I have only tried their biryani but I absolutely love it. One of the best vegetarian biryanis in the greater Dallas area. Pretty consistent taste especially when compared other Indian restaurants in the area. Ordered Raju gaari kodi pulav, veggie dum biryani personal size and gaarelu for sunday night dinner. Pulav was aromatic and tasted good. My wife who is usually very critical of veggie biryani we get in our area, loved the biryani. Gaarelu were good as well. I gave only 3 stars because of the person taking orders on phone and in the front. They have zero people skills and sound outright rude even though they don't intend to. I am pretty picky about curry. This was best curry I have had in TX. I had the chicken tikka masala. It was very buttery and rich, less tomato flavor than some but incredibly delicious. I also tried mutton keema biryani and enjoyed it; The regular size was really large, probably 4-6 side dish servings or more. I would go with the personal if you are just one or two people. The samosas are small but good and sold individually- the tamarind sauce they come with is to die for. Wish they were open weekday lunch! read more

Tried dhondakaya masala and kakarakaya fry. Sorry to say this , both are bad. Dhondakaya masala is full oily and sweet, may be good with chapathi but not for rice. Kakarakaya fry is also oily, I think kakarakaya is deep fried and made it a fry later. No taste and you can taste oil more than the food. This is a great small family owned restaurant. They are proud of the fact that they use no preservatives or food coloring in their food; which I love. They do not make to order. They have large batches of curry made fresh every day so you never know what you'll get when you go in. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious. The VERY BEST Indian food in the metroplex. Wish I could give a sixth star They have a menu that changes daily (which I love) and you can even check what they have each day on their website. They may take a little while but the food is 100% worth the wait. You get a pretty good amount of food for what you pay, and it's delicious. No problem, next time I will order ahead of time. This was the best chicken Tikka Masala I've ever had. I also had the eggplant curry which was delish. So, this was for a to-go order. I ordered rice, egg curry and sambar. Egg curry was so so so chewy, it could very well be the sole of a shoe. For a second I thought, it was paneer. But upon carefully examining it, I understood it was egg. I went right before closing, so I will give them the benefit of doubt and will visit again. It's mostly a take out place but we decided to eat in. Ordered the mini veg meal, masala dosa and veg puloa. I inquired what was in the non veg thali. I was shown the menu. It doesn't tell you what's in it which drives me nuts. I get that there's a non veg curry but what kind of curry is it. We ordered other food items. Anyway, we sat down and we got the veg mini meal first. The sambar was cold. The mystery curries were good but I wish I knew what I was eating. The masala dosa filling was gross. The onion in it was the onion peel. The chutneys were tasty. The veg puloa was decent. We asked the server if we could get a pickle to go with the puloa and he said no. My brother in law was still hungry so he went up to the counter to get a plain dosa. We waited and waited. We finally had to ask what I believe was the manager who was sitting down for some help. This was the first time visiting this restaurant, my husband and I just moved to the neighborhood and are new to the frisco area and were very excited to explore the restaurants around us. However this place was a mistake, it took 15 min just to order the food because the person on the phone didn't understand English well, then finally after getting everything ordered we get home and realize there is no rice or bread! I remembered ordering everything we had the chicken curry chicken biryani and kofta malai stew. So i call back and tell them they forgot the rice and the response was they charge for everything separately (and don't bother telling you that over the phone), the rice and bread are all separate from the stews, good to know in advance! so I had to send my husband back up there again to get the rice, finally get a full meal sit down to eat and it is soo spicy that its inedible there was absolutely no taste all it is was heat burning your mouth. The chicken biryani had bone in chicken and pieces of bone scattered throughout the rice making it hard to eat as well as a very strong gross spice that made it also inedible as well as still super spicy. Recently, I ordered food from Dwaraka for lunch. I ordered Chicken Dum Biriyani, Mutton Pepper Fry, Paneer Biriyani, Vegetable Fried Rice, Cut Mirchi & Tomato Dal. The entire food was too fresh & delicious. The Mutton Pepper Fry tasted very good and everyone in the party liked it. Also the Cut Mirchi & Paneer Biriyani were loved by all.
