The food is great,fresh, and tasty. I had the arrabiatta pasta. Nice and spicy. My husband had the pizza, one friend had gnocchi. We couldn't get enough. Portions are decent. I haven't been here in a LONGTIME... So, here are some of the things you should know before you go. Parking is very limited. You can park in the lot directly east of the restaurant and also southeast of the restaurant (they own both). Next, look at the menu so when you arrive, you can order at the register (This was new to me). We ordered a lot of food. The standouts were: Fritto Misto (light and crunchy), Linguine Frutti Di Mare (very tasty seafood), Rock Pizza (order it every time, gorgonzola cheese was nice), house cake (IYKYK), gelato = vanilla and passion fruit (!!). Everything else was good: lasagna, carbonara, roasted vegetables (heavy on the cheese), house wine, One thing that bothered me was table #5. There were fruit flies or gnats from beginning to end. I'll be honest, I used to love this place! It has gone downhill! I'm unsure if there is new ownership or what is going on, but the experience as a whole is just sub par. The food is okay, it used to taste a lot better. The service is not necessarily service, I like the experience of being able to be seated and have a server order. But maybe they are cutting costs. It's an awkward experience, it's always a long line at the front area to order on these poster board style menus that you look at standing at a distance. If you want to add on you have to leave your seat and walk back to the front area, get in line and order again. Like when you order from a fast food restaurant. The bread is never fresh lately, it's always extremely hard- almost tooth shattering and I'm just disappointed. On the recommendation of a colleague we came here for lunch today. This restaurant is a true hidden gem. I am very happy we came early! When we left at 12:30pm there were cars lined up in the street waiting for a parking space. I ordered a pizza and it was amazing! One of the best pizzas I can remember eating. We went at night and was shocked to drive through what looks like a complete dead warehouse area into this restaurant. Inside is almost green tint bright white light, a happening restaurant with full tables, open kitchen, pizza stone oven full blaze, ice cream bar, bustling with life, nothing like what it looked like on the outside. Our group ordered probably something from every section of the menu and pizza was hands down everyone's favorite, but nothing was less than superb, including the wine and ice cream. We devoured everything too fast for photos, unfortunately , but looks like there's plenty posted already. The service was flawless and efficient, and we had a good experience. I really enjoy the pizzas here. They have fun options and fresh dough, ingredients and sauce. I'd give it five stars but sometimes the dough isn't quite done. It's really a 4.4 stars overall. Food: The food was amazing. I loved the menu and there are so many options to choose from. The desserts are off to the side/back and you can order them as you wait for your food. Atmosphere: You wait in line prior to being seated, order w/ the cashier before you were seated. I like this process it means that you don't have to flag anyone down to order your food. Gardena's Eataly! This understated restaurant is located in an unassuming wear house but what isn't understated or unassuming is the delicious food. I had one of the best salads ever - the Spinach salad with pesto was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a couple of pizzas - the margherita and the pepperoni pizza. At the end of the meal, we enjoyed some delicious gelato from their gelato bar. The way this place works is you order at the front, leave your tab open, and take your number to a table. They drop off the food on a little push cart which is a fun way to be served. You're welcome to pick up a dessert or other goodies and add it to your tab. The servers are very attentive so don't forget to tip them! We'll definitely be back for a casual dinner soon. read more

This is hands down the best authentic Italian cuisine in LA!!! This located near an industrial town. You can park on the street but I believe I saw parking right next to the eatery. I prefer what is known as chicken Parmesan and it did not disappoint! The chicken was so flavorful along with the potatoes and vegetables that came with it. The restaurant was really nice it wasn't fancy or what I considered romantic it was very spacious. I went shooting the day so maybe that's why it wasn't giving me romance vibes. I could tell this place gets crowded and there's really not a lot of sitting which is good in my opinion because there's not a lot of noise. Our waiter was sincere and even explained the things on the menu. The feint staff that seats were also nice. I came back twice and will continue because the food and service is great! read more

I decided to treat myself to a nice dinner. Placing my order online was effortless. I specified I wanted a 6 pm pick up of my order. Upon arrival and checking in at 5:52 pm, I was given my Tiramisu. I came here on a late Monday for lunch on a coworker lunch recommendation. This spot is definitely odd next to the industrial buildings in the vicinity. There is paid valet parking and limited free street parking. If it was busier, I don't think I would have found parking and I also wouldn't feel safe street parking at night. The inside of the restaurant has an interesting industrial feel with lots of seating. Ok so the food, I ordered the squash ravioli with the pancetta (pork) red sauce and a glass of house rose because I heard that the house wine is on tap. The wine was pretty awful and the pasta while good, the sauce left much to be desired. It was also pretty expensive considering the lower quality of food. I also ordered a mint ice cream which was yummy and the highlight of the visit. I ordered a tiramisu and a custard to go and both were disappointments. I would not recommend this place. read more

After a long day my wife and I decided to grab some delicious Italian food that was recommended to me a while back. We happened to be in the area and I'm so glad we stopped in. It's an upscale yet casual restaurant. I loved the chefs table vibe going on and that has me hooked. The carbonara we had was so flavorful and creamy. Definitely one of the best I've ever had. Portion wasn't exactly par for the course in my opinion but it was still amazing. The Scagliarini was also very delicious with prosciutto and parm as the toppings. Enjoyed a glass of the house red and finished off with some Cannoli's to go. We got home and had the hazelnut cannoli and I must say I was very impressed even though I really am not one for sweets. Eatalian is in the middle of a very industrial area occupied mostly by warehouses. The interior is rather interesting, they have created a wall made from pasta sauce cans, and have converted their warehouse space into not only a bar, but also a sizable restaurant full of tables. Perhaps I've been watching too much breaking bad, but it looks like the ideal place to launder narcotics. The pasta sauce cans look like the perfect cover to hide drugs, and the use of a restaurant allows for a front for the laundering of money....not that I would know how any of that works..... Self-incrimination aside, the food at Eatalian is quite solid. The bacon carbonara left much to be desired. It was not seasoned well enough, and it was not salty enough even after I added gratuitous amounts of salt. However, the lasagna was quite flavorful, and had a good balance between cheesiness and tomato based sauce. Eatalian would be a good option if you are in this area dropping off a relative at LAX, and are not sure what to do afterwards to beat the traffic. read more
