My friend and I just had breakfast here for the first time yesterday: we both loved it and will definitely be back. I was so impressed by the interesting selection on the menu, the friendliness of the staff and who I assume to be the owner (who came to ask how our meal was and engaged in a very pleasant conversation with us about our experience), and how well prepared the food was. The facility was quite large so even though we arrived for a later breakfast at 10:00, we were still seated within a couple of minutes. The only suggestion I would make is that I was sitting on the benches that line the front window: I was so tempted to lean back against the window, but there is an uncomfortable ledge there. Maybe put some kind of low back on the benches so customers seated there can make themselves a bit more comfortable? This place is fantastic and I'd recommend it to anyone! read more

Me and my mother stopped by after I had some medical testing and we needed something good to eat. The restaurant was rather busy and I asked the young lady who is seating us if we could possibly have a booth because I'm very uncomfortable sitting in the middle of the Room, she was incredibly accommodating an exceptionally polite. We ordered a ham and cheese omelet, sausage, bacon, fruit bowl and grilled corn muffin. The grilled corn muffin is a revelation! Not too sweet, warm and covered in butter, delicious. The omelette was well done as I asked for. The sausage and bacon were golden brown and delicious. The fruit bowl was another highlight for me, fresh strawberries, blueberries, and cantaloupe, all ripe and the perfect sweetness and temperature. The server was kind, smiling, accommodating, and speedy. The manager came over to speak with us, he was a nice man, who was clearly paying attention to our feedback, that is important to me. Corporate chain restaurants are required to visit the patrons, but this man was doing it so that he could see if anything needed to be changed to better his establishment. I felt that the exchange was genuine and rather enjoyable. I don't give 5 stars lightly, but Early Harvest is now my go to breakfast venue. read more

Great food! The lox benedict is the best benedict I've ever had. We just found this place and is immediately in our regular rotation. Quality all the way through, abundant servings, friendly service, home style preparations if you are an excellent cook. In a sea of higher priced joints that offer mediocre food, this little diner is a gem. The guacamole, whose light tang of lime is refreshing, is hand-made for each individual serving, and the care taken is evident. Ask for chimichurri (!) with any omelette and you won't be disappointed. Even the home fries are a standout. If I heard that the owners have a crew of Druids working magic in the kitchen, I wouldn't be completely surprised, but more likely they simply care about what they do. Don't miss this one. read more

Recently I was in Beverly with my wife we were getting my shoes from Beverly Podiatry. We came out of the building (900 Cummings Park). We noticed this place tucked in on the other side of 900 Cummings a little further down on the left. The place is very clean. The service is excellent it's a nice place with a little atmosphere. I got my usual western which came with home fries,marble rye bread,with apple juice. They use a chopped spiral ham in their western. You can also get it on as a side dish as well. My wife had scrambled with home fries,bacon (came with 4 slices,most places we have had breakfast at,give you three). My western was perfect and flavorful. The home fries were made just right,not over cooked like some other breakfast places,and very tasty. My wife was highly satisfied as well. We even took home extra home fries,the portions were so much.I highly recommend this Diner for breakfast if you're in the area. I also found out through one of there employees that they had another place in Wakefield. I live in Melrose so I will be eating there in the near future. read more

As an icy dread was imperiling all excursionists, this diner located in the Cummings Center in Beverly MA held back the onslaught and rewarded those who entered it warm embrace. Modern yet rustic upon walking in the door with a very friendly and attentive waitstaff. The menu offered traditional diner legends, but also included a few interesting twists. It is immediately evident that they make their own corn beef hash, chimichurri sauce, and hot sauces (delicious!), as well as providing several fresh squeezed juices available daily depending on the best ingredients they can locate to be squeezed. Little is known about their squeezing process. Lori satiated herself with the Red Eye wrap substituting tomatoes for bacon (statistics documenting the rarity of this request were unavailable as of press time) and a grilled bagel with cream cheese. The red eye had the spicy chimichurri sauce which had great flavor but limited spiciness. However, the leather tongues of the authors (at least when compared to most New England residents) may influence individual experiences in this area. However, given this knowledge, the previously mentioned homemade hot sauce was a highlight as it had great flavor and a decent kick, like that of a pissed off pony that leaves your ribcage fully intact but sore in the morning. Greg had the Chimichurri omelet, containing a "hefty hefty" portion of turkey, with side of corn beef hash (In Greg's estimation part of the holy trinity of diner yardsticks, the others being hollandaise sauce and gravy, not to be confused with the First Triumvirate of ancient Rome. Lori has some strange beliefs on its inclusion.). The corn beef was clearly homemade, delicious, and came with peppers and onions. This diner has officially been added to the official list. Their all day breakfasts are amazing, but I have to give a shout out for the lunch items also! The burgers are excellent. The "rebirth" with bacon, avocado, fresh asparagus and fresh spinach was perfection. The chicken lemon soup is my favorite. It is loaded with chicken and very flavorful. House-made corned beef is great--whether it is in a sandwich or in the best ever hash. The diner is bright, airy, clean and staffed with great people.
