Our AC stopped working the first time we turned it on this summer. The original installer came and diagnosed freon pipe leaking. Since the pipes were buried under concrete ground and there's no crawl space, their only fix was to run new pipes along the outside wall, which would've looked terrible and violated our HOA rules. I then reached out to six different companies for quotes. Out of them, Eco Comfort Cooling stood out. They were the only company willing to install the new freon pipes underground, just like the original layout. Beyond that, their quote was also the most competitive. Tito and his team were awesome. They approached the project with care and professionalism, installing the AC pipeline in a smart way. The work looked clean and great. But then--bad luck--the AC compressor wasn't working either. Tito jumped in, helped me call the distributor, and talked through the options. We decided to replace the whole unit. Again, he gave me a great price and did a fantastic job. Tito and his team did a great job installing our new Mitsubishi 4-zone mini-split heat pump system. They got a 'jump start' by arriving the Friday before the actual install to remove our 50-year old gas heater and close off the existing duct work. The crew arrived promptly on the following Monday morning and began carrying out their well-coordinated installation jobs. No one was standing around 'waiting for something to be done'. A certified electrician handled the 230Amp addition to the panel in our garage and emergency cut-off component next to the exterior heatpump unit. Two other guys worked quickly and efficiently to hang the three wall-mounted head units and complete the framing work inside the attic for the ceiling cassette in our kitchen/living room area during the first two days. A ceiling cassette was installed, line sets were run and finishing work on the electrical connectivity were completed over two subsequent days. Tito was available the whole time to answer any questions, provide guidance to the guys doing the install and for most of the last day, to bring the system online, doing all the final testing to make sure everything was configured and running according to specifications. And finally, Tito kept the total cost to exactly what he quoted us up front, even though we changed some of the components and labor requirements after installation began. Tito is an exceptional HVAC professional. He is an expert and a perfectionist, trustworthy, very responsive, and reasonable on pricing. Here are some details: To start - he is a true expert. He installs high end Trane and knows everything there is to know about the inner-works of any other brand. When it came to replacing my furnace - first he worked thoroughly to see if it is possible to salvage the old one within reason. So when he recommended to replace - I knew I could trust his recommendation. Then he evaluated a few models and configurations to identify the one that is right for our situation (living area, multiple zones, etc). Tito's pricing for the new furnace was very reasonable and competitive. And finally, the installation was quick and perfect. A year ago, I had a similar experience with an AC unit -Tito installed a new AC unit replacing an old one. It was done during the winter, so he came again (on his own initiative) in the spring to make sure everything is calibrated just right (apparently winter's low temp affects the initial amount of gas is in the system). I didn't ask for, and didn't remind him - he just remembered and came - making sure the AC is working perfectly. He made a couple of repairs, and calibrations to other elements in our systems - same experience: competent, responsive and timely, reasonable pricing. Update on my previous review. Initially I was a bit hesitant to remove my gas furnace and trust heating to the system that Tito had recommended. During this cold winter with temperatures going down to low 30s, the new fully electric heat pump based system is doing extremely well in this winter. I requested a new Furnace installation from ECO Comfort. When Tito came the 1st thing he said after looking at the Furnace, "your Furnace is only 9 years old it should at least run for another 10 years". He started electrical troubleshooting and determined the circuit Board was damaged. He guaranteed me that was the cause and if it wasn't, I would pay nothing. I was skeptical since 2 other companies had already told me it had no remedy. The unit was a Trane brand which ECO Comfort just happened to specialize that Brand. 4 Hours later Tito Texted me that the part was in stock and that he would install it today.
