We are here when the power is out in most of Summit County. This restaurant has been open for like two weeks and the service and food has been amazing despite an insane influx of people I'm sure they weren't expecting. Eclectic was recommended to our group by Justin at HIgh Country Tours while on our tour. He said they had the best wings and all of the food was good. He wasnt lying. The buffalo flavored wings are one of the best we have ever had! I had the Smoked Prime sandwhich, it was delicious. My GF had the The Fun Hog sandwhich and she absoloutely loved it. The food not only taste great, but it is presented nicely as well. The portions are also big. The service was also excellent. Dropped by on our way to Grand Junction. It's a very small place. Most seating is outside. It took a long time to place both our drink and food orders and even longer to get anything. The marinated skirt steak was cold. I had one bite and was extremely disappointed. I did enjoy the chicharrones as an app. Food was overpriced. More than once our food and drinks were delivered to the wrong table. I would never come back here though. read more

Hey y'all I am back with another report on my culinary experiences! Tim and I just finished a long morning of kayaking (holy moly the water was chilly!) and were craving a filling mid day meal. Upon entering Eclectic Bar and Grill I can surely say the ambience lives up to the name! The inside of the restaurant gave a new IKEA designed vibe while the outside remained consistent to a grungy mountain vibe. Tim and I sat outside (umbrella up #tanon!) and participated in some cornhole games while we waited for our food. After an exhilarating game (winner winner chicken dinner)! we retreated to the table to find our sandwiches a waiting. I got the Fun Hog which was a rendition on a pulled pork sandwich. The bun was untoasted and the meat slightly bland, but the fries contained the perfect crispness which paired nicely with a well-proportioned cup of creamy ranch. Tim enjoyed his chicken sandwich accompanied by a fruity habanero strawberry salsa (he always leans on the fruity side). Overall, our server was nice, price decent, and food digestible. Really wish I could put 0 stars. We were very excited to try it out but it's a bust. The waitress had the absolute worst attitude, and couldn't handle a table of 10. I totally get it that your flustered because you're the only one working the bar and tables but you can't take it out on us. The food was was good hours later but I can't put a good review on being treated that way. I feel absolutely disgusted . On our way out she muttered "some people are just rude". We went to Eclectic Grill last night with friends and had an excellent experience! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive without being overly familiar. And a person who I'm assuming was the manager and/or owner brought our food and checked on us after we were finished eating. The food was SO good! My friend had the vegan ginger bowl and her husband had the burger. My hubby has the Poultry Pie. And I had the Fish 'n' Chips. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend any of these dishes. I had a really fun and tasty drink called the Summit Sour (I think that was the name) and loved it. I really hope this restaurant not only does well, but thrives, and becomes a go-to for locals and visitors alike. read more
