I've driven by this place so many times and finally tried it... Why did I wait? This place is fabulous! From the moment we sat down, we were pleasantly impressed. The food was delivered quickly and was very good. We ordered a few spicy items and our mouths were not on fire. Service was very nice, owner would check on us promptly and politely. Prices are VERY reasonable, much better than Rins Thai. A definite recommend. Don't miss it. read more

Super bomb crab fried rice. Ive never had it before but it was really good. location is convient, right downtown area of sanoma off hwy 12. didnt like the inside much at all and it was a very small resturant. you could hear every conversation. i would eat here again but not by my choice. read more

Warm and friendly service by the Thai owners (they are really from Thailand), small but nice and cozy interior with paintings and accessories from Thailand, the best Thai food in Sonoma! E-Saan Thai House in Sonoma is a gem for those who want good Thai food and is just too good to miss. True, the location may lack in the charm, but the restaurant more than makes up for with its food and charm. We have been going to E-Saan for many years and love the service and the food and the kind attention our children receive (it is a child friendly restaurant). Solid Thai food. Portions aren't huge--the three of us were hungry and got three entrees, soup to share, and jasmine rice. $17.00 each including a +20% tip. A super sweet Thai family runs place. Food was a little on the greasy side but all the veggies were very fresh tasting. The pumpkin curry (chicken) was satisfyingly spicy, the spicy lemongrass tofu with red chili paste was flavorful, and the wonton soup was warming and very tasty. We also got the wide noodles with vegetables, which was also good. Went in not expecting much (this place is tiny and right at the side of the Sonoma Highway in Boyes Hot Springs) but we were pleasantly surprised. I came here a couple times and loved it but seems like the portions are getting smaller And the prices are getting higher? This use to my boyfriends and I favorite Thai place. We always loved the service, food and how much we got for our money.We would always make a special trip here if we were in the area. The food is great and the ladies there are very friendly but the last 2 times we have been there it seems like there is less food on our plate then usually but still the same price. This is still good but a little pricey for the amount of food you get. read more

Small & Cosy, most authentic Thai food in Sonoma County. Considering my wife is Thai & an incredible cook that's saying a lot.

I love this place! The people are nice and friendly, they have a gorgeous daughter who serves there once in awhile, and she is incredible, very sweet girl! Great service, food comes out amazing and fast! They make some delicious Fried Rice with Chicken. It has a unique garlicy taste to it that rock your taste buds! They top it off with cilantro and some cucumbers or the side to complete that delicious taste! I really love their Thai Iced Tea, I always come home with it in a togo cup so I can savor it! And also, their Seafood Hot Basil is to DIE for. They make it so fresh. The seafoods had mostly cut salmon which were cooked perfectly to that taste where it was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The basil was fresh like it was from a garden. And the jasmine rice went very well with the basil dish. This place is worth it! read more

Meh. Probably won't go back . . . flavors were fine (albeit bland) but the hair at the bottom of my curry really sealed it for me.

I live around the corner and thought we would try it out and order take out. Read the Yelp reviews like I always do and I must admit that when I saw a negative post about them being cheap on the chicken with just a few pieces, I thought it was an exaggeration. WRONG!! OMG there was a few strips of chicken in both dishes we ordered. Less meat than one small chicken thigh. I give 2 stars only because the taste was good. Best pad thai in town! No doubt about that! However, because there is such limited seating, it's more of a take-out friendly restaurant.

Our experience was overall a tale of two restaurants. The food was very delicious. We had the pad Thai, the chicken red curry and the fresh rolls. Every thing was very tasty but the portions were small, much smaller than Rin's. The big disappointment was the service. They served warm white wine, they only had half an order of fresh rolls available so they offered us half fresh, half spring rolls. We did not want fried rolls so we asked for half chicken satay and our server was very rude about that unreasonable request. But the big problem was they brought us a bowl of soup that we did not order. We thought it might be included with the meal so we ate it. After 3 bites she came and took it away saying it was for another table and then delivered it to them. Disgusting!!! I ate 3 bites and she did not hesitate to serve it to another table. Its rude to take food off the table after you leave it but even worse to serve it to someone else. I can only imagine how unsanitary this place is. read more
