The salad bar here is the best. Four soups, multiple home made breads, veggies and so much more to try. I went for lunch and they had lunch specials, but they didn't include the soup and salad bar so I skipped that the value meals come with dinner a drink a dessert and the soup and salad bar. I typically take my entrée home and just enjoy the soup and salad bar and today was no different.

The menu is very extensive, lots to choose from. The salad bar looked like a good deal and it had a wide selection too, but since we went for lunch, we got sandwiches, which had generous portions enough for a good lunch. I got the corned beef sandwich, and the coleslaw accompanied the thick slices of meat pretty nicely. But I think I enjoyed the fries more, which were very crispy. I tried both the sweet potato fries and waffle fries upgrade, and the sweet potato fries are pretty addicting. The place can get packed for the weekends, but service is quick. The inside is surprisingly clean despite the crowds and the American eagle theme everywhere makes you want to salute the flag.

I really like the turkey club here and it is only about twelve bucks. You can add the salad bar for a little bit more if you are really hungry. I had the prime rib dip and I would get it again. It was definitely not a mind blowing sandwich but it was good enough that I would get it again. I like the French onion soup , very good but they seem to like to overcook it so ask for them to not cook it too much. The fiber atmosphere is great for people watching and the desert case is amazing. If you get the salad bar you won't have room for desert but maybe get something to go! The last few visits we have been disappointed with their soups , not a fan of their cream based soups but have had many good soups over the years. You should be able to find at least one soup you will like . The breakfasts are also really good , pancakes are my all time favorite!

Worst Diner i have ever been too. This is what i ordered on the menu and then this is what I received. Where in the menu does it say that the whole kitchen sink is on your plate? It didn't come with any bread and instead of just meatballs and pasta it came out with every vegetable you could ever think of. How could this diner possibly mess up this bad. Also look at the pasta. They dont even know how to cook pasta, it was just crumbles. They should have a "worst diner in America" sign on their window because they truly would live up to that name. I wish i could give this place a 0/5 stars because of how terrible it was. The service also stunk. Dont come here!

First of all, I've never had a bad meal here. Anything I've ever had has been tasty and feels homemade. Today I had their special, Chicken Pot Pie. Delish once again. I didn't partake in too much of the ample salad bar today because the pot pie was such a large serving. Today's server, young Mary, was pleasant and returned with my order including special requests to the T. Great job, Mary! Ambiance is standard to almost upscale for a diner experience. If you haven't yet and have a chance to eat here, do so. You won't be disappointed. Unlimited soup and salad bar is always great too.

Nov. 3, 2025 - Great Diner with a great salad bar. Been going there for years. Ordered a 3 egg omlet with bacon plus home fries & toast, glass of water. Got my food hot and fresh in 10 minutes. Large portions. Cost $10.28.

It just seamed like they threw in lime juice or mojito mixer and threw in 2 lime wedges and mint leaves and a lot of liquor. Limes were not muddled with the mint leaves and sugar like mojitos usually are. The lime juice or mixer they use did not taste good and it lacked sweetness. When we sent it back the bar tender became visible upset and appeared to be giving our server a very hard time. The returned mojito was also not removed from the bill. We then tried a margarita. It lacked sweetness and was very tart. We fixed it by asking for a little agave to add to it. Here's was the deal breaker for us. Thier lack of willingness to make minor adjustments or substitutions to anything even for a food allergy is absolutely unacceptable. For example: You won't be able to switch a side or ask for any adjustments to thier meals or cocktails. We asked about making a minor adjustment to a drink due to a food allergy. The drink was topped with a foam and we asked if we could leave out the foam. It would not have changed anything about how the drink was made aside from it simply not being topped with this foam. The answer was a hard no, the owners do not allow it. The manager came and talked to me. She was pleasant and I appreciated her taking the time to hear my feedback. However, it was very clear that I was wasting my breath because the owners are very particular and strict about not changing anything. It was not a good experience. We paid our bill, gave the server a good tip and took our business elsewhere.

From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. Looks like a fun place to hang out. It's definitely a place we'd consider visiting again.

Driving by simply delicious many times on York Rd. I have been curious. Today was the day curiosity finally killed the cat literally and figuratively. When you don't hear anyone talking about an establishment locally, that should tell you something - when I asked others about simply delicious. No one had even heard of it. Come to find out it's been an existence for quite some time. What is basically a glorified coffee shop simply delicious yarns to be a posh café/bakery. In reality it leaves a lot to be desired. From the moment we walked into the unfriendly faces. The semi tableservice, (order at counter and they bring it to you) the overpriced food, and the coffee/tea served in paper cups. This is definitely not a sit down place. More of a grab and go type of joint. The hungry man sandwich was served on brioche "toast" that was dry crumbling, and not at all sufficient to handle the weight of the sandwich. The sandwich itself was assembled haphazardly and lacked any real cohesion in both flavor and texture. The platter special consisted of French toast bacon sausage patties (house made) and eggs your way. Mine were scrambled and were decent enough. The bacon seemed high quality but could have cooked a bit longer. The house made sausage patties were overcooked and tough with more spice than I would have desired. The French toast was well soaked in the egg mixture and more than enough for a serving. Probably ranking high on the list of French toast I've had. However, I don't believe it is a staple of the menu. It was a special of the day. I would only really recommend simply delicious when the yearning for a good scone comes around. Either that if looking for a quiet place to sit and chat with an old friend over a scone and coffee - there isn't much of a crowd so it would be the perfect place to catch up. As for me, and he, not likely to return. Far too many other options locally, that have better ambience, food, prices, and most importantly people who are happy to see you and make you feel welcome.
