Returned here for the Tahitian sandwich. I must say that I was slightly disappointed. The pork and assembling of sandwich wasn't the same as the first time. I fell in love with it the first time I ordered it - perfect slow cooked pork and sauce. This one feels...flat and dry pork. Please please, whoever made my first Tahitian sandwich, makes it a recipe. Great service and amazing food. The menu is well thought out and the atmosphere is clean and modern. We were tourist passing through and the very small gift shop portion of the cafe was better than most large souvenir shops. Definitely worth the stop. read more

I stopped here on a cross country drive and the food was very fresh and delicious! I got the Mediterranean wrap and my mom got the build your own. I didn't realize the kale salad came without dressing (and was almost too healthy for my taste) and I almost forgot to grab the chips that came with my order. But overall, very good and easy to order over the phone for pickup. I was excited that they sold dog treats for my pup in the car. We were in Flagstaff for the week and stopped in for lunch on our way to do some more sightseeing. When we walked in the staff seemed like they did not want to be there. As you walk in there is a narrow access between the wall and the counter, a couple of feet, the menu goes all the way to the ceiling, I was trying to read it, but your in every ones way as they enter or exit the door. I went to see if they had a printed menu and asked the girl at the register and she was like no we don't have that, use the board, not very pleasantly. So we stood there in the way trying to figure out what we would have. There was a section with slip of paper in a box with a pencil. This was called build your own. My wife and daughter decided to build there own. So my daughter went to the girl and asked if they had any more slips of paper. Again the girl at the counter, who obviously did not want to be there said no we don't have anymore rather sharp. By this time we were rather disgusted and instead of walking out I ordered the special, a turkey club or something like that, my daughter and wife built some kind of sandwiching a hoagie roll. Another girl dropped off the sandwiches to our table, also I'm guessing not wanting to be there also, and left. Not asking if we need anything, or even a pleasantry. Our sandwiches were very dry. I had to go and ask for mayonnaise. The girl dropped three packs into my hand. Again now I felt like I was bothering them. I used two for half of my sandwich which I tried to eat. It tased good but it had to be the driest club sandwich I had ever had. My daughter took one of the packs of mayonnaise and tried to eat hers. She had to go and get five more Oakes of mayonnaise so we could try to eat our sandwiches. My wife who does not like mayonnaise much could not eat the dense hoagie roll, she just ate the inside. My daughter gave up on the hoagie roll and ate the inside also. We paid over $30 for three sandwiches one orange juice, one tea and a bottle of water. I was so disappointed. We got sandwiches twice at Fry's during the week for 1/3 of the price and the quality was four times as good. I called the manager and explained what had happened, she was apologetic and offered to refund my money, I refused because lunch had passed. , won't ever go back even if we are in flagstaff again. SAVE YOUR MONEY go and get sandwiches at Fry's or subway. You'll have a better experience. The reply by the staff is ordinary at best, I'm not a fit for your overpriced mediocre food, who is. I have eaten all over the world and this is one that I would rate as a three out of ten. Apologizing after the fact does not fix the problem. I guess future customers will have to see. I don't usually write many reviews that are negative and try to at least post the positives, it is a shame that you will only get little from my constructive feedback, your cafe' could be epic if you only were vested in it. I will be surprised if you manage to stay open for any length of time in the future! read more

Stopped in by accident...we were looking for the bike shop next door! We liked it so much we came back 2 days in a row :) Loaded waffle, breakfast burrito, Keto smoothie and the Makala latte were delicious. The service was great- kind and quick. When I first started going here it was amazing. The gluten free baked goods we're the best that I ever had. Pretty soon it seemed like they started having employee problems. Less and less baked goods, not as many selections on gluten free. But I could say one thing they're Popeye smoothie by far the best. Customer service is kind of standoffish, bathrooms are always clean, and the front sitting area is always clean. the service is friendly, the decor is nice, and it has a good central location. the service was however slow, and we came here because with a name like "eat n run" we assumed it would be a good quick choice for a lunch break. i got the greek salad (because it was one of only two vegetarian options on the menu) and it was average. it was a good size and filling but the dressing was not the dressing i would associate with a greek salad and the bread that came on the side was not good. my partner got the tuscan sandwich and said it was excellent, with great pesto and was very filling even though it looked small. pretty good experience but i probably wouldn't come back on my lunch read more

That sandwich was good! I also got the Smokey Chicken Salad sandwich for dinner and that was good. If they put microbrews in the cooler this place will be off the chain! First time I was here I had the Reuben, it was pretty decent, not the best I've had (Lodge at North Rim of Grand Canyon takes that spot) couldve used more cheese and less sauerkraut. Second time I had a cold, so I ordered the twice baked potato soup. Which was not good at all. Ive attempted to make potato soup once in my life, and it was lightyears ahead of this. It tasted like bland mashed potatoes with a rough texture. I have a feeling it might have been a day or two old, it definitely could have been thinned out with some chicken or veggie stock. Or better yet, a new batch couldve been made. All in all, this place is okay so far. I will come back to try other items. read more

I wasn't too hungry and only ordered the Boatman's Breakfast - a smoothie consisting of chocolate, peanut butter, a double espresso, oats, a banana, hazelnut syrup, and milk of your choice.
