a cookie dub shot over ice with 4 cream. The person very rudely goes "We cant do 4 cream here" (This wasn't a rule when I worked there and the person outside didn't tell me so I was just confused but was like okay" So I'm like alright and she changes her whole posture and is very combative and almost laughs and is like OKAY!! almost yelling and looks scary. The person then turns around and I can see them point at me and making fun of me saying I am being rude. It was extremely uncomfortable just sitting there. So then the poor guy hands me an iced drink with white coffee and at this point I just asked if we could possibly get a refund because this still isn't what I ordered (and I was uncomfortable since the other person was talking about me and being very combative for no reason) and the guy just asked if I wanted white coffee to which I said no and he then says he'll just remake it again for me. This time it was right and we left. This other person made me so uncomfortable and was incredibly rude when I did nothing wrong. My drink was made wrong multiple times, I was understanding and simply trying to get what I ordered. Definitely not what Dutch Bros stands for or what I would ever expect, this person needs to be coached or maybe should not be in the service industry. Caramelizer! I love the coffee here and the service is outstanding. Trying to work through the menu of tasty Java but the caramelizer keeps getting me. The staff really knows how to keep things moving. They come out to the cars if the line gets long at all.
