    Berry topped French Toast!

The food was great and the service was quick and friendly! I also had a side of eggs and bacon that were really good too.

Veggie omelette, home fries and toast. No seasoning on anything...it was blah!

The service was good. The place is clean and was pretty much empty when I walked in to place a to go order. It took about 15 minutes to get my breakfast order. The prices were reasonable. The food was blah! I got a veggie omelette with bacon. The vegetables were over cooked and then skimmed me on the cheddar cheese. Nothing was seasoned. So if you're eating to live it's an ok place to eat. If you want to taste your food skip it

Early waffle was such a cute atmosphere. Very comfortable mom and pop style family restaurant. It is fairly small in there but we didn't have to wait for a seat. The staff was super friendly. And my food was delicious! I got 3 wings and when I say they were seasoned to perfection! Even the actual meat was seasoned not just the skin. I also had the 2 egg breakfast with hash browns and they were also good. My mom got the waffle and she really enjoyed it. She said it was good and fluffy. We definitely enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back.

Stopped here after church to grab some brunch. We dined in and were able to sit ourselves. The waitress came over within 5 mins of us sitting. Our orders were taken quickly and wait for food was not long at all. It's a cozy, mom and pop restaurant with a good southern food menu. The food was cooked to order and everything had flavor. Chicken tenders were seasoned to perfection. Would recommend to others and would def visit again.

It's small and quaint. The loaded hash was delectable. I wish the added cinnamon or vanilla to their waffles. It fell a little flat. They ran out of biscuits and salsa, so I used the jalapeño hotsauce, which was decent. Our sever forgot to place their order, and they waited over an hour for food. Mine came immediately (I was late), which prompted them to ask where their plates were. They also got their eggs mixed around. I thought the food was just "ok"; nothing to write home about. However, I did find the eggs light and fluffy, though. So, it was a win for me!

My daughter and I popped in here for an impromptu brunch. The restaurant is small and cozy. Norma, was our waitress she welcomed us in and offered us a table. Norma, was very personable and friendly. My waffle wasn't bad but definitely 5 star presentation, however. My daughter had buffalo wings and fries. They were good. This is a brunch spot that closes at 3 PM. It's a great place to pop in to grab some bites in between meals. Mimosa's would be great but they don't serve alcohol.... yet.

    Waffle best thing ever!

Great service. Loved my waffle. Sausage was not a good patty. I wish they had real patties. Western omelette was very tasty. Coffee was pretty bland. They need a better blend.

Visited the Early Waffle on a Sunday morning. This place is rather small. This restaurant has a Mom and Pop feel. The menu is straight to the point. There is nothing over the top or fancy about the restaurant or menu. The staff was friendly and the service was good. I will definitely revisit.

Hole in the wall place but really good, simple home made breakfast. We love going here.

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. They even have a "Dietary Preference" menu (look for it online), with keto, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Some servers aren't aware of this menu, but they will see it in their Toast device if they look for it. We have landed on a couple of favorite dishes that are repeats for us. I like the Spanish Omelet keto-style. Instead of a biscuit and grits, you get a half of an avocado (sliced) and a roasted tomato. The omelet is always full of flavor, and I love it. My husband's favorite is their White Chocolate Bread Pudding Pancakes, with bacon ($2 extra). Don't let the name deter you--these pancakes aren't too thick. They are slightly chewy, and the white chocolate whiskey sauce is amazing. He rarely uses the syrup! Ruby's coffee is always good and strong, and their service is great, no matter who you get. I'm already thinking of when we will return next!

The service is always fast and friendly, and of course, the food is good! I started with the fried green tomatoes, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. They were fried so well and topped with bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a tasty remoulade. I'm still thinking about them honestly! For my entrée, I ordered the 3 Little Pigs Omelet. Unfortunately, it was a bit underwhelming. It was smaller than I expected and didn't really resemble an omelet. It was a little messy and slightly runny for my taste. On the side, I added a single pancake and a bowl of grits, both of which were delicious though. I had a good experience and will definitely be back. I just wish the omelet had been prepared a little better.

It took me a minute to decide because everything sounded so good! Everything we ordered was flavorful and hit the spot. You can tell they don't cut corners when it comes to taste. They have two locations, and we visited the Rozzelles Ferry location, which was a great choice because there was more parking available. Just a heads up--both locations get pretty busy on weekends, but the line moves quickly, so the wait isn't too bad. If you're visiting Charlotte or just looking for a solid brunch option, this is definitely worth checking out
