Kind of surprising. We love Echo & Rig in Summerlin. But this one was shockingly different. The ambience has quite a lot to be desired, but that's similar to the previous location. But they didn't have a wine list. They were out of many of their cocktails. Several cocktails on the list were just not available (they stopped making them and never updated the menu). The general manager didn't know how to describe their different martinis on the menu and had to go check. The other service was pretty solid, and the food was good as usual. But the ambience is very stark, and given the mishaps on the cocktail menu it's hard to give this more than three stars. read more

I really enjoy going to The District. Eating at a nice restaurant is a bonus! Walking into Echo & Rig was not exactly what I had expected. I thought it would be a typical steakhouse...dark and "manly". It had a nice vibe. The menu was not a typical one. It's actually a chart for the steak selection. Our server, Juan had to explain it By the way, he and Johnny were excellent! Very attentive and friendly. Our food was delicious and the desserts were good too. I was slightly disappointed that the hot coffee cake wasn't hot but it tasted good enough that I forgot about the hotness. The appetizers were outstanding. I'll definitely be returning to this location. I'm sure it'll be a great place to go to when it's warm out and you can sit in the patio by the bar, have some drinks and appetizers and just enjoy the atmosphere. First I will say the service isn't as good here at the new location as the others but it's still pretty solid. The pricing is better than most other Steakhouses in the area, Hanks, Fleming's, Ruth's, Vic & Anthony's, Echo & Rig.. etc. I will say that's the only thing better than the other Steakhouses I listed. (Just pulled up Clark County lien records and E&R GVR has an amended lien Nov 25, 2025. IRS for parent company Oct 1, 2025, so looks to be having troubles) Out of something: "we're changing things up". "Kitchen is backed up with that, how about something else?". "Wine list? Sorry, we don't have one, we're changing things up, and I'm not sure what we have". Rack where premium/special bottles were kept over bar that was once full, practically empty now. No table cloths, not even butcher paper on the tables. Seems like they've stopped ordering things and or are getting cut off. Pretty much everyone's proteins were not cooked properly. Everything took forever to come out (close to an hour to get entrees). It's like they've staffed the kitchen with anyone off the street. Server going through the motions. Showed up to take orders and last we saw of them until we wanted our check. Never checked in, never got anything close to an "apologies for the delay". So we have been here several times and well it has been better. I feel like they are missing something. We came in for a couple drinks and sat at the bar. Okay it was Happy Hour and yes they were somewhat busy. It took what seemed like a long while to be greeted and then also a while before the gal came back to get our order. There were at least three others working the bar. Maybe we were invisible Once we ordered, the drinks were timely and our server kept up with us. I found it odd that there was a bartender boasting about his mixology bravado and yet I ordered a Manhattan-classic cocktail, and it came from a tap. The steaks were cooked perfectly and absolutely melted in our mouths. We started our meal with a salad consisting of tomatoes, watermelon, cucumbers and red onion. The small things made this salad shine. As an example the tomatoes were heirloom and super sweet, the cucumbers and watermelon sliced in perfect equal size and were perfectly balanced with vinaigrette. Our sides consisted of roasted broccolini and roasted garlic mash potatoes. These were also very good. The service is exceptional, we never asked for anything as the experienced wait staff took care of every need before being asked. Echo & Rigg, go out of their way to make each guest feel valued for their business. Having dined quite a bit on the Las Vegas strip, the hospitality experienced here really stood out. Let me begin with a confession: I want to love Echo & Rig's Green Valley location. I live just down the road. I've dined here more times than I can justify, hoping each visit might finally rise to meet the very high bar set by their stellar Summerlin outpost. But after several attempts.....at the bar, in the dining room, solo and with family in tow--it's time to face the music: the Green Valley location is a frustrating study in contrasts. Let's start with the unforgivable: the service is inexcusably poor. At the bar, the bartenders are more interested in chatting with regulars and gazing at whatever happens to be on the overhead TVs than in acknowledging new guests (and I'm far from new at this juncture) I've waited--timed it--for 15 full minutes without so much as eye contact. No greeting, no menu, no water. In the dining room, service is glacial, detached, and clearly lacking leadership. I have yet to be visited by a manager, despite numerous meals over many months..... years I think now. The vibe is less "modern steakhouse" and more "we're doing you a favor by being here." Now let's talk about wine.......or, rather, the failure to serve it properly. Red wine by the glass comes out just above freezing, stripping the soul from every pour. Order a bottle, and the pendulum swings too far the other way: lukewarm, oxidized, and clearly shelved rather than cellared. Echo & Rig, if you can't manage red wine service in the narrow band of 55°F to 65°F, it's time to recalibrate. Pro tip: bring your own bottle. Thankfully, they allow one bottle per party with no corkage fee--a policy that is very generous. And yet... I keep coming back. Why? One reason: the kitchen is on point. Painfully, consistently, brilliantly on point. The Creekstone Ribeye Cap is a revelation......tender to the point of disbelief, marbled like a painter's dream, and charred with just the right kiss of flame. It's the kind of cut that makes you sit up straighter with the first bite, like your palate suddenly remembered what it was made for. And then there's the Wagyu Outside Skirt! earthy, succulent, unapologetically beefy. It sings with deep, umami-rich flavor, seared to the brink of perfection and sliced like silk. This isn't just steak........it's an act of devotion to meat itself. The sides are no afterthought, either. The cucumber and watermelon salad is a whisper of summer on the plate: cooling, crisp, and quietly elegant....appreciated in the desert. Roasted garlic mashed potatoes with cheese are decadent in the best way....golden, gooey, and unapologetically indulgent. The asparagus with poached egg is a standout: a perfectly timed egg cascading over verdant stalks like hollandaise from the heavens. And the pork belly burnt ends? Smoldering little bombs of fat and flavor that could redeem any meal........if only they didn't come with a side of eye-rollingly bad service :( In conclusion: if you can steel yourself against inattentive staff, ambient indifference, and a total lack of managerial oversight, you'll be rewarded with some of the finest steak and sides in Southern Nevada. So my first visit to this location was when a car accident took out the electricity here and in the area. I had booked a reservation then online and also for this visit. The hostess actually knew that and thanked me for returning. I have been to the other Las Vegas location a few times and had some delicious meals. Today was for lunch. My friend and I decided on the brussels sprouts small plate and splitting the steak salad. Went light since Thanksgiving is coming up. Service was amazing, food delicious, and great atmosphere. Definitely will be back to try more options. It's more 4.5 stars. Slightly pricey but everything is up now. Last visit enjoyed the Negroni cocktail which I recommend as a starter. Tried this place on a recommendation of a local and it was a good choice and good recommendation if you are looking for some good tasting steaks on a budget. The steak while on the smaller side had really good flavor because it's cooked with white oak which gives it that fire cooked taste. It was well seasoned and surprised on how well it tasted for $43.00. Most steaks in Vegas are over $80 so this was a good deal. The sides were just average and nothing to write home about. The ambiance of mid-classy and nice and newer establishment with nice decor. Not really fancy but really nice and not so casual. The service was good and just a bit slow. The young man with the water was on it but the head waiter was a bit slow. He didn't give us knives for our steak, didn't take the wine glasses off the table until the food was out and just a bit slower for a slow Thursday night. I booked for my closest location, then changed my reservation and accidentally reserved in the other location. When arrived on time, I realized I made a mistake. This felt like such a bait and switch of a restaurant. I have worked in high end restaurants my whole career and have heard good things. We walked in and it was incredible load. Like sports bar loud. The hosts were nice but our server was very condescending. She seemed annoyed when we had questions about the menu and when we asked for more time with the menu. I had an allergy and just asked for something to be removed. Not replaced, just removed, and she went on to explain how cross contamination works. I explained it was fine, just removed the item. She sighed and walked off. We asked for 2 sides of mashed potatoes and only received one, which now was file as it was not properly mixed and we had giant lumps of skin and cheese. When I asked for A1 steak sauce and said I could select from their "house made sauces" which I did see but did not catch my interest. She had attitude about getting the A1 so I said just don't bring it. Our steak knives smelt straight out of the public pool, with the amount of cleanser they used on it, my hand after stunk like cleanser. The steak was cooked well, but the seasoning was lack lustrous. They need to do a scrap down of the grill top for how much caked on salt crust was on the cross hatch. It was a medium well streak you couldn't enjoy with the amount of salt. Overall for a meal of over $100 for 2 people, the food was only Texas Roadhouse level, with terrible service. Side note their cocktails are just standard bar cocktails with different names. We were told it'll be a 10 minute wait so no problem. We waited outside since the restaurant was cold. We even heard patrons walking out saying the same. We were sat and the manager came by to greet us. You have the option for sparkling or flat water. Food: Portobello Mushroom Rib Cap Garlic Mash Spinach Salad After the manager stop by that's when everything went downhill. Our server took a while to even stop by to greet us. She actually went to another table, which they ordered before us but sat down after us. I was already upset. She finally took our order. Another reason I got upset was not having bread service. When I asked the bus boy /server he said, "You didn't get any?" I said no but it's no longer necessary since I already had my appetizers. I wanted to bring it to his attention. I'd still return but I will no longer choose to sit on the patio if service sucks. ----------- We arrived a few minutes before our reservation but waited for about 15 minutes before we were sat. I can't remember our servers name, but he was awesome. I believe he is Mexican and very knowledgeable about the menu and excellent service. 5 stars for him!!! What was unfortunate was we wanted Rib Cap Steak but was informed that they didn't have any and sold out. Booo!!! Also, we ordered roasted garlic mash, and our server informed us that the mash was at the bottom of the pot, and he wouldn't want us to have a negative experience. So we choose another dish. Echo & Rig is one of my favorite restaurants in town so I was really excited that they were opening a location close to my house. I've been to the Tivoli Village location numerous times. This location is at The District right across from Green Valley Ranch. There is plenty of free parking nearby. The hostesses and servers are very friendly and the managers make their way around the restaurant to make sure everyone is having a nice meal and experience. I've been for both dinner and brunch at this location. You absolutely have to order the portobello fries to start. They are the tastiest appetizer and are such a unique dish. I also tried the cauliflower which was so good. It was spicy and sweet and an incredibly memorable dish. My favorite steak to order is the rib cap but they were sold out on the night I went. I had the ribeye steak which was just as good. The shrimp entree is good, but it's only 3 halves so it's not very filling. The mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts are my favorite side dishes to order to accompany my entree. For brunch, my go to dish is the short rib hash. It has chunks of tender short rib on top of diced potatoes and peppers with eggs and a nice spicy hollandaise sauce. Echo & Rig will always be one of my favorite restaurants in town. It's great for a celebration dinner, casual brunch, girls night out, or a date night. So happy that they have two locations in town. read more

My parents and I came here for dessert, and we were seated in the bar area. The ambience is nice on the inside, and the atmosphere invites a certain type of sophistication. I saw a lot of people dressed up instead of just being casual. I ordered the apple pithivier, and it was delicious! It was crispy and sweet, and the bourbon caramel and creme anglaise sauces on the side really added to the flavors. Popped in here for some lunch with my mom on a casual day of shopping. I had heard about this place from a coworker and was very interested in trying it! We were the first people in for the day so we were seated promptly and was given and very thorough overview of the menu. If there is absolutely anything that you MUST try it is the Portobello Mushroom Rib appetizer. The taste and texture was amazing and completely indescribable. We snacked on some pork belly burnt ends and mac and cheese. The burnt ends were spectacular, and the macaroni was just average. My mom had a burger which she said was good as well. This was our first time since they replaced Elephant Bar. You're greeted by friendly hostess' and the smell of grilled, yummy deliciousness. Our server Alex and one of managers also named Alex were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Creekstone ribeye to share and the Ahi Tuna Frites. For us, we enjoyed the ahi more than the steak. The bone marrow carne asada was a great starter and the garlic mash potatoes rounded our meal. The food was just ok... nothing special and nothing worth coming back to, especially for the price. They were even out of mac n cheese as a side, so we had to substitute it for something else. The fish we ordered came out at room temperature and it had to be sent back. The cocktails tasted like they were pre-made, not made fresh at the bar. We were so excited to have Echo & Rig come to The District, we took our friends, family and business associates there. The food great! The service amazing! Love the location so close to our home! And then this.... We received this letter stating Echo & Rig are DOUBLE charging our credit card for dinners who are there between these dates. We dined with Echo & Rig 3 TIMES that week!! We were OVER CHARGED over $500 and when we called the manager he told us to contact their payment processor Superior Financial ourselves and that it wasn't his problem. So disappointed that no one has reversed these charges (as of today it is Aug 30, 2023), no one has offered an apology or offered to give us the over charged amount in a credit/ gift card to use at a future date and time. If this has happened to you and you were able to correct it please DM my Yelp and let me know how. I would like to be refunded for the amount I was overcharged. BTW Manson Mansou is a restaurant in Canada which is why the charge amounts are different if you see it on your cc statement, it's in Canadian dollars. Nice open restaurant and the entire staff was great. Music in the background but not crazy loud. One of the managers (Harry) stopped by to say hello and welcomed us to the restaurant. JC (Juan Carlos) was our server and he was on point. My husband drinks a lot of water and his glass was never empty. The bread was warm. The crab cake had a great amount of crab. We had the dry aged t-bone which was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. It came with all the sauces so we got to try them all. Went on Valentines day and every table had rose petals besides ours. Took longer than an hour to get our food. Looks like a cheap place trying to be fancy. All the looks are in the bar, yet nobody was seated there. $50 for a steak, chips and crumby mushroom. Honestly I could've made it myself and had it turn out better. Do not recommend. read more

My husband and I enjoyed a phenomenal meal at Echo & Rig's new location for a celebratory dinner a few nights ago and we are excited for future meals here. The manager on duty as well as our waiter were both friendly and attentive. We also appreciated the complimentary items we received due to our celebration; it was very much a pleasant surprise that enhanced our dinner. Everything we had was delicious. We started with the burrata & thick cut bacon. The jam that comes with the burrata was exceptional. We then had filet mignon, NY strip steak, whipped potatoes, and pistachio brussel sprouts for our entrees. Although my husband enjoyed his strip steak, we both agreed my filet mignon had a better flavor overall. For dessert, we were brought a complimentary dish with chocolate ice cream, nuts, fudge, marshmallow fluff & 2 shortbread cookies. We were so full, but found room as we didn't want to waste such a scrumptious dessert. Champagne and a couple cocktails complimented our dishes quite nicely. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars at this time was the lack of water service. We went with empty water most of the evening and couldn't seem to find anyone to fill our glasses. We also waited 20 minutes for our table despite having reservations. But, this location is brand new so I'm sure these are things that will improve to match the quality of service in their Tivoli Village location. read more

Excellent everything except for the steak. My mother-in-law made a reservation on OpenTable for 4:30pm for 7 people. We were greeted and seated promptly. Drinks were heady and delicious. Though they had nothing spicy on their cocktail menu, their citrus "Hoop La" with Courvoisier VS cognac, cointreau, Lillet blanc, and lemon juice was perfect for the hot weather. They also offer gin or vodka martinis with your choices of base, style, and garnish. APPS: Fried Calamari: Standard, with tentacles- YAY! Crispy Pig's Head Terrine with a tart cherry sauce: Porkalicious! I highly recommend this. Mac & Cheese: like drugs. A must. Do it. Also a great meal for a child. Tomato, Cucumber, Watermelon, & Red Onion: A refreshing family favorite for any age. STEAK: Filet Mignon: Pretty but too chewy, tough parts, and NOT buttery in texture, though I ordered it medium rare. My choice of bleu cheese sauce satisfied. Zabuton (Wagyu option) - Same deal- too chewy, tough, and disappointing. DESSERT: Lemon sorbet. Raspberry. Tasty and just right. Unless they improve their steak, I would only come here for drinks and apps. It's okay. No worries, be appy! ;) NOTES/TIPS: **Excellent service throughout. **Located in The District shopping plaza. Plenty of parking in the shared lot, but some walking or wheeling is necessary to get to the door. I have been a fan of the Echo & Rig industry for many years now. My first ten times trying the food was at the other location. I was mostly in love with the prime rib hash that they offered on the weekends for brunch. This time around I picked this location to dine with some friends. I was blown away by the design and decor of this building. Curb appeal means a lot for first impressions. The hostess was informative and friendly. We had a question in regard to the parking down the street. The question got answered and then we were seated. I started with a mocktail which is not on the drink menu and it is crafted by the bartender. A real surprise! I couldn't tell you what was in it, but it was delicious. Being allergic to dairy, I was worried about my dining options. I informed the waitress about my dairy allergy and she was very understanding and accommodating. I ordered the burger with no bun and a side order of the pineapple jalapeño jam. The meal was very enjoyable and fulfilling. Everyone at the table seemed to enjoy what they had ordered. I ended my meal with the sherbet trio dessert. The three different flavors seemed to complement each other. This night ended up being a success and a truly excellent dining experience! read more
