The dynasty has been my favorite restaurant for a long time, I used to eat here as a kid when commuting to Port Angeles for violin lessons, and I'm pretty sure they haven't increased their prices since then. Most well deserved 5/5 on yelp Update: just got served bad chicken here, it tasted like a combination of sour and freezer burn. My girlfriend tried it too to confirm. You could even smell it before eating it. I was pretty grossed out, but what really disgusted me was their response. After returning the dish the waitress came back saying the chef had tried it and it was fine, so they billed me half. I've never returned a dish before, but I'm pretty sure that when you do so for expired chicken this is not the correct response. Good food, sweet people. Yummy Szechuan eggplant is highly recommended. I was sad to get home (25 min away) and discover that my chow mein didn't have the hand-shaven noodles -- just regular machine-made. :( But now way I was I driving back, and it was tasty. Had dinner here last night. My husbands favorite is Chinese and based on reviews we selected Dynasty. As we arrived we were greeted nicely and promptly seated. They provided water and hot tea to start. We shared the dinner plate with honey walnut and General tso chicken and ordered a side of house chow mein. Overall the food wasn't bad, but didn't wow us. I've had better Chinese food. I don't think I'd come back if I were back in the area. read more

My wife and I stopped for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We had Sweet & Sour Chicken and Prawns w/ Vegetables. The Egg flower soup was delicious. It had a thick smooth broth. I love this place! Consistently great food, thoughtfully prepared. Sauces are varied and appropriate for dishes and the knife work on the fresh veggies is absolutely amazing. Someone in the kitchen takes pride in their prep and presentation. My go to dish is the Buddhist Delight with extra garlic and ginger. The veggie mix includes fresh (de-stringed that day) green beans, wedges of baby bok choy and shitakes to go along with the usual veggies and tofu. Lots of great vegetarian options here. Three Chinese restaurants in Sequim. All within about a block of each other. I looked at yelp and decided to give these guys a shot. Lucky me! Service was prompt and always with a smile. Table was a little sticky here and there, but looked clean. I had a dinner combo w/ Kung Pao chicken. Spring roll and dumplings were both good and fresh cooked. Same with the sweet and sour soup. A bit much corn starch, but tasty. I also ordered the spareribs. Excellent! Not little pieces soaking in a red sweet sauce. Real rib pieces that were smoked and left dry for dipping. I got a tofu spring roll. Won't do that again. Finally the Kung Pao chicken. I thought it was pretty good. Didn't knock my socks off, but I ate all of it. Very fresh veggies used. Chicken was tender and good. Could have used a bit more spices but I didn't ask for it that way. Next time over to beautiful Sequim I will be eating here! read more

Solid tasty Chinese place. I have been to so many bad Chinese places that it's made me reluctant to try them. But my son and husband both wanted to come here. I loved the tea they served. We got a variety of food and it was all tasty. I think what I hate about Chinese food is when the sauces are super goopy, or sickening sweet. So sweet it makes your teeth zing. My son loves sweet and sour chicken. I tried a piece, not over saucy, or too sweet. Was crispy and tasty. Everything we got was good. Definitely aren't lying about the no MSG. I felt fine, no headache, after eating here. Highly recommend this place. We got 2 meals easy...we always seem to get too much food because we all like different stuff. Lol. When visiting the area and staying at a nearby hotel, we decided to try this place for some takeout during Covid. I was greeted immediately by somebody wearing a mask who was ready to take our order. She was very friendly and during our order offered to split up our large soup portion into different containers as we were taking it back to the hotel and we didn't have an easy way to serve it. She was kind enough to wipe down my credit card before she gave it back to me and wipe down the pen for signing the receipt which I appreciated. Definitely made me feel better about the quality and cleanliness of the place in general. After ordering we went out to our car and the food was brought out to us in less than 10 minutes when it was ready. Hot and sour soup, cream cheese wontons, Kung pow chicken, eggroll were all delicious and seemed of good quality. Would definitely recommend to anybody, especially if you're concerned about cleanliness and quality. read more

The food was pretty much average here, nothing really to remark upon. If you've had generic Chinese American food, you've had this. The service was impeccable and the value (meal comes with fried rice, soup, dumplings, egg roll, entree, cookie) is spectacular. read more

This place was so good! I will for sure be going back to get the cream cheese wontons! Very good service also! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was because I ordered a diet coke. We stopped here based on other reviews. I did't think it was possible for so many to give this place 5 stars but this is the real deal. Excellent service, and quality. I'm sorry that I live 200 miles away.. We had Sequim Chicken and Dynasty Chicken. Both were excellent and freshly prepared. We also had the fried rice which was very good, a side of bbq port, a spring roll and three beers. The bill was just over 40 bucks for dinner. We took containers of leftovers back to the hotel. If you come to Sequim, you should really give this place a try. We may go back tomorrow. read more
