Worst moving experience ever! I have had 3 moves between US and Canada in the last 3 years and this was hands down the worst moving experience we encountered. The first 2 moves were a hassle like all moves usually are but I was given a service I was told I will be given for the price that was quoted. With Earth Relocation however, the price I was quoted at first was ~$1800, the price I paid was ~$4800. The amount I paid was more than the total sum of my previous 2 moves and the number of items I moved was the same (if not less) than what I moved the previous 2 times. I had to give up and pay the money because my good were held hostage with them. All attempts at trying to negotiate a lower cost were refused. Even when I offered to let go some of my stuff to reduce my cost they said that would end up costing me more if I try to dispose stuff that they were holding from me. Every step of the moving process was a nightmare. There was no explanation or no transparency on what services would be included in their initial quote. I know, part of is my fault too. I should have asked the questions. But because my previous 2 experiences were all handled so well by the movers and they were guiding me through the process I foolishly assumed Earth will do the same too. Here are some details on what additional cost I ended up paying: 1) They told me that packing service was included in my initial quote. Turns out later that as per their movers, there was a lot of packing material used so there was extra packing cost added. 2) The movers who came to pack my stuff, started packing all my furniture in boxes. I asked them to just put furniture blankets over them, to which they told me that this is a service they provide. Not even one mentioning to me that this is costing me money. 3) They do not come to review your furniture while quoting. They expect you to give them an accurate assessment on how many boxes I would need. During the quoting process the furniture I stated was the furniture I moved. In terms of the boxes I may have underestimated a few boxes. But this is where I expect them to come and review my stuff and tell me how much they would expect my stuff to be rather than expecting me to know. They are moving "experts" after all. When all was said and done, I was slapped with a higher quote stating that I had lot more stuff than quoted. 4) Earth uses a lot of other vendors to do most of their work so they dont have any control on what is going on with different phases of the move. 5) Even paying the money to them was a hassle. When I was booking earth relocation, they conveniently accepted credit card without any surcharges. But when the time to make the payment came, they again come back and say that there is a surcharge for credit card payment. Wire transfer ended up charging me extra money. 6) In my previous moves, the company that moved my stuff, accepted payment when they got the stuff to my door. They processed the payment and then moved the goods in. With earth it is like a hostage situation. They dont release your stuff till you pay them. I seriously question this. How do I trust that they would bring over my stuff after they take my money. I think it is only fair they come to my door step with the goods and take the money from me before they unload. 7) Finally, the custom clearance step also was made difficult. With my previous movers, the moving company came with me to the custom office (which you have to go anyways). They guided me there and they took all paper work they needed from me there. With earth, I had to go to their office first, pick up documents and then go to the custom office. Extra step that I had not done before. In summary, I dont think this company has what it takes to move goods. Avoid this if you can. So much negotiation with them ended up wasting my time. Don't ever use this company....they will double your bill and they don't care if you are unhappy. They are not professional and they have no ethics. They should be put out of business as they are con artists and liars. We were quoted $4700 to move our things from New Jersey to Winnipeg, Canada. They said it would take one to two weeks. Two weeks after our furniture was in transit, they emailed to say that our stuff was crossing the border, not telling us what border they were crossing. They then ignored our emails and phone calls for the next few days and finally informed us that we would get our stuff the following Monday. They left out the part about our stuff having to then be delayed by the local mover, which took another 4 days. It took three weeks to get our things, the communication was awful. They ignored our phone calls and emails for days. Then, after our stuff was in transit, they told us the total bill would be $10,900, more than double the original quote. They had our stuff, what could we do? We complained, and complained and complained. They are ignoring us now and don't care that they basically committed fraud. For what they charged us, we could have left all our furniture and bought all new. We would have never agreed to the final price. They low balled the quote and then held our stuff hostage until we paid. read more

International move from Irvine, CA to London. We move every 3-5 years, and until now, I hadn't found a mover I would use again. I was very impressed and happy with our international move. 1. The quote was within the range of other international movers and much lower than the partners recommended by our company's relocation "experts." 2. I had concerns about a couple of reviews regarding shipments to Europe. When I spoke with Kapil about the quote, I told him about my concerns regarding the price and time in transit as listed in those reviews. Kapil talked me through what would cause price changes or time issues. The answers: going over the space you reserve, needing storage at the destination, and not realizing it can take 3 months for international shipping. Kapil also gave me his personal number to call in the event there were any problems regarding the shipment. 3. Barry (shipping associate) sent emails with all of the information and paperwork required for import/export and nudged me to be sure these were completely in a timely manner. 4. We only had a couple of weeks to arrange shipment (and a holiday weekend, which complicates truck availability at the port.. check on this when booking). Barry and Kapil made sure our container could be delivered to our house on the date needed... which was one day earlier, due to aforementioned holiday. 5. Their team arrived on time and loaded every single inch of our container. We had planned to sell or remove more of our belongings, but they allowed us to take some things that have turned out nice to have overseas. Again, we did not go over our allotted space, so our price remained the same. 6. They have a great tracking website to monitor where your shipment is at all times around the world. It took our shipment almost 3 months to the day, which was as we had expected. 7. They work with excellent vendors in the UK. We were notified early that our shipment was expected and asked to finalize any paperwork and shipment information. 8. The shipment arrived at our new home exactly when they said it would (to the hour). The movers again worked hard and had the shipment unloaded within 2 hours. 9. Everything was delivered in excellent condition. Even small items that had been packed in open top jars didn't tip over and arrived exactly as packed. I highly recommend Earth Relocation for shipments to the UK. Have your paperwork (especially TOR) done early, know the amount of space you need to reserve and expect your shipment to take up to 3 months to reach you. Finally, ask questions about any concerns you might have! I'm sometimes afraid to ask about bad reviews, but in this case, it alerted them to my concerns and I think that made the overall communication about expectations for an international shipment clear. Kapil even arrived at my house during loading to make sure everything was going well. I am seriously surprised this was an excellent experience and we even recommended them to our new employer for other overseas moves. read more

The worst moving company and awful service. There has been so many issues and none of them were resolved. Following are just some of bits of my experience: 1. Sent a quote, picked up the things and then required to pay 3 times more. suddenly from 1k the price grew to 3k out of blue... 2. I had to deal with 3 different ends for some reason and neither would take responsibility for their poor service, attitude and actions. So, there has been months of trying to reach out some resolution, emails and calls with no results. 3. I moved to a different country and according to the laws of the country a person coming to live here pays no customs. While, the company has been emphasizing that there will for sure be customs to pay and they will help to make them less, moreover, did not provide any information whatsoever of the process and vaguely asked to "provide documents". I kept asking what documents do you need? And the answer was "documents for customs" the only document they asked specifically was an empty excel sheet they sent in that was to be filled with every single item in the shipment and its value. I kept asking do you need my work contract or marriage cert. or visas? And kept receiving answer send in whatever you think we need. This attitude was unacceptable and having received no clear instructions or reasonable list of documents, I had to start emailing and calling customs myself to find out what actual documents are needed. Having done the work myself that I have paid the company to do, but they weren't bothered about it, I finally gathered all the documents that were actually needed, just to note not a single document that the company has mentioned was actually required by the customs. I came to know that the shipment was sent out before all this was taken care of and while they weren't bothered in doing their work it ended up in the customs storage which, unfortunately, applies charges. However, till this day I am not quite sure if that is true, as the customs sheet showed no charges, but the company provided me with some third party bill. 4. Before even the pick up was arranged I have clearly specified that there will be a 10 day period that I will be unavailable to email or pick up phone, I provided the exact dates and asked to please have it arrange either before or after those days. I was hospitalized and undergoing the surgery, however, during these specific days I kept receiving email after email after email. Once I brought up that I asked to not disturb during these days I got the answer " I have not heard this from anyone, no one informed me". 5. After finally clearing the customs I got an email that my shipment is placed in their storage, but they will not deliver it to me as there is no green light for delivery. I have emailed the company asking what is going on and I have gotten a straight up lie for an answer that the shipment was not paid for and they have been trying to contact over and over again with no avail. While the payment has been made a month ago and there has been not a single call or email received from the company about them not being able to see the payment. Have not even received "we are sorry we did not see the payment", just some vague excuse that the accountant did not manage to notice the payment.... 6.However, I still find it unacceptable to be charged the customs storage fee for the mistakes that appeared from the company's side, but to that I have received a forward of all my mails saying it is my fault that I did not provide the documents on time, while to be honest I was not even informed about the time frame, let alone the actual needed documents, the shipment was sent before all that was taken care of, thus, I reached out to the main office who called my claim baseless and that I should look into the attached file, but there was nothing attached. 7.So at this point it has been about two months I still have not received my shipment. Only now I receive an email saying "By the way, we are charging you extra for storage for all this time". 8.Being absolutely in shock of such poor service and attitude, I try to email the main office asking for a support or client complaint department email several times and receive not even a reply. My last hope was a call. I call in asking to be forwarded to a manager or given an email of someone in charge, but the lady on the phone refuses claiming she will help me out, we go through the situation together, and she ends with I quote "It seems like you feel really sour about the whole situation. Let me email everyone asking to waiver the charge and have you delivered your shipment as soon as possible. I attach you to the email and hope this will get resolved." I have received neither the promised email, nor the shipment. It is soon to be three months and I still have not received my shipment. read more

I would like to explain my experience in detail since I think it may help other people decide not to work with this company. Long story short: nothing got broken in the move, which is good. The rest was all bad. Following is the whole story. On December 2013 I moved from New York City to the UK, and my new company was reimbursing some money towards my move, so I decided to take some of what I had with me. Earth Relocation contacted me after I filled in an online form detailing the list of items to move. In that initial estimate they counted 350 cubic feet (cft), and gave me a rate of $7 per cft. On top of that was the insurance (which I declined), and some other fixed costs, which other companies had as well. They also stated that transit time was 4-6 weeks. Four other companies contacted me, all estimating around 300 cft but with higher rates. That made me decide for Earth Relocation, since I thought that $7/cft was a good deal. They came to my apartment to have a more detailed estimate, and then they came up to 290 cft (that was closer to the other companies), but then the rate went up to $8.25. Now if you do the math: 350 * 7 = $2450 290 * 8.25 = $2392.50 So less than $60 difference for a 60 cft difference! I pointed out to them that this seemed funny, and after negotiating we agreed that the rate would be of $7 per cft if it was over 300 cft, and that if it was below that (say 290) then I would pay only $2100, as if it was exactly 300 cft. I fought hard for this, because it seemed that they were trying to avoid to put that in writing. At the end I had to write it myself in the contract, before signing. They came to my place and loaded everything, the whole process didn't last too long and was quite clean. I should say that they knew what they were doing. The only thing that bothered me is that they refused to tell me how much volume they were taking. Things changed right after this. It took them 8 days (yes, 8) to tell me what the total volume had been: they had picked up the things on the 16th of December, and I got the invoice on the 24th. And guess what: the volume had gone up, back to 346 cft! So all that discussion about the different rates was bogus: they had a price in mind (about $2400) and the rest is confusion. But it was even "better" than that: the rate was not $7 as agreed, but $8.25! I replied asking them correct it back to $7, and also asked about what payment options did they have. It took them 20 days (from the 25th of December to January 16) and me sending them several emails to "revise" that invoice. When I sent them a credit card authorization form, they charged me an extra 4.5% because of using the credit card, without warning me (it took them about a week, and some more emails and calls, to explain me that). I could have paid by other means, but they never replied the email where I asked about other ways to pay. The company working with them in the UK delayed my delivery by about two weeks on top of that, because according to them they could not find someone going my way (my new location is less than 2h from London). They also wanted to charge me about $100 because they claimed that my goods were scanned at the port, but I never saw an invoice and I guess that eventually they forgot that they had told this to me. Very unprofessional looking, to the point that the phone number that they list in their email signature is wrong. At the end, it took Earth Relocation a total of 8 weeks and one day to deliver (remember that they promised 4-6 weeks?), and they told me that the increase of volume was due to "palletizing". I asked them why don't they include this potential increase in their estimate (we don't have awkwardly shaped objects that were being sent), but they told me that they cannot do that because they cannot foresee what this change will be (so they estimate it to be 0%, I guess). All in all, lots of hidden costs, hard to reach (when discussing this issue, at the end they refused to pick up the phone). Oh, after all the complaining they tried to offer me a $75 refund so that I did not write a bad review. When I reported to BBB they raised it to $100. I'm afraid that it was not enough. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against the companies Earth Relocation and Inchcape Shipping Services Kuwait, and I also intend to file a lawsuit, on the following grounds: (1) FAILURE TO PACK GOODS PROPERLY, RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO NUMEROUS ITEMS: A large wooden bookcase was wrapped in BROWN PAPER ONLY, with no added protection. Predictably, this was broken beyond repair. A glass desk was also wrapped in BUBBLE WRAP AND BROWN PAPER ONLY; this too was broken. This desk is irreplaceable. Even the unpackers in Kuwait remarked on how inadequately packed these items were. A number of clothes (jackets and suits) were creased beyond repair. We provided PHOTOGRAPHS of all these items. (2) FAILURE TO REIMBURSE US FOR THE DAMAGE: Even though the damage to our goods amounted to over $800 - beyond the $500 deductible, the insurance company - UNIRISC - refused to pay us ANYTHING, saying that the damaged items were "not covered." Clearly, this insurance company's "rules" are written so that they do not have to pay anything. This arrangement between the shipping company and the insurance company ensures that NEITHER of them takes responsibility for the damaged goods. Clearly, the damage resulted from the shipping company's inadequate packing - and yet they are allowed to get away with this. (3) MISINFORMATION AND LATE DELIVERY: Earth Relocation (Matt Fitzpatrick) told us that delivery door-to-door would take about EIGHT WEEKS. However, even after we paid the full price of shipping on October 2, we did not receive our goods until December 14, a period of FOURTEEN WEEKS after pick-up. It took Earth Relocation an entire week just to process our final payment. (4) EXCESSIVE CHARGES AND MISINFORMATION: On August 9, we were given an estimate by Earth Relocation for door-to-door delivery of our goods of $3,078 for 300 cubic feet. I initially sent photographs of the items, which included two beds, and was told that they amounted to approximately 300 cubic feet. However, we were charged $3,500. We were also NOT told that we would have to pay almost A THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE in Kuwait. Overall, we paid FOUR AND A HALF THOUSAND DOLLARS for the delivery of just TWO PALLETS of goods, with several items damaged. How can anyone possibly justify charging this inordinate amount of money? (5) LATE NOTIFICATION AND UNCLEAR INSTRUCTIONS FROM ISS: We FIRST received an email from Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) in Kuwait on 11 November 2017 advising us to obtain several documents from my employer in Kuwait. However, this notification came only EIGHT DAYS before the arrival of our shipment on 27 November 2017. This company must know that it takes a lot of time to get these documents and that we would be charged 20 KD ($66) PER DAY BY KUWAIT CUSTOMS WHILE OUR GOODS WERE IN STORAGE. ISS gave us inaccurate instructions: they told us that we would need to bring to them ALL of these documents. But this is NOT correct. In fact, some of the documents were addressed to the Ministry of Trade in Kuwait and the Ministry kept those documents. ISS did not make it clear WHICH documents we needed to bring to them. This resulted in considerable confusion: the Ministry kept the original of a required document, and when I told Fathima Zariya of ISS about this (December 5, 2017), I asked if I should go back to the Ministry immediately to retrieve the original. She told me NOT to return to the Ministry and instead to ask my company for another copy. This delayed the process by more than a week, because my company still did not have the document after a week. I actually returned to the Ministry a week later and retrieved the original myself. Why did ISS not tell me to do this? If ISS had emailed us TWO WEEKS EARLIER to inform us that we needed all these documents, and if they had given us correct advice, we would not have been charged for the storage of our goods. As it was, we paid 112 KD ($369) to Kuwait Customs just for storage - an unnecessary expense, resulting from ISS's incompetence. Even the manager at Kuwait Customs said that ISS should not have allowed this delay. We also had to pay charges of 137 KD ($452) to the "shipping line consolidation agent." ISS told me that certain people "needed to make a profit." Why did Earth Relocation not tell me in advance about these charges? They have been in this business for many years: how could they possibly not know? If I had been correctly informed, I would not have made this shipment at all. Overall, I am simply astonished by the staggering incompetence of both these companies - Earth Relocation and ISS - and their refusal to take responsibility for their actions. read more

I had 24 boxes that needed moving from New York to the UK. I gave Earth relocation the measurements of the boxes for the quote. They came in at a reasonable rate so I chose their service. I had to pay an initial non-refundable $1000 up front when I signed the contract. I was told this would take six weeks to get to my address in the UK. On collection day they arrived with a form for me to sign about how the goods would be moved on pallets and that could cost more money. I was reluctant to sign but they wouldnt take the goods without this being signed. A few days later they charged me another $1400 for palitization. How could they be so wrong with the quote that now the price doubled! I had given them the exact measurements of my 24 square boxes. The shipment finally arrived at my adress thirteen weeks later, seven weeks later than expected. On top of all this the boxes and contents smelt of curry which took forever to go away. Moved from Dubai to Washington State. Earth Rel. was a 2nd party agent and only had to coordinate w/ customs and a third party moving company. Follow-up and communication was horrible. Full of excuses for not returning calls. I waited nearly two weeks for my container to release. Had I not got on them and kept calling them, it would have probably taken longer. My move was handled by Earth Relocation on door to door basis. I waited on putting my feedback online until I received the goods and the transaction has been completed. I can now evaluate the whole process and add my comments . The start was good, crew of 3 came on time, brought all the materials for international packing, did a walk through before and after the packing was completed and also got documents signed. The packers were Spanish and seemed very clean and organized. Then came the invoice which was 6% over my estimate but they had given me a possible variation of 10% due to containerization so I was fine. Their partner here in Chile - Decapack was also a very good company and they contacted me as soon as my stuffs left from US. Overall my moving experience was fine. The only downside was a 10 day delay in receiving the goods then what I had expected but I can live with that. read more

Once we contacted them, our goods were packed and moved within a week's time from our home. All paperwork was done upfront for clearance of goods in Canada and we had to go to customs terminal in Montreal as indicated in advance by our moving consultant. Everything was arranged as planned and our door to door moving was completed in 6 business days. Other companies we were contacted by were giving transit times of 2-3 weeks and one company in New York even mentioned one month in transit time. It was peak moving season and we were not getting clarity on pickup and delivery time frames from other folks and this was very critical for us as the job I started in Canada had a dedicated day and we wanted to setup our new apartment in advance. In any case, all went well and the cost of the move was not exorbitant either. So I am doing my due diligence by sharing my experience and would like to give full marks to ER. I arranged my shipping with Earth Relocation a week ago because I am traveling abroad and needed a reliable, knowledgeable shipping company! In that short time, I had a reasonable quote and a date for pick up. The two young men who arrived at my home to pick up my boxes were excellent and finished up in record time. They were amenable and explained the process that would take place once they got my personal effects back to their warehouse. I realize that it may take some time to receive my possessions because I opted for shipping rather than air and found the cost to be within my budget. However, I feel confident that Earth Relocation will get me my things as quickly as possible and do realize it is contingent upon filling up a container. Earth Relocation helped me move from US to India. I contacted them through their listing on the internet, and they were very informative and cordial. I liked the way I was also informed about some of the Customs and Excise quirks and what to look out for. Since they were informed at short notice, they were very flexible in accommodating any requests to move around some dates. All my goods were collected and moved to their warehouse, and stored and cataloged well. On my request, I was also allowed to visit their warehouse to add a box or two to the LCL shipment. Post completion of the ship onboarding, I was informed of the shipping and the expected date. Samir was very informative, and very comforting with his knowledge and reassuring in the way, he explained the process. I received the goods in 45 days time and was taken through the customs process in India, in Bangalore. All goods reached home safe and sound. Though I was initially worried that some goods might have been missed, Samir explained how they repacked some items and requested me to go through the goods and was patient in hearing to my complaints and waiting until I found all my goods. I recently moved my home goods to Pakistan using earth relocation. They gave me a quote that was lower than the other relocation companies. They came in, packed all the house hold , loaded into a container and shipped out. The shipment was delivered at our residence on time with no hassle at all. They did what they said. DO NOT USE EARTH RELOCATION !!! I moved back from Boston area to my parents home in Belgium to help to take care in their medical situation. Right now I am going through huge problems with Earth Relocation. We started the moving procedure May 17, 2016. I had 45 very stackable boxes, totes and 4 big trunks and 3 not stackable small objects. Everything was correctly measured and by email all dimensions were giving to SAMIR SHAH of EARTH RELOCATION. He gave me a quote that was about 100 dollars more than another shipping company. Samir was very good in making me comfortable with his company so I asked if he could match the price and I would use his company for shipping my goods to Belgium. And he did. On MAY 17,2016 he quoted me 2,750 dollars for 240 cubic feet. In the signing contract it also specify that the quotation could be about 10 percent more when they paletise it. What is fine.... The final invoice came in the email of JUNE 20, 2016......There is a difference of not about 10 percent but 50 percent more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cubic feet is now 346 and final quote 4,148,00 dollars.(without all other expenses). After giving them all exact dimensions by email !!!! It took almost 5 weeks before I even had the final quote, what I thought took very long after talking to him several times by phone during that time. As soon as I had the final invoice I called and emailed Samir. I told him I did not agree with the final invoice. The quotation was way tooooo far off. From that point on he was hard to communicate with, normally he answers very fast to emails, but not anymore after I disagreed. I told him how I felt ripped off. ... because once they picked up my goods and got them to their warehouse, they had all control. He said that it was not a ripp off but they had 3 big palets,... I am sure there are 3 palets, but that is not the point. His estimate is way too far off of the final invoice, after having all dimensions mailed to him. I did NOT send more goods out than what I gave him in the list. I would NOT have done this shipment knowing how much more this would have cost me !! In their final invoice it is also said under "Payment Methods" that the goods will NOT be shipped before final payment has been received.(I thought my goods were still at the warehouse and would not be shipped before we would have come to an agreement) My goods were not supposed to be shipped because I did NOT agree with the final balance. If not coming to an agreement, I would have made arrangements to have them picked up at their warehouse and use another shipping company. During my disagreement,..... he DID ship out my goods without my knowledge and are NOW at this point "IN HOLD" in Rotterdam. The agent in Holland is not permitted to release my goods until the balance is paid in full with Earth Relocation. This was a very slick move to get more money out of the shipment, ..... that is why he was avoiding contact until the goods were already shipped. He contacted me back after I told Courtney Moore from Earth Relocation, that took care off all papers, that Samir needed to contact me. They do not follow their own contract rules.... quotation could be 10 percent more, my went up to 50 percent,.... they write in their final invoice that nothing will be shipped out until final balance is paid.... my goods were shipped without agreement. ALL VERY FALSE !!!! THIS IS A WELL PREPARED RIPP OFF !!! It was interesting reading other reviews,.... because I guess this is not the first time the exact procedure happened ! This is the way they do business to get more money out of the deal. And they trick people by sending their goods out and then have them kept hostage at the destination side untill the much higher quotation, which people DID NOT agree to, is paid. I will keep YELP updated how this situation will be handled and end. I have told Samir to handle according their own contract rules ... I think that would be fair and take some responsibility. I am willing to pay even 20 percent on top of their estimate,.... but NOT 50 !!! If it ends in a possitive result, ..... I will certainly let YELP know this as well. If the situation does not get resolved, I will be contacting Better Business Bureau as well. THE CUSTOMER has the right to know how much the final shipping cost will be BEFORE sending out the goods !!!! THE CUSTOMER makes the decision to ship or not ship after knowing the final cost. WHY did they ship out the goods while their OWN "Payment Terms "specify that nothing is shipped out until final balance is paid ??? There was no agreement made...... FOR THAT AMOUNT !!! read more

Their services were above average as compared to my previous moves. and they seemed to know the international moving process well. Only issue was that they gave us a long window for pickup and showed up really late in the day but the movers were quick and efficient. I had minor scratches on my bedroom dresser and one desk but nothing major went wrong. The insurance company they work with got repairs approved and furniture was finally fixed after 3 months of delivery. That's all I have to say. read more

I booked Earth Relocation to help move almost all our household stuff from LA to Dubai. Our prior international moving experience was far far from anything normal as we had a very bad experience with the move and a bad customer service. Hence we were quite skeptical going into this move but the entire moving experience with Earth Relocation folks (got a reference on them from one of my friend) turned out to be exceptionally smooth affair. The best thing that I liked was the very friendly customer-service, their focus on attention to detail and clear communication on paper-work specially the explanation in a very plain and simple language of the shipping and insurance paper work. The entire crew was very professional in conduct with accommodating nature. I liked the way they planned packaging, with methodical planning they helped accommodate stuff in the container that we did plan to throw away for the lack of space in the container. The most comforting part of the entire move was the communication on a pro-active basis which included the genuine explanation on the delay and the reason of the delay for the delivery of our stuff in Dubai. Instead of me calling and inquiring this kind of pro-active communication was reassuring. Overall it was a great experience and the professionalism along with personal touch to the entire moving transaction is highly appreciative. read more

I actually think one star is being generous. I have moved to 6 countries over the last 15 years and have never experienced anything as bad and upsetting as my last one with Earth Relocation. Using a professional moving company is meant to take away the stress in moving but unfortunately this was not the case. The packers were lazy, didn't bother labeling anything properly so the inventory list was a work of fiction, my bed was vandalized instead of dismantled, and the men were still trying to pack and load the truck an hour after I was due to leave to the airport. Despite telling their supervisor throughout the day, the men were not doing their job properly, nothing was done. Nearly two months after the move, i am still missing some of my furniture. The after service has been even worse - no attempt to apologize or rectify the situation or accept responsibility. Despite the emotional stress caused, the time spent repairing or replacing damaged items and all the problems caused, the company's response has been either silence or to tell me it was my fault. Only after posting a review online did the company contact me to "ask how they could make me happy" - but only if I removed any reviews. read more
