There is a reason this place has a wait list that shuts down because it's filled up so early. You have extremely reasonable prices for fresh fish that is incredibly high quality and carefully plated. It's also not a very large space for how popular it is. Located in an unassuming area, I almost thought I got the directions wrong. We went fairly early so could avoid the long wait even though the wait list was closed. Every single thing I had was amazing from the uni, to the fatty tuna, sashimi, nigiri etc it all just melted in my mouth. They even had things like monk fish liver which you don't see as often. The baked green muscles were unlike any I have had at other spot, they also had other seafood in the sauce they topped it with and they were cut in half so it was easy to eat them. Perfectly cooked too. Shoshito peppers were even done in way that was addictive. If I'm ever back in town this place is a must to visit again. The service was fast and attentive, great options on the menu, and amazing quality with prices you don't see these days with how bad inflation has gotten. We were in the area craving sushi and if you search sushi on Yelp this place is usually one of the top results. Came in around 8:30pm on a Tuesday and there was no wait. The menu is huge so we ordered a mix of nigiri and rolls. Some of the items we liked were the toro, jumbo scallop, sweet shrimp, and the pepper salmon. For rolls we tried the dragon, caliente, and fire island which tasted pretty much how you'd expect. I'll be honest, the meal reminded me a lot of an all you can eat sushi spot. For the price the quality is decent, nothing particularly special, but good enough to satisfy the craving. Came to Eat Sushi on a Saturday and there was about a 20-minute wait, which honestly wasn't bad at all. I love that you can join the waitlist from your car as long as you're within a 5-mile radius. I love that the rolls are half sized so you can order multiple different rolls to try a variety, even in a small group because then you don't have to finish so many pieces in one roll and get full to try others. Since the rolls come in smaller plates of four pieces, it's nice being able to try multiple rolls instead of committing to a standard eight-piece roll like most sushi spots. I usually prefer fresher rolls, and the fish here was fresh enough without being drenched in sauce. Everything was simple with just the right amount of toppings. I did notice that a lot of the rolls include tempura. While I usually prefer fresh fish on the inside and outside, the ones with tempura were still done well. I'd still like to see more fresh roll options, but overall the sushi is solid. I also like that there's a dedicated no rice roll section. Caliente was my favorite from that category with a nice, slight spicy kick. My favorite roll overall was the Fire Island. I love red onion, and the peppery flavor combined with the seared fish was a great combo. Service: Very straightforward and efficient. The staff helped us whenever we flagged them down. It's been a while since I had such good sushi for a good price. Depending on how much you eat I'd say you'd spend $30-40 for a full stomach here. I'm a bit of a hefty eater for a girl but was decently stuffed leaving the restaurant. Ambience and service is spot on with very kind a prompt service from the staff! Perfect spot for a date night with dim lights and food sushi. Only con would be is that it is a fairly small place so coming with a big group of friends of more than 5 people would definitely be a longer wait. Waitlist on yelp close early due to demand and manually entering at the restaurant would give you a long wait time regardless. I was a group of 3 girls and the wait was surprisingly 2 hrs. Came at 5:50pm to put our names down and didn't get called till 7:30pm to be seated on a Saturday. Luckily we ran errands around the area so time flew by easier. Biggest table they had was like 4 -5 booth that ideally fit a group of 4 comfortably fyi Sushi quality was top notch and if you're a salmon lover or tuna lover, we definitely had some favorite favorites here! We have been coming to Eat's Sushi since 2022 merely because of their high Yelp and Google ratings and haven't sought out any other place since discovering them. IYKYK! Have we tried other places? Of course - and always regretted doing so lol - now it's just Eat's Sushi every time! I attached 3 photos from this particular visit on Friday night, 5.22.26, and wrote a short blurb for each photo to explain why Eat's is hands down, the best place and usually the place of choice we go to at least 3x a month! They are always busy and that never bothers us because everyone else knows this is the place to go for fresh fish, amazing service, and friendly staff! We have figured out how to join their wait list without waiting their usual 30-60+ min wait. Even if we have to wait, we will. It's worth it every time! On this particular visit, Leo sat us down and Evelyn was our server. All of them are wonderful and these two elevated our visit yet once again! It is the main reason I wanted to post this because they deserve accolades. Leo already had our usual "hot water" order waiting for us at the table and Evelyn is always patient with us when we place several small orders because we like to keep the fish fresh. It's called "tsuika de onegaishimasu" if you care to know haha . The owner was also there that evening, and we witnessed him supporting his team quietly and gratefully by helping collect empty dishes off occupied tables to take them to the kitchen himself. Came in based off a social media post find stating sushi rolls were only $7.50. Upon entering the place seemed nicer and more of a sit down restaurant than I thought. We had to wait a few minutes to be seated and it looked like it can get crowded since I saw a Yelp waitlist. The hostess and waitresses were all nice and attentive. Service and food were quick. They have an extensive menu with lots of items. We were looking for the $7.50 rolls without having to ask and it took us awhile but it's some of their specialty rolls and the catch was that it was only a half roll that came in 4 so technically it's the same price if you were to get a whole roll which does usually cost between $15-17 lol good baiting but it was also kind of nice to get half a roll and pay half the price because you can order more/different rolls to try out. The items itself were all pretty good. I enjoyed all sauces that came on top of the rolls. I do want to point out that a lot of their rolls the rice wasn't sticking and kept breaking apart on almost all of the rolls even the California rolls which had no sauce. The fish tasted fresh and I loved their toppings with raw red onions and Serrano peppers. I noticed their wasabi wasn't pasty so I wonder if it was real wasabi and their ginger I loved how they cut it up in small pieces instead of those big long chunks. We first tried this place for dinner and left with a very good impression, so we came back on the weekend to try their lunch. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, we were seated right away. The food was excellent--exactly what I was hoping for. The sashimi was fresh and flavorful, and the sushi had a perfect balance of rice and fish. The highlight for me was the Seared Jumbo Scallop Sushi, which stood out with its rich, smoky flavor. The only downside was the edamame. We didn't get it until we were nearly done with our meal, and only after asking the waiter--who said they were still making it. It's a bit puzzling why something so simple took so long.
