It wasn't a great experience. We initially read the reviews and felt comfortable that people are recommending them so we went with it. The BIGGEST PROBLEM we had, is that they promised us they can hold our stuff for an extended amount of time beyond the 1 month free storage that comes with the move. But they didn't! We were very thorough with our request and we even asked how much it would cost for the extended storage and they confirmed it is around $150/month, and we were OK with it. We relayed on that in planning our move. When we called to extend storage time, they said they can't hold our stuff longer than a month!! (Imagine the surprise) and it has to be delivered to us before the month is up. We had no place and rushed to rent one so they can deliver our stuff to it, otherwise we would have to rent another storage and deal with another move and unload later. When we said we were promised that, their argument was that we don't have a proof of that promise since it was given to us over the phone! CUSTOMER SERVICE! Also, they have a policy of a delivery window for up to 2 weeks from your requested delivery date and they can't guarantee a date, so you wouldn't know when you're getting your stuff and have to stay stand by waiting for the truck driver to text you two hours before delivery ... very inconvenient .. The one star is for delivering the stuff from Seattle to San Francisco safely, but I would NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but this is probably the worst experience I've had with any company. They will misquote you to give you the best price and then when they arrive tell you they misquoted. I spoke with both Sam and Michael who kept telling me they would call me back but they never would. So they are terrible with communication. It was a stressful day and even the movers had attitude and passive aggressiveness. Please consider this review and look for a different company even if they quote you more. (If you want more info keep reading) I was originally quoted $5,000 for my 2 bedroom apartment but somehow they misquoted and now it's $7300, how it was that far off from the original quote I do not understand. I wouldn't have minded if it was $1000 difference but $2300 was not expected. They their computer miscalculated so we asked the movers to put in the truck what would the $5000 be and it included literally only the furniture items, none of our boxes or miscellaneous things. We even took stuff off the list and it was still $7300. They quoted us for 10 small boxes and 20 large boxes and we had less than those amounts. They also said that my king mattress was miscalculated, which doesn't make sense because it is a standard size, not a CA king or anything. So if you've read this far, please keep in mind they will miscalculate your move and you'll end up paying significantly more. read more

Very professional and budget friendly service, can only recommend. Price included 30 days of storage service also, which i didnt use. They can also supply packing supplies. DO NOT HIRE!!!! Here is the list of damages incurred. 1. 2 Antique Lamp bases and shades 2. Antique hamper 3. Shoe stand base (concrete) and 7 pairs of shoes scuffed and ruined. In addition, I am livid at the fact that we were not able to inspect the furniture and other items before the movers demanded payment.  When I asked if we could inspect our items -- he slammed the back of the truck, lit a cigarette and said no. Movers were 4 hours late to deliver the furniture and items. They shoved the broken items into the closet so we could not see them. We discovered them while they were there and I asked about it.  One of the movers said they were already broken. I am horrified at the events.  I have never had this kind of interaction with a moving service.  Additionally, the fact that THEY demand cash - is more than a little shady. I have yet to hear from the owner regarding the damages or insurance claim. read more

I had Dan and Mike help with my move today. Granted they were running late, but I understood it wasn't their fault. They were really cool and nice. They moved everything in a quick and orderly fashion. They moved my belongings with care. The one thing I didn't like was the company that I hired movers for. I've used this company before and it was phenomenal. The 2nd time around it was not. The guy that booked my move made some mistakes while booking, and had to correct them. On top of that, the company did not tell the movers any information about the move except for the addresses, which resulted in having me be charged extra for other things that should have been addressed during my booking. I was told that the movers would charge me on the day for certain things, but with the information I gave the company, they should have added the charge for stairs with my base price, so I could have been prepared on the day I paid the movers. All in all it was an OK experience compared to the first experience. I'm not sure if I'll use this company again. We shall see. read more

We booked this place to move. Had a tight schedule planned. We were running a little behind and called to ask if they could come at 930am instead of 9. They said sure. 10, 1030 rolls around not a peep. We called to see where the movers were. The guy on the phone said that one of his movers wasn't coming and they couldn't be there until some time between 2-4. And we only knew that because WE called THEM. What if we hadn't called? Luckily we were able to book another moving company for the same day who actually showed up when they said they would (still before 2, even on such short notice). Their quoted price was good, but their lack of professionalism was amazing- in a bad way. I definitely do not recommend this place if you have any kind of schedule to keep. I was definitely very skeptic when these 3 small frame guys showed up to move me out of my old 2nd floor (no elevator) place in Belmont Shores. To DTLB 2nd floor with one working elevator. I was absolutely impressed when I tell you they are strong despite size, they wrapped my furniture and packed some miscellaneous items up. Took all my TVs off the wall no problem, neatly packaged any screws and pertinent items. I wasn't uncomfortable around them like I was with my previous movers (seem like they just got released). Very polite and helpful didn't let me carry anything heavy. They had my entire home in the truck in 3hrs. The delay was at my new place, sharing one elevator with residents & deliveries. I was exhausted from packing and all that come with moving. I can only imagine how they felt going up and down stairs, lifting. I tipped them $50 each and felt like it wasn't enough because although it was only like 1 1/2 bedroom (sofa, clothes, table, chairs, bed) no appliances. The tough part was the access (stairs & long wait for the elevator). I will definitely recommend them for the price and efficiency along with how quick they were. They would definitely master the game Tetris because they know how to use every inch of space. Next year when I buy my home I will be calling. Be kind and give a nice gratuity to our essential workers and small businesses. It's tough out here for us all. read more

Run! Our partial load move across country was brokered through National Movers who assigned the move to Aknazar Moving LLC aka Get-R-Done Moving. First they sent 2 young kids who said they had never done this before to pack and load the stuff from the storage unit. As a result nothing was properly documented. They immediately said we had more cu. ft. than quoted and wanted an additional $1800. From what I've read, this is normal policy for this company. When we refused they ended up saying they would then only move what they considered to be the quoted quantity (which didn't look to us like it equaled the quoted cu.ft.). The rest we shipped UPS which luckily only cost us a few hundred dollars. Then they kept everything in their local warehouse for 4 weeks before finally shipping it. When our load finally arrived it was a disaster. Everything breakable was broken: glassware, dishes, picture frames, etc. and many items were scratched. At least two boxes, a large vase and an expensive oriental rug were missing. All kitchenware and appliances were missing. Every box had been opened and anything of value was gone. To top it off they damaged the LVT floors in several places by roughly moving in the furniture. And they don't care. Their only response is to say file a claim which is a joke because the claims company they use is known for never paying claims. In my opinion they are nothing but thieves who will try to rip you off for more money then steal everything they can. Stay away! read more
