Eduardo and his team - Vince and Fernando - did a great job helping me clean out the crawl space, remove old insulation and soiled vapor barrier, replace some ducts that rodents had chewed through, and rodentproof. Rodent proofing my crawl was challenging because I have a section of the foundation that is below grade and without covering panels. I like that he was honest and told me not to immediately replace the vapor barrier and insulation . First make sure rodents aren't coming back, ensure the issues with dampness get solved, and fix the below grade foundation. After knowing the issues are solved, then they can come back and seal things up. I also appreciate that he stands by his commitment. A couple of weeks after they cleaned out the crawl, I heard something crawling in the walls. His team came back that week and spent a few hours checking all the corners to ensure the rodents couldn't come back. 3 months have gone by and they haven't come back yet. I'll definitely be contacting Eduardo after I fix the foundation and am ready to put insulation and vapor barrier back in. read more

I think the job is sufficient but I wouldn't work with this company again. Getting to a satisfactory result was frustrating for me, required my time & attention, there were delays, my contractor had to review and adjust the work, my house was in disarray as stuff waited to go into the attic. I hired Eco Attic Systems to upgrade the insulation in the attic and caulk the crawl space beneath my house. The attic work included lift the plywood floor, remove the degraded blow in insulation, install two vents, blow new insulation into the attic, replace the plywood floor. Monday Oct 3, 2022 8:15 am Frederico was driving the van into my parking space in front of my house and the van scratched my neighbor's car. Edwardo spoke with the neighbors and they made an insurance claim. My neighbors were frustrated and I felt badly. Five workers were on the job and it appeared that no one was in charge. I had to ask them to move their gear to accommodate my neighbors. At times I saw up to four of them on their cell phones while one person was working. I wouldn't care if the job went well. The job was not complete on Monday. Edwardo arrived late Monday afternoon. He and another worker had to return on Friday to complete caulking the crawl space. The zipper cover over the ladder was installed too high, making it awkward to enter & exit the attic, move stuff in & out of the attic, without bending and possibly damaging the cover. I would have preferred that they asked me what I wanted, or measured where to put the cover to accommodate the folding ladder. I asked my contractor to move it to be level to the floor in the attic. He pointed out places where the blow in insulation was too high and too low and missing. I sent many text messages etc to Edwardo. He was slow to reply. We set a date in mid-January for him to improve the attic insulation. It was raining so we agreed to cancel because he needs to keep his equipment dry. It took many text messages & voice messages to reschedule. He was slow to reply. We agreed to February 9, 2023. Edwardo told me he would come. I scheduled my contractor to come to talk with Edwardo to review what needed to be done and to confirm that the work was done sufficiently. Edwardo did not come. Two workers came. They acknowledged that the previous work was insufficient and needed completion. Neither was in charge. When they were finished I pointed out that the insulation should go all the way to the perimeter of the attic, where the walls meet the roof. He agreed and moved the insulation with a broom. I was unimpressed that I had to point that out. Additional caulking was required beneath the house. I texted Edwardo twice to talk about what I should write in this Yelp review. We had a terrible experience. Please beware that they give you a lower quote and jack up the price later. We hired them to replace our insulation in our attic. After they removed the insulation Eduardo increased the price by 20% before completing the job. If he had told us before he started the work, we wouldn't have allowed him to start work. He also promised that he will start BayRen rebate application process and he has been ghosting me since Nov 2022. I have called Euardo numerous times and he never responds. We hired Eduardo to remove blown-in insulation and install new insulation (batts) in our attic. We had multiple projects going on simultaneously and needed to remove the insulation before the electrical re-wiring, then we were having our roof torn off and replaced, *then* needed to have the new insulation installed. Eduardo and his team were fantastic! Our attic looked immaculate after the removal of the blown in, he was able to work around the other scheduled projects, even sometimes on very short notice, and then they came back to clean up all the roof debris that was left in the attic from the tear off and put down new insulation. I skimmed through some recent 5-star reviews, and based on my experience with the company, every single one is true. Eduardo and his crew are hands-down the best contractors I've worked with in a major house renovation project. Before I found these guys, I almost gave up on the project of insulating my attic, that has the top height of 4-5 feet, and is much lower in most areas. Eduardo said he would still like to take a look, and after arriving he said it won't be a problem and he'd done worse. He also agreed to do batts wherever possible per my request, instead of all blown-in which others had said would be the only option. He also offered me a couple of choices for material, which no other contractor did. I went with the more eco-friendly option and was very happy with it. The crew arrived on time, did the job quickly, and left the job site cleaner than they found it. They covered much more of the attic area with batts than I expected. What sets them apart from other good contractors is that Eduardo really went above and beyond, and in addition to addressing all my requests for his work, he also agreed to fix a few significant misses with work other insulation contractors had done for me, to make sure my house is truly done perfectly. He doesn't just stand behind his work, he cares about the final product. Did I mention that all of that was done for a very reasonable price, and Eduardo did the work next day, on a Saturday? When we purchased our home built in 1967, we knew that the duct work had asbestos, knowing the hazard we decided to get in touch with someone who could help, Eduardo came took a look at our ducts and gave us a bid, we decided to get this done thru him because he was good at explaining the process what was involved in the abatement and how the new duct work would turn out to be. Eduardo was able to come out within a few days to do an estimate and the prices were right in line with our budget. Just had our attic transformed by these guys. We had virtually nothing up there apparently and they cleared our the old R-13, cleaned it up, air gapped, ran some fan vents to the outside that were just venting to the attic, covered a couple gaps that could have been rodent ingress, and installed blown cellulose. This morning Carlos & Eduardo arrived to install insulation into our 1982 home. They went right to work placing drop cloths to protect the carpets and floors.
