One of my favorite brunch places in the city so far! It overlooks the water and alcatraz islands and portions of Fisherman's Warf. Not only is the view great but food is amazing and the servers are usually very attentive and excellent. I missed the breakfast time both times that I visited but I got Avocado Toast with egg - an all day breakfast item. It was delicious and well seasoned. We also loved the Nashville chicken sandwich and blackened fish wrap. Will continue visiting this cafe as a go-to. read more

I encourage you to pay the $2.75 for the bacon, sour cream, etc. on the hash browns. It's a winner. The meh - service. The service up front was friendly and quick. After we ate, it took a loooong time to get our check, which is fine in a busy restaurant, but we observed staffing chatting away for a lengthy time. Like any tourist, we had things to do! Came here on my lunch break early a bit after 11am. I was told they don't serve lunch until 12pm, which was a bit of a bummer because I wanted a patty melt. Decided to order breakfast for my lunch instead. The server Priyanka was very kind and welcoming. Properly checked in on me and made sure I was taken care of. The eggs benedict was ok. The sourdough bread it's served on was very hard to cut. Eggs were overcooked as well. Probably not something I'd order again. Should have gone with the heuvos rancheros instead. Service was great but food was a bit lackluster. Might give it another shot during lunch hours AFTER 12pm. Additionally, the chair I was sitting in felt super high up.
