The food is consistently good. We've visited several times, and every experience has been enjoyable. Definitely a reliable spot! We ordered the lobster and roast duck to try for the first time. The lobster was fresh and flavorful, and the roast duck was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a stylish and welcoming ambiance. Friendly service. Easy to find parking.

I came here with my mom and my girlfriend, the food was absolutely amazing! We received a menu and decided to give it a shot and I'm glad we did! Drinks are very limited but the portions of food are very generous. Service was a little confusing but everyone seemed to be working hard and our leftover dinner was even packaged up for us in a very efficient way. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean. We will be back and are excited to watch this restaurant grow!

Celebrated my friend's belated bday lunch here. Service by Eric was tremendous! He is so excellent. King was home (not feeling well today). We ordered - Soft tofu w egg and mushrooms - Singapore think curry noodles with vegg and shrimp - Green beans - Kung pao shrimp - Hot tea - Ginger in black vinegar - Chili oil Everything was super great! We left stuffed and had some things to take home.

We order the Siu Mai, Spicy wonton , Honey bbq pork, Salt pepper pork, Sautéed baby bok choy w mushroom, Beef udon w black pepper & Honey walnut shrimp. Everything was amazing and full of flavor , very good portion sizes and all the ingredients seemed fresh and top quality. Services was excellent everyone working seemed very friendly and knowledgeable of the food. The atmosphere and ambiance we very simple yet upscale. The only downside was our table wast fully wiped from the previous customers so there was a few crumbs and sauce puddles on the table but nothing to crazy to change our minds about coming back here. 10/10 we would really recommend this place and we will definitely be back many more times

First time here, and I'm pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant beautiful and tastefully decorated. I didn't have time for a sit down lunch so I ordered a beef Chow fun to go. Big portion and really tasty and authentic . I would definitely come back here again. What a gem here in Orange.

We did take out and the food was good. I Recommend this place if you're in the area. I'm visiting OC with the family and my nieces wanted Chinese food. This place did not disappoint, everything was pretty good. The roasted duck, string beans, spicy orange chicken, sautéed filet mignon, and the spicy egg plant is our favorite. The hot and sour soup was not spicy and the garlic pea shoots were old, as it was not tender but chewy.

Warning if you are local and received their menu/flyer in the mail... those prices are for to go orders ONLY so expect everything on the actual menu (if you go to dine in)) to be higher. (I have never seen a restaurant charge different prices based on ordering to go or dining in?) Also, they do not serve steamed rice with their dinner entrées, so you'll need to add that on as well. I didn't see any mention of rice NOT being included (I just assumed it would be because ive never been to a Chinese restaurant where it wasn't included) nor did I see a price to add steamed rice (as an indication that it was not included) OR to even order steamed rice. The only rice listed in their menu was fried rice (also served family style) (and of course the waiter Never mentioned that rice was not included. Another thing to mention is they no longer serve "cups/bowls" of soup. You have to order a family size portion (which according to their menu serves 4 to 6 people) and was about $16. Doesn't really make sense if you're a party of 2) This place just gave me a bad vibe (probably why it was 95% empty) seems like they're trying to be secretly deceptive and I'm not having that! There are so many other great Chinese places around. We left there and went to another one just a couple miles away and not only was the rice INCLUDED with our meal but you ALWAYS get FREE hot tea and FREE crispy wonton appetizer! AND their employees are super friendly and extremely accommodating... you don't leave their feeling like you've been nickel and dimed and ripped off! (Also to note, (not that I think this makes it right) but I did come home and look at the menu we received in the mail and I will say (on their behalf) at the very bottom (in very small font) on 4 of their 13 pages they did print "dining (I think they meant DINE IN) price may be different from to go" But will also note that same menu is also marked "dine in - to go - delivery - catering" so if this is not the dine in menu, it should not be marked dine in...

Food was delicious with large portions. I admit that I was skeptical about this place because I saw no other Chinese (or Asian) people eating, even though the staff were Chinese. We came on Friday for lunch around 1:15pm. The restaurant had some patrons dining, but the room was not even half full. The food came out quickly, hot and freshly made. The shrimp walnut was crispy but not with too much of the mayonaise dressing. The braised tofu was slightly chewy on the outside skin and soft on the inside (this was my favorite) topped off dried scallop with Enoki mushrooms. The beef chow fun was the least special because it was fine but ordinary. We really enjoyed our food. We decided to order "family style" large entrees to share instead of the lunch special, which I would be curious to try. Service was great; the server boxed up our food to go. I would highly recommend!

One of our go-to places for holidays! Everything we've tried has been really good and service is always welcoming when we pick up our to go orders. Would come back for sure

Do they actually charge for pot of tea for large dinner table? Sounds weird for a Chinese restaurant to be so stingy at serving hot water with a teabag inside esp when you spend over a few hundreds on a meal. Hope to get some insights.

Going by personal experience over the past few years paying for tea is standard at most restaurants. Even steamed white rice has a price unless listed as part of the meal. I have also noticed that some fast food restaurants charge for extra sauce.…

    Is there a catering menu?

    Yes

    Is there lunch special everyday?

Per the menu I received I received in the mail and from what I saw when I dined there last night, it appears that they have lunch specials Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What are the times for the lunch menu ??? And can you order lunch menu meals at dinnertime?

Lunch hours are Monday to Friday until 3pm

Are there any gluten free options?

    I believe there was.

    Do they take reservations?

Yes we take reservations. They can be made by calling in to us at (714) 941-9786. We will be implementing a reservation feature once our website is live.

    Do you offer vegetarian options?

Hello yes we have many vegetarian options and you can request a lot of dishes to be made vegetarian! Just ask your server or a manager on duty!

Can they accommodate for gluten free?

Yes we can accommodate many dishes to be made gluten free. Just ask your server or a manager on duty!

BUSINESS PERMANENTLY CLOSING 6/28/26…read more Came here with some gals for afternoon tea. It's a cute little restaurant in Old Towne Orange. It's decorated really cute inside and out! Everything was creatively planned and decorated. It was also very clean and spacious inside and out. When you go in, there's a tea sampling station with the menus so you can see which tea you would like to order. Our server was really sweet, but she was the only one serving all of the tables, so she would come by every 10-20 minutes to check on us and some things we asked for didn't make it to the table. If they had more servers, customers would be happy with quicker service. The food and tea were delish! There were 6 of us so we shared a bunch of different teas. I really enjoyed the teas they had. The sweet and savory treats were really yummy! I really enjoyed them. Each person got 5 little savory treats and 4 sweet treats. I kind of wish we got one or two more for $45, but either way they were delicious! We had a great time and were sad to learn that the business will be permanently closing down tomorrow (6/28/26), I would have loved to continue going back!

We got a variety of dishes to try out, and overall it was just ok. The soup was good but was a little light on ingredients, the papaya salad was decent with a little kick, noodles didn't really have much truffle taste but was ok, green beans were crunchy and probably the best dish here, and the mango sticky rice was not ripe. Most of the mango pieces were hard / not sweet and proportion to the rice was off. The staff was friendly and the space is very open and welcoming. Not sure if I'd come back though unless I was craving the Asian fusion tea service.

I was meeting my foodie friend there at 12:30. The parking lot has limited space, which made it an extra challenge to park. Thankfully I only had to circle the block once to come back and snag a spot. (Meanwhile, my friend got there before me and was already enjoying an appetizer). Orders are placed at the counter and they call your number once your food is ready. The dining room consists of mostly booth seating with one "communal" table, and counter seating with 5ish chairs. There are also a handful of tables set outside. I've really been enjoying banh mi and their Bulgogi beef sandwich sounded great. I also happen to have a thing for popcorn chicken, so I got an order of that to round out my lunch. Oh, and based on the rave reviews I've read about their peach & lychee green tea, I ordered one of those as well. Let me just say, lunch was very satisfying! The sandwich was generously filled the fresh ingredients and the meat to veggie ratio was perfect. I'm not sure what the green sauce was that they finished the sammie off with but it was SO tasty!! I requested the popcorn chicken with medium heat and it was just spicy enough to leave my tongue tingling slightly. My friend saved an egg roll for me and it was also really good. (The tea by the way was very refreshing.) Now, this was my first time here but I never saw anyone come out to check the dining room or wipe down the tables after the lunch rush. This was especially concerning to me because they had a guy doing work on the windows who put his feet/ shoes on the tables right under said windows. Ewww. But aside from the parking challenge and the table hygiene/cleanliness, our visit was quite enjoyable and the food was very good. We would definitely return, but we'll have to plan around the lunch rush!

And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. We're already talking about coming back and bringing our family and more of our friends so we can all enjoy it together. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 experience. The beef roll is a MUST. Unlike some places where it can be dry, theirs had the perfect amount of sauce and was so good. Also get the lava egg yolk steamed buns. So soft, moist, fresh, and delicious.
