I've ordered take out from East Coast several times now and have been happy with my order. I have both called in an order and have stopped by and ordered from the locale. I highly recommend calling the order in of its take out. That place can get slammed sometimes. I tried to order online also but you can't apply coupons, at least it didn't let me do it online. Also you have to pay before the order is placed, no option to order online and pay in store. Onto the food. This is the closest NY style pizza I've found around here and it's pretty decent. Thin crust, lots of delicious cheese, oil falling into your plate just like at the corner stores in NY. My favorite is their plain cheese. I tried their Philly Cheesesteak and didn't like it. I've also had their wings and fries. Wings are delicious. Great tasting buffalo with a hint of sweetness. As someone that isn't big on spicy food, their buffalo wings weren't too spicy for me. Fries are generic fries from a bag. Last time I ordered take out they were rather cold; however, picking up the food took longer than expected since they were busy and this man was putting on a show at the register. Overpriced, bad service(teenagers who do not care) which is too bad because the pizza is okay. Went on a weekday with my kids waited forever for a couple slices while i watched multiple people after me get there food by the giggly girls at the counter. Too busy amusing themselves to pay attention to the customers and there needs. I am so glad they are covering up this store with a pizza hut right in front of it, makes me laugh everytime i drive by. While we like the food, the seating is very limited. And even though the restaurant was only partially occupied, when our party of 6 sat down at a table large enough for us and our food, we were asked to move to a smaller table. Well we traditionally have done to go pizza pickup or mid week eat in. We had never experienced eating there on a weekend night. Wrong choice!! The place had filthy floors, bathrooms hadn't been up kept and were nasty. After experiencing this I wonder how dirty the kitchen might be. Yes the pizza is good, but the owner needs to make sure that the eating area is cleaned including floors,and that they clean the bathrooms during the shift. The back room where we ate filet like eating in a closet and had no atmosphere. Not a good experience and I certainly will not go here during the weekend. Either hire more staff to clean or get those who are working ther be responsible .lastly since the owner works in the kitchen he needs to get out behind the counter and check on his restaurant. read more

Wow- i have enjoyed East Coast Pizza for the past year, but it seems each we go it gets a little worse. Tonight was my birthday, and all I wanted was a nice northeast style pizza and cheese steak. The pizza was ok, the cheese steak so horrible neither my husband or I could eat it. I would have told our server, bit whoever it was is no where to be found. When it was time to leave I had to stand at the counter trying to get someone to give me a box. The manager finally came to the table and explained there were 4 new servers and a new cook. Thats great, but why should I have to pay the price of s totally crappy meal because they cant manage their restaurant. .By the time they offered my 10.00 back for the disgusting cheesesteak, I told them keep it. Worst takeout I ever had. I Ordered Buffalo chicken and a Greek salad with blue Cheese. The salad was soggy and mostly left over lettuce. The food was good and service was good. My wife ordered the eggplant parmigiana and it was delicious. I ordered the calzone and the crust was crunchy and tasty. The surprise was that it had too much ricotta that was watery, which impacted the lower part of the calzone. Next time I will order pizza to taste the flavors. read more

I'm originally from the NY/NJ area, so I know from good pizza. And this is good pizza! The owners are originally from the New York area, so they know what they're doing. We travel 25 minutes just to get our pizzas from this place, but the gas and mileage is worth it. The pizzas are great, definitely made with fresh ingredients (I particularly recommend the eggplant pizza, which is liberally topped with lightly fried pieces of eggplant), and best of all, there are several different sizes to choose from. In my family, not everyone can always decide on a topping, so we each get a mini (10 inch) pizza of our own. The calzones are also quality. Try the pepperoni rolls! And for lunch, you can get, as we used to say up North, "a coke and a slice." read more

East Coast Pizza is my favorite pizza place in Riverview. Even thought they do not deliver, I usually go out of my way to order pizza from East Coast rather than any other pizza joint in RIverview. I hardly ever dine in, usually I get my pizza to go, I believe they use great fresh ingredients and it definitely comes across with a great tasting pizza. They offer a wide, eclectic array of choices of pizza, my favorite is the white pizzas and the standard margarita. I recommend this place over any other pizza place in Riverview. read more

Great little pizza joint if you are in search of some great NY style pizza which i always am. The price for a pizza was extremely resonable compared to other places I've been in my time. The sauce, cheese, smell was all on point with everything it's supposed to be! The mozzarella sticks were nothing fancy or special but had a great tasting batter. The staff was friendly. This place has a good pizza, but my favorite items are the antipasta salad and the PINWHEELS! I've never really ordered antipasta salad anywhere, but one day I tried it and I was won over. The only suggestion I would make is to have it made with romaine (I like the healther options). Now, the pepperoni pinwheels are really great. We sometimes pick up 12 and take them home for our 18 year old son. They ususally only last two days. read more

Their tomato sauce is good but it is the same for every plate, there's no distinction between the flavor of a lasagna or a spaghetti dish. Eggplant parmigiana, one of my favorite dishes, is swimming in the sauce, the flavor of the eggplant is lost in that red pool :/ read more

East Coast pizza is more than pizza. I've had their pizzas which are great. But it's the pastas, chicken parmesan, and other Italian dishes that make me a regular. The restaurant caters to families and groups with casual dining area. I have all ways done call - ahead take out. There is a bit of a wait whenever I arrive to pick up my order...not exactly sure why. The food is good and the young staff is friendly. They are a great neighbor to the community. Went in to get pizza and a large salad on a Friday at 4:30 not very busy yet. My husband ordered our food and I sat at a four top table because in the past trying to put four plates and a large salad bowl and the pizza will not fit comfortably on a two table top. The four plates were two for our salad and two for our pizza.I was told by one of the unfriendly staff members that I had to move to the smaller table. We like to eat our salad with our pizza. Then you add two large cups of soda and a glass of water and no room to put anything else on the table with out it falling. Then of course you can't eat the pizza in front of you because of the table being very uncomfortable and very crowded. I had my salad plate in the middle and the pizza plate to side hoping it would not fall off to the floor. I have never been in a pizza place that tells you where you have to sit. It was an all around bad experience and we won't be back. Not long after we sat at our tiny table full of dishes another couple sat at the table we originally were at and nothing was said to them. This is poor management on someone's part. Maybe find out if a couple is just getting pizza and nothing else the small table would be fine, but when you have four plates on a two table top it just doesn't work out to an enjoyable time. There are so many other pizza places in the area. We have been coming to this one since they opened, but they must have different management or something.
