Punch line: don't waist your time with Easirent. Only 1 shuttle runs to DAL. You have to wait 10-15 min between shuttles. We booked through Expedia with a pick up time. We got off the shuttle close to our pick up time. We go into a small room full of people. 7 people in front of us and several in line after us. We are told by the guy at the desk it's going to take 30 minutes per person to pick up our rental. 30min x 7 people = 3 hour wait time. The guy at the desk said that anybody who wants to cancel could. We told him we needed to cancel because we needed to be somewhere and couldn't wait three hours. He gave us a number for reservations and we called the number. Easi-rent said that they were unable to cancel our reservation and that we had to call Expedia. We reached out to Expedia and they said that they would have to reach out to easirent. We got an email the next day from Expedia saying they could not refund us. read more

Leave the rental center to stand in an unmarked area that you HOPE will be right, wait 30 minutes for the "every 15-20" shuttle and then call - only to be on hold for 20 minutes and be told "minutes more " to wait another 20-40 minutes!!! I rented a car online through priceline. When I arrived after a long process, you are shuttled 25 min to location. Then instead of quoted price they required a $500 deposit that was not mentioned anywhere. Refused rental, have made numerous attempts to get my card pending charges released to NO!! avail. I would rather get pepper sprayed in my face than deal with these people. Where to start? Loud obnoxious rap music in the shuttle van from the airport to the rental office. The office smelled like a mix of pizza boxes and marijuana, with more loud rap music coming from the TV. The entire place was dirty with spider-webs in the corners of the ceilings. They looked like the only thing they cared about was getting off work so they could go smoke weed in their apartment. My beautiful family of 6 flew in from Orange County, CA and they made my lovely wife cry in the middle of the fucking night as I stood guard over my children because everything about that place was shady as hell! Needles to say, we took an Uber back to the airport and paid 2X more for a rental car, and I'm so glad we did, well worth it to deal with a professional service! Worst customer service . The two agents at the front desk were chatting with each other while we waited . There were more than 5 customers waiting while they were taking to each other . Very slow service and the location is far from the airport . You get what you pay for !! This is my second time and nothing has changed . If I could give a zero I would..after a 5 hr flight we load into a rental car shuttle to get to the EZ Rent a car pickup spot to get on another shuttle, and wait for 40 min with still no pick up. After calling the ez rent a car place they said it would be 15 min until the shuttle came. As we stand outside with no place to sit and wait, in the sun, with a child, I am beyond disappointed and very angry. How do you treat customers like this? Yes you can use your debit card here to hold your rental as long as you have a return flight. The car that was issued to me was an excellent choice. No bad experience here for me. Needed a rental late at night & and called around. Every agency was out of cars except EZ. I booked a car online and then headed down to pick it up. The online booking was easy and cheaper than to book in person. The place was very difficult to find, the sign was not visible from the road and I think the owners should at least have a small sign out front. We were able to figure it out being from Dallas but an out-of-towner would have some difficulty. Customer service was great, but the line was long as there was only on employee at 10pm checking in reservations. Once we were at the counter the process was quick and easy. They upgraded me due to being out of the car I set up online. When I returned the car the process was quick and easy. I will definitely rent here again. I received a great price for a car rental, but the customer service was not great. The employees are just going through the motions of caring. My vehicle was dirty (externally) to begin and their fleet of cars was somewhat dated. I didn't know that E-Z Rent A Car was not on the lot with the other car rental agencies because I wasn't told that when I rented online. I had to ask people at DAL how to get there. Then I had to wait for this shuttle to take me to what basically a long-term parking lot that EZ was based. I also didn't like that I had paid for my car in advance online but and they put a $500 hold on my credit card. There are better places to rent. WOW not surprised this company has one star. I got a $79 charge for not paying the toll using their rental car. Agent was very rude at the desk, rushing me along and I had no opportunity to read over my entire rental agreement that stated I was responsible for paying the city tolls which are frequent in Dallas. I rented a car from them for 2wk due to an accident I gotten into. I inform them that I might return it early if my claim is settle. They told me I'll be reimbursed for the days that I don't use. My total charge for 14 days was 594.00. I return it 2 days early and was charge 590.00.. I call in to see if it was an error but was inform that it was pro rated. What a joke. Stay clear from EZ RENT A CAR. I'll be reporting them to the BBB and write to all the new channels with PROOF to let them know what kind of company they are. 2nd off!!! If you disregard all the negative comments and do rent with these scammer. Make sure you mark every dent and take picture before you drive off. Before I drove off I told them about the back and front being dented up. They told me they got all that dow etc etc. Came back to return the car and they told me that one of these dent wasn't on there. Try to make me sign a report. Which I didnt sign and told them I'll fight them on this all the way to court. They told me that the car was gone way too long and the dent wasn't there. The people that work here do not give a shit. I lost some medication in the car when I dropped it off. It took 48 hours for someone to confirm that they had it. It's now been three days and I have tried every phone number, every email address that I can find to give them a FedEx number to ship from so that I can resume taking my medication. After 23 minutes on hold with no human contact the phone automatically hangs up. Their direct number I received when they first confirmed they had my medication, after me repeatedly calling with no return phone calls, never has a human answer on the other end. Eventually it just hangs up. I am now on day five without medication, I'm not staying in my hometown so getting a refill is not easy. I feel completely powerless only able to write this yelp review in response to my frustration. read more

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I was in Dallas on a business trip, and I had to extend my reservation by one day. After being transferred around the E-Z Rent A Car customer service line, and waiting around 15 minutes on hold, I was told I had to call this location directly. I tried to do so for several hours, with the phone ringing 10-15 times each call with no answer. I then tried to extend it online, but had heard nothing after 5 hours. I finally, after multiple phone calls was able to get the reservation extended when I refused to go through the customer service pass around...I will NEVER utilize E-Z Rent A Car again...and to top it off, the price versus other companies was comparable, so I really didn't save monetarily for the extremely poor customer service. Seven (7) months after renting a car, I receive an invoice in the mail that states I owe $22.98 ($2.98 toll and $20 admin fees). Number one, I don't live and am not from Texas so I use Waze gps wherever I went during my visit. By default I, always, leave Waze on the feature to avoid tolls, so unless there was an invisible toll, I did not go through one. That was like my tenth (10th) visit to Texas for a Dallas Cowboys game and the first (1st) renting with EZ rent a car. Wow, what a horrible place. I reserved and pre-paid for a car for the week, over two months in advance. When we went to the line of rental car booths, and did not see E-Z Rent-a-Car. I called the customer service line several times but no one answered. I finally found an airport employee that told me to take the airport shuttle. When they dropped me off, it was at Advantage Rental Cars. I went inside the nasty dirty office and the counter employee was able to assign a car to me. They tell who to meet to get to my car, and he preceded to hand me the keys of this dirty damaged ford. My rental agreement was for a Camry, which there were 3 just sitting there. I said I don't want this car, it's disgustingly dirty. He said they would wash it, and I said what about the hail damage all over the car. He just said this is your car. I repeated that my reservation was for a Camry, and there were three right there. He said those are not for you, even though I was prepaid and at the site, I could not get one. I went back inside the crappy office to complain, but there was no one there. I am not kidding. While I was waiting I again called the customer service line, but still no one answered. I called the corporate office and after being on hold for 20 minutes they told me there was nothing they could do. I had to talk to upper management on site. Yes, the same people I couldn't find in the office. I had no choice but to wait for them to wash the car, but then they just cleaned the outside. The inside still had trash. Needless to say I won't use E-Z rent-a-car, not only in Dallas, but nationwide because corporate didn't care anymore than the jerk I was dealing with. But since the one office served both EZ and Advantage, you can be I will avoid both in the future. read more

Great deal, nice car and terrible customer service. Several days after renting car I realize that I did not have my driver's license- I call the main company number and am told I will revive a call. After looking everywhere a relative drive me to the office and the representative walks in the office and brings out the license. She states-"this happens all the time." No one called me to let me know they had my license even though my phone number is one of the ID they collect. I don't understand why you would not. Notify the customer if you keep either their credit card or driver's license. Also when I returned the car I found the building deserted for 15 min. An employee., after 10 min entered the building and said- oh they went to lunch- no sign as to her location or return time- not a good way to run a business that depends on good customer service.. . read more

This is a terribly deceptive rental car company. We rented a car through an online service where easy rental both advertised and sent confirmation of unlimited mileage. At the time of picking up the rental car and finalizing our transaction, the rental agent told us we were not able to have unlimited mileage as boldly stated in my confirmation documentation. She called her supervisor who belittled us and shared that we needed to read all of the fine print which noted that we would not be allowed to have unlimited mileage. They would not budge, offer apologies for the great inconvenience, norm offer suggestions. We were simply out the three days of rental which we have prepaid. Fortunately, we were able to secure a rental through a more reputable company. Other people who were renting cars could not believe the deceptiveness offered to give us a ride to the other rental car company. Beware. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere. I reserved a car at airport weeks ahead but was told it wasn't ready so I'd need to pay extra for a car that was available. That was solved by saying I'd use Uber instead but onto more upselling... fee to add spouse as driver (not common in my experience), prepaid fill up (dumb), $50 for prepaid toll roads 5 days which was only avail for all rental days (told toll road only way to get to my destination which was untrue), plus usual extra insurance etc. but this company over top ridiculous. read more

Hola...I don't get all the hate EZ/Advantage gets,u fly into love field and get your bags...short walk to the airport rental car shuttle area and wait...and wait....then a shuttle comes the sign is wayyyyy small on the hood of the bus where every other company has the bus wrapped in logos....only real complaint....aside normal rental,got my car....drove my car...when you return the car you have to take a ticket like your parking in the commuter parking lot the rental place shares and hand it to the lady for her to open the gate....I didn't know this and was told....2 seconds done....lady was nice,you pull in and follow signs to rows of returned cars where you aren't greeted by anyone....kinda odd,I grabbed my bags and went to counter where they put me in contact with return guy.....Ok PRO TIP TIME,this is my 1st time in the dallas area and the highways are split into paid/non paid roads soooo if you do not have the Texas EZ Pass they charge you a $25 fine plus the cost of the toll for every day you use the paid roads....not knowing this and initially declining the EZ Pass I spoke to the counter help that were awesum and back charged me the $12 a day EZ pass saving me cash....aside from the slow/unlabeled shuttle vans Ez is a good rental spot....check them out for your self,very EZ! read more

Worst car rental experience I've had will not be using this company again. The experience was like dealing with scammers. When I reserved the car the initial reservation said unlimited miles when I completed the online reservation that statement disappeared. Then when I arrived to pick up the car I was told by the clerk that the car was NOT unlimited miles and that I would need to pay an additional $100 for unlimited miles. And because the unlimited miles statement had disappeared when I completed my online reservation I was forced into paying the $100. Then when I went to car I was told to bring it back on a full tank, the tank read at a quarter full. I informed the outside service guy who proceeded to argue with me about bringing the car back full even though it was clearly reading at a quarter of a tank. Eventually, the guy marked on my paperwork the okay for me to bring the car back at a quarter of a tank, but then I had to argue with him about the need to make this same notation on the company paperwork. The next morning I went out to the car an alarm came on indicating the tire was going flat. I called the company who kept transferring and then told me there was nothing they could do and that o would have to replace the tire. I then had to take several hours out of the day to get the tire replaced and spend over $100 on a new tire. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. read more

There is no amount of "good offers" that will ever make me use this company again. The information on the website states that there is a counter in the Dallas Love Field terminal, which there is not. While I was at home in AZ, hubby and son were in TX. I attempted to contact by phone, which resulted in no one answering. Started a chat on the website, was told that they would contact by email. Never happened. Finally I was able to speak to a live person, explained the situation. I was told that if I would have just gone to the website, it gives pick-up instructions. When I asked if someone could contact my husband, I was told, "We can not contact from this office". This is only the beginning of their trip. Please beware of this company. After having to go to Texas on an emergency business trip i booked my rental car from this organization. At the last minute i discovered that i needed to stay an extra day and contacted them via e-mail to extend my trip. I was picked up at Dallas Lovefield by their shuttle. They gave no instructions for where to find the shuttle or which one it was. When i arrived i was told their would be a 200 dollar deposit and i had to pay for the full rental immediately. I reminded the lady behind the counter that i was going to be here an extra day and she said that was fine and upsold me on a $10 per day toll tag feature. The car was crappy, and had stains in the seats, but i took at as i was in a hurry to get to my hotel and worksite. When i dropped my car off they told me that because i had the car an extra day that they would only be giving me a 50 refund on my deposit and that they were charging me for the toll road anyway. Horrible customer service, hidden fees and charges abound and unfortunate cars. I will never rent from this company again. At least their shuttle drivers were nice. read more

Absolute nightmare, I made the reservation online and I informed the agent (Leslie) at EZ Rent A Car (DFW Airport location)K that I have complete comprehensive insurance coverage included on my credit card but she insisted that I buy liability coverage when I said that once you swipe my card and they hold a deposit, my credit card company would charge me a subsidised rate for comprehensive rental car coverage (including liability) for all days. The agent was insistent and would not budge and said they would cancel the reservation, so I agreed and they charged me an additional $83.00 for 4 days. Finally, after I checked into my hotel room, I called my credit card company and requested they provide a declaration of comprehensive insurance coverage including liability as proof for EZ so I could get a refund for the $83. It was a hassle going through these extra steps as I was here on urgent business. I've been to DFW a few times in the past and never faced this issue with Alamo or Enterprize. So be wary of using this company! read more
