I heard about Snow Station from Anita L. and was thrilled when they opened a location in Tustin. That location, though, was still a bit far and I went from going weekly to monthly then less frequently. Then, I heard through Yelp that opened this location in Buena Park, bordering La Mirada and Fullerton. Tucked away in a strip mall, next door to a Pizza Hut, is this Snow Station. It's located across the street from the new Daiso and H Mart. They open daily at 12 o'clock noon, and close 10 PM or midnight depending on the day. The dessert is fluffier then shave ice, and so light and creamy, you would think it's ice cream. There's plenty of snow flavors to choose from, and plenty of toppings ranging from cereal to mochi to fruit and different types of syrups like condensed milk, chocolate, or strawberry. If you check in on Yelp, though give you an additional topping for free. The small and the mini already comes with one topping, and a large come with two toppings. My favorite is the mochaccino because it's not very sweet but has a nice chocolate flavor. I chose as my topping Froot Loops and added an additional splash of condensed milk as my free topping. The prices are reasonable, no more than going to a Froyo. They have items for those who cannot have lactose. Parking can be a problem during the busy times, and the inside has between 10 and 13 tables and some outdoor seating. When I came at 8:30 PM, the place was empty. As soon as 9 o'clock hit, the place was packed. How quickly the place changed in half hour. Multiple locations throughout North Orange county... give them a try! read more

I've been enjoying their snow for months. Really good stuff. Unfortunately tonight, my girlfriend and I had a bad experience and I'll just go to sul and bean instead moving forward. We ordered a chocolate snow to go, but they served it as dine in. No big deal. We waited a good 5 minutes standing there once it came out, but nobody bothered to greet us. Three girls were working: one girl was hustling and working by herself, one was talking on her phone at the doorway just smirking at us, and one was eating pizza. Eventually a girl holding and eating a slice of pizza comes out and asks what we want. We just wanted a lid so we can be on our way. It was nerve wracking to watch her munching away on her pizza in one hand while trying to put the lid on for us. She got pizza grease all over the lid and the snow all over the place trying to put the lid on with one hand....she gave up and put the half eaten slice of pizza on the counter, wrapped up our stuff then just continued to work with her dirty pizza grease filled hands. I feel bad for the next customer who got pizza flavored snow. I sincerely don't think I've ever seen anyone eating while helping a customer. I wish I can take back my tip. Only come here in daytime when it's not busy and operated by children because their snow is really that good. read more

It's so hard to find Taiwanese shaved snow now-a-days and I'm so glad that this place has it! I had to make sure it's not shaved ice, because shaved snow is far more superior. You can choose from their pre-set shave show combo (which only comes in a large size) or you could build your own in smaller cup sizes. I've never experienced anything like Snow Station. It's like shaved ice, but also like.. ice cream? Whatever it is, it's delicious. It's cool to see the staff shave down an enormous block of watery frozen ice cream into a delicious little cloud of deliciousness. I love the assortment of flavors and the seasonal changes. This is a fun spot to take little ones and a great choice if you'd like to share something sweet with a loved one. My only criticism is that something the teens behind the counter get overwhelmed and they will mess up orders / payment. Last time I came in, the person taking payment charged the person in front of me for my treat and there was a bit of frustration on her part. I guess the clerk couldn't refund her, and the teen seemed really overcome by the lady's anger so, I ended up giving her a couple bucks to calm her down. I was hesitant to try this place even with the reviews because it didn't really look super appealing but I was craving snow ice so I came. & I am so glad I came! I got half strawberry and half lychee. The strawberry flavor tastes like yogurt strawberry which I loved, not super sweet. The lychee was a little sweeter but still good. I definitely preferred the strawberry more. The toppings weren't a lot, that's the only downfall. I feel like they could've given more boba, more fruits but even the mango was like not ripe. I also got the mango passion fruit tea and i didn't adjust the sugar like I normally do because the guy said that it wasn't that sweet. My family and I went to check this place out after seeing it on TikTok. We saw it was pretty unique to have shaved ice cream, so we were really excited to try it. The person comes back and is just staring at us and I decide to just start ordering, which again, was met with silence. They looked so done with being there, it was kind of awkward. We all order and sit down, the shop is very cozy and comfortable, which was a huge plus. They called up our orders and we went to get them and I LOVED the consistency and taste. The rest of my family weren't big fans, but they didn't hate it. All in all, the food was good, the portions feel huge, and the ambiance was cozy, but it was heavily outweighed by the employee's attitude and service. The bingsu here is good? But my complaint is mainly regarding the service. Visited tonight oct 11 around 730 PM. Ordered a few things including 2 bingsu and one latte. Had this same latte many times and it's always good and often come here just to pick this latte up (mi soot Garu). Today it just was off so I went up to the girl working and asked her if something was different as it tasted different today. This is where my 1 star experience begins. She just looked at me and then did not say a word and just walked away. I was upset and told her when a customer had a concern, they should try to address it. Finally one of her coworkers stepped in and apologized and asked to remake it. I didn't ask for a remake and walked away. There were 3 workers - two asian guys and one white girl. All three of them then proceeded to go to the back not sure why but kept the front counter manless for a few moments. I have not had Taiwanese shaved ice like this since the Taiwanese shaved ice craze years ago (when they were popping up like craving on every corner). Don't come here expecting Korean bingsoo because that is not what this is at all. Tastes just as good as I remember. Lots of flavors and the ice is soft and fluffy. Taro is okay, not super taro-y, more nutty in flavor. Thai tea and matcha were really good. Will try the fruit flavors next time. I like that they have a variety of different flavored snows, because some places nowadays only serve it water-based We ordered the medium strawberry snow with condensed milk, regular mochi, and strawberries. I loved it. The snow itself was fluffy and refreshing, and it went really wel with the condensed milk. The condensed milk also wasn't too sweet, which I really liked, and you can never go wrong with mochi. Plain and simple, yet soo good. Snow Station is also on the cheaper side.
