We received a hefty amount of quotes to move 2 households into 1. Decided to go with Ursa. They are priced competitively and are fast and efficient. The job was decent, the guys worked really really hard. I did expect a longer truck and we practically ran out of room for everything but they made it work. I did have to have a Lugg deliver my leftover items. The best part about this company is something was damaged and they repaired it which was above and beyond. So, let me preface it by saying I wish I'd have written down the names of the gentlemen who helped us, because they were all incredible and deserved to be recognized. There were four men who arrived on time and really stood out immediately with their care to our items and professionalism. When we'd last moved, it seemed like the movers had one thing in mind--getting it done as quick as possible. This meant handling our items too roughly, not wrapping items, stacking them haphazardly in the truck, and zero communication. These young men with Ursa moving arrived with their own boxes for our furniture and their own wrapping supplies just in case we hadn't wrapped or packed things up properly. We had an entire home to pack up and move in one day, which included many heavy storage units and a particularly awkward and large refrigerator. The furniture was undamaged and pristine, anything that needed to be taken apart was taken apart and put back together perfectly, the only thing that broke was aflower pot that my mom decided she was going to move herself (whomp whomp, shoulda left it to these guys hahaha). They cleared each of the two bedrooms quickly, taking care to wrap components of the bed and label baggies with the hardware correctly, and cleared them in no time at all. These guys must have the highest scores on Pacman because all of our furniture fit along with the appliances and storage units perfectly. There was the gym equipment, which included a Peloton, all three large televisions were wrapped, the heavy gym equipment was wrapped and moved with such care you'd have thought it was their own belongings. The tricky part wasn't here yet, though...now came the move and carrying everything up the staircase with two landings. I was very happy to have been able to supply them with water and energy drinks throughout the day and I could tell they appreciated and needed it. We took a break when we arrived at the house we were moving into for lunch and ordered some pizza for the family and for the movers. It was nice to see them sitting down enjoying one another's company in conversation and laughter before the transfer from the truck began. Though dripping in sweat profusely and working so hard immediately after lunch, these men remained efficient, beyond respectful, and the definition of professional. We thought the move would be about four hours, but in the end, they ended up working with us for seven and a half hours and it was worth every penny. If we should ever need movers again, we will for sure call Ursa moving. Seriously, ya'll, look no further than this company for all of your moving needs! read more

After searching and reading reviews on Yelp, I decided to go with Ursa Moving. Jake was the one I was in touch with, and he was very prompt with responses. We hired three movers to move things into a three-bedroom house. They were prepared with dollies, wraps, blankets, and big moving boxes. We did have to bring things down one flight of stairs from the second floor of an apartment building. They were very careful with everything. They helped us move an upright piano; this was an extra $150 charge. They started around 9:30 AM and were done by 3 PM. Great work and friendly service. Cannot recommend enough!! During consultations, I told Jake that I would need help packing as well and moving and Jake was understandable and agree to offer the service. The day before the moving date Jake called to confirm and I once again mention that I would need help packing. The day of the move, the two movers seems surprised that they would need to help me pack. They ask me if I have more boxes, I assume that they would come with their own box. They left a lot of stuff at my old apartment that I end up having to bring myself. They even ask if I have enough space in my car to put the stuff that they pack. After they drop off my stuff at my new place one of the guy asked me for a tip and wouldn't leave until he gave me his number so I can Zelle him. I was already going to give them a tip but got the ick after they demand a tip. After being force to tip, and he received my money he say 'shit' and showed his partner the amount. He was going to charge me extra if I didn't catch him. After that they force me to leave a good review on yelp and wouldn't leave until I do and took a picture of the review. After I came back to my old place to do a walk around, I see they left some damages on the wall. And they left cans of Red Bull and Arizona tea at the door of both my apartment. I am very disappointed, Jake is really nice and accommodating and it is unfortunate his worker is not. read more
