This is a great place to eat. Good portions reasonable prices service was great will come back again.

I was just there with my family last Saturday. We got there on time as reserved. It was pretty off to see the staff acted like they just opened the restaurant with unplanned operations. They took our orders 20 minutes after we got seated. They had the plates with the utensils nicely wrapped with brown hand clothes. Observations why I have them rated a single star: 1. The plates and the utensils are noticeably dirty. It seems like it's just only being rinsed after each used but never washed because the grease in the plates are very noticeable and the utensils had some dried food particles on it. Their brown hand cloth also had dried grease blots on it. We brought this to their attention but they just replaced it with same dirty utensils.We ended up using the disposable chopsticks and had paper towels that we had. 2. We also ordered six items from their menu excluding the drinks but only four came that was served after an hour from ordering it. When asked to follow up the other missing items, they just told us that they forgot to cook one item and the other one was already out of stock. The best part is that they told us after we almost finished eating the appetizers and a house special fried rice and vegetables and it was already late in the evening before we can order another one since it took them an hour to serve the ordered items. This is the first time we went back home eating home-prepared foods coming from a restaurant. The best part is we never heard a single apology about what happened. All we heard was "you should not come here on a Saturday when it's busy" and I even told them that how is it busy with you when I see 6 staff roaming taking and serving food and the restaurant was not even full. We just got duped by the 4 stars rating. Hence the reason why we chose to dine there last weekend. Not a great experience at all. Hope my comment will be your learning experience. read more

Food taste very good and authentic, and prices are reasonable. I like most about their soup selection when ordering take out. To-Go Soup come in two tubs, yes, two! Makes it easy for me and my partner as we don't have to divvy it up anymore when we consume it. We can each have our own tub of warm delicious soup, not to mention the volume of soup you get for the same price compared to other take out Chinese places! Super... The food is good. However, they have an issue with the service We ordered eggplant with pork, Kung Pao chicken, steamed rice, and braised tofu. About 3 or 4 minutes after we placed our order, we got the rice. Then, about 5 or 6 minutes later the eggplant. 10 minutes after that, we got the chicken, and then about 10 minutes later, the tofu. So if you want all your food at once like we do, it wasn't the best experience. We were eating cold rice with the other dishes. I did bring this up to an employee who was asking how everything was. He told me that is the way Cantonese style is served. So I would say it's an OK place, but you can do better. read more

Went here for Mother's Day lunch with a party of 8. They were understandably very busy, but I feel like once we got our orders in, the food came out very timely, our drinks were always full, and most importantly, the food tasted amazing! Not too greasy, generous portions. My dad is very hard to please and he said this is one of his new favorite restaurants in the area. I was really looking forward to trying out this Chinese restaurant which took over when Fortune Cookie closed over 2 years ago. I had received their slick brochure in the mail and was impressed with the extensive menu and write-up about the chef. The atmosphere and ambiance is cozy and warm and the host was very friendly. We ordered the war wonton soup, kung pao chicken and filet mignon with mushrooms and black pepper sauce. Rice and tea are NOT included in the price. Our first server, a young man was nice but we had an older man who actually took our order and delivered our food and he was very average. The food came out very fast which suggested it was already prepared and just heated up and that is a turn off. The food was just ok and given the rather pricey cost was a disappointment. Kung pao really didn't taste fresh and filet mignon was rather bland and tasteless. Definitely not the "fix" I was craving for good, tasteful Chinese food. Soup was better and was served hot. All in all, both of us agreed we wouldn't be back for some time. It's possible that perhaps we ordered the wrong dinner entrees but I will continue to look for other Chinese restaurants that satisfy. read more

I got their menu sent to my house and thought to give it a try since Sam Woo in Irvine was closed! The place is fancy for a Chinese place, I thought it was catered to American Chinese clientele. Is funny, they gave me sweet and sour sauce with fork and spoon right off the bat. The menu looks authentic like Sam Woo and Tasty Garden. It wasn't busy on a Thursday afternoon at 1:15 pm with a few tables. I ordered half porched chicken and Singapore fried noodles. The food came out really quick. I asked for chop sticks and white pepper as I always eat with all Chinese foods. The chicken is surprisingly great! The noodles is large portion and lots of wok hay taste. Both dishes are authentic Cantonese style. The only thing was upon receiving their menu a couple days ago, the restaurant prices already went up $1 to $2 more. Question is, will ai come back? The website to order is not great. If you leave the page and try to go back to it, you have to start your order all over again. We tried calling several times to order but it was on a loop so the call never went anywhere. Finally we tried the call again and someone was able to answer to take our order. Ordered salt and pepper calamari and it had to be the worst calamari dish that I've ever ordered. You couldn't tell that there was any calamari in it. It was a bunch of fried batter pieces and some thin chewy dry calamari. The house special pan fried noodles were good and so was the Mongolian beef. The sweet and sour fish filet was mostly doughy batter not enough fish. Sauce was good though. Kung pao chicken was not bad. Orange chicken was tough and chewy. I don't know if there was a new chef but this experience was vastly different from my earlier experience a few months ago when the food was much better. I'm so disappointed. read more

First, I do not give poor yelp reviews however this should be noted since this establishment has only be open for approximately 3 weeks. My first visit was nice, with good food and service, so I decided to do a take out for the next visit. Extremely disappointing, I ordered a lunch special which was less portions then in the restaurant with no soup, no salad, no egg roll. I ordered spicy wontons, as well which I did not receive, but instead, some dry cold dumplings, when I called the restaurant to inquire about the miss order, I was told they could not do anything and the manager was not on site. Came here the other day for dinner. Right when we walked in we felt the temperature. It was very warm inside. Our party of 3 sat in a booth. The booth is very tight and be no means are we big people. After approx 10mins, our server finally came over to take our order. I wanted chicken dumplings but was told they do not have it. Then why the F is it on the menu?! We proceeded to order the S&S prawns, french filet and the thai chow fun. The prawns were very bland, filet too salty. On top of that, we saw our server maybe 2X throughout the dinner. So glad we stopped in with our family. The menu is great with lots to choose from for everyone's different taste buds. We pretty much sampled a little of everything. The French Filet Mignon was phenomenal and was so tender. The Shrimp Fried rice, pan fried Potstickers, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Chow Fun were all incredible. Such well presented and cooked food. We will definitely be going back to try some more items on the menu. The pricing is extremely affordable compared to other local restaurants. The dining room has lots of options available for big or small groups. Ours was a group of 8 and we were completely comfortable. Ate here last evening with my friends from work. The food was delicious. The best asian food that I have had in a very long time. I ordered the House Special Fried Vermicelli. The noodles were cooked just right as well as the meats i.e. bbq pork and calamari. The vegetables and eggs were all in the right proportions. The flavor was divine. The service was great. The prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that you receive. My husband and I have been looking for a nice sit down asian restaurant and I found the one. Would rate zero is allowed, First Gen Chinese so I know what authentic Chinese food is, on the menu the dish is Peking duck, but the way the duck was cooked was Cantonese style, it was no way near the definition of Peking duck. and we ordered the 2 Cantonese style bbq combo, and not anyone mentioned that the combo is charged 5 bucks more, when we got the bill, we questioned the extra charge, the waiter just rude and said we just forgot to inform you that. This place was delicious! My dad is super picky about his Chinese food and wants legit Chinese food, and had seconds. We had the filet mignon, chow mein (hk style-which can be hard to find), green onion pancakes, xiao long bao, fried tofu, roasted duck. It is a bit pricey but the portions are a good size. We forgot to order chow fun which is one of my dad's favorites so we'll get that next time. We took everything to go and it was ready when they said it was. Will definitely be back! read more

I don't know what happened to cause such a change, but the food quality at this restaurant has gone drastically downhill and is nothing like it used to be. We went for dinner with friends at this restaurant not long after it opened. The food was exceptional, and probably the best Chinese food any of us had ever tasted. We returned regularly after that, usually for lunch. One of the waiters tended to be a bit brusque, but the food was always excellent. However, a few months ago, my wife ordered mushroom chicken, a dish she had ordered several times previously but this time it looked and tasted completely different. When she asked if the recipe had changed, she was rudely rebuked by the waiter, and told it was just her imagination. A month or so later, we decided to give them another try. I ordered Mongolian beef and my wife ordered mushroom chicken. Both dishes were somewhat bland and were definitely missing something with regards to seasoning. The absence of ginger was especially evident. We did not complain, but talking to the host later, he explained that each dish is prepared individually, and it was possible something was omitted. It was a reasonable explanation, but we still left dissatisfied with the quality of food we had received, and didn't return for a while. Hoping that the previous experience was an anomaly, we visited for lunch again today. This was the worst experience ever, and absolutely the final straw. The surly waiter threw my wife's mushroom chicken on my side of the table as he walked by. My Mongolian beef didn't arrive until about ten minutes later. The normal sauce on my wife's dish had been substituted with a soy sauce solution, that was barely edible. My Mongolian beef had no seasoning at all, and was basically just beef in a blown slime. I called the waiter over, and he took the dish away to have some spices added. It came back better, but you could tell the spices had been added as an afterthought, as the flavor was not properly infused into the food. We used to travel a fair distance specifically to eat at this restaurant. After today I wouldn't visit if it was within walking distance. Very disappointing! read more

If you are still in a "soft opening" phase you should make that clear with a sign. Give people a chance to decide if they want to be subject to that. If I had known I would have waited until all the kinks were worked out. Unfortunately because I didn't know I took my entire family to dinner last night and was highly disappointed! The food was okay, most of it was fine but some dishes were served warm at best. One dish didn't come until we had completely finished the rest of the food and we had to wait an extra half hour for. When we asked the staff, four separate times, we were told "let me check on that". Not one came back to the table to explain they were having issues in the kitchen. I asked the hostess if I could speak to the manager, to which she replied, "I will send him right over". He never came. Finally the dish came. By then we were full and I took it home. Not one I'm sorry for the delay, not an offer to remove it from the bill, nothing! Terrible customer service. Will we return? Probably not. To be noted, we drove from Riverside to eat here because it was getting such great reviews. I feel duped! read more

Mix feelings about this one.. the food was great, orange lacks good Chinese food and this was pretty good- excellent flavor! I did not enjoy their xiao long bao- chewy, not soupy and flavor was only so so. But the price, it was 80 dollars for pretty small portions. Additionally RICE IS NOT INCLUDED WITH ENTREES . I made that bold because I want everyone to see that and not pick up their order, get home and have to make rice like I had to. I think if I return it would be for special occasion but it's not going to join our regular take out rotation anytime soon read more

This place just opened and wow I am impressed! The food here is very good. Honestly I wasn't hungry at all and just came along for a glass of wine, but I couldn't stop eating. The food was that good. My group ordered the Kung pao fish (not on the menu, it was the Kung pao chicken with fish substitute), egg and shrimp chao fun, and green onion pancake to have family style. Highly recommend the Kung pao fish, tons of flavor. I had the chardonnay which was delicious. Unfortunately halfway through i realized there was lipstick on my glass- and I wasn't wearing any and neither was my husband. The managers Tim and Jimmy were phenomenal. They were so sweet and gracious, and immediately replaced my wine with a fresh glass. I love the leadership here. This is a beautiful restaurant, everything is brand new, and the management and staff are absolutely wonderful, and on top of all, the food is perfection. This place used to be called fortune cookie. Hard pass at this restaurant. 2 health hazards, I'm glad they didn't sit my family down. I think they need to redo or relearn the way they do business. The place was pretty empty when I got there, and we still were still kicked out due to their lack of preparation of leaving some open space due to a "i think we have a full reservation."". Like bro are you guys running your restaurants on a gamble? "We might have reservation at full. We don't know until the time comes." My brother has been here already. He said the Chinese restaurants in Garden Grove or Westminster are better. (Seafood Cove, Seafood Cove 2, Seafood Paradise, Kim Su, etc...) This place was chosen for a convenient location near home. First time trying this restaurant and was very impressed with the quality of food, great service and nice interior design. Service was excellent. Restaurant was busy but the staff frequently came to check on us and the food came out fast. Everything we had was excellent from the fried tofu appetizer to the minced beef soup and all the different dishes we tried. First time trying out Dynasty. I received this very nice menu in the mail and decided to try it out. We ordered the "Juicy Pork Dumplings"and the "Spicy Wontons". Both very delicious and good portions. Would have liked the spicy wontons to be a bit spicier, but that's just me. If you're looking for comfort food? Try the "Spicy Minced Pork & Egg w/Rice"Delicious and fulfilling. The fried egg on top is what makes it. This dish could have been a bit spicier as well. I think next time I'll just ask for "extra spicy". I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem. We also ordered the "Mongolian Beef". Great portioning and the beef was very tender and flavorful. The only thing was what I got didn't look like what was in the picture on the menu. I received a lot of onions but very few green onions and no bamboo shoots. I also expected it to come with rice for the price, but that was $3 extra. I will definitely be back. Lots of delicious looking items on the menu. Fresh decor and spacious seating. the right music at the correct volume, service was quick, server accommodated my guy's unfortunate allergy to onions. Food arrived hot a little after the appetizer plate to we had it all at once but it was not an issue. My orange peel beef was very good, salt and pepper shrimp appetizer plate was good and could easily have fed 4 people. My partner liked his cashew chicken.
