Couldn't be happier about how Eco Movers handled our big move. We had a very tight timeline and the customer rep (Kayla!) went above & beyond to answer my questions and co-ordinate the 2 truck move. We used their Eco Boxes (highly recommended) & coordinating pickup/drop-off was a breeze. Boris, Glenn, Peter, Jorge and Nicholas were total pros on the day of the move. We had 2 locations & they coordinated the 2 trucks seamlessly. I was amazed with how quickly and carefully everything was moved. Extreme care was used for all our furniture & I never felt like shortcuts were taken, even with pieces that weren't as important. Pricing was exactly as quoted, and even with the 2 trucks it was very reasonable. I'd be shocked if another moving co provided better service. We used EcoMovers for the move back in June 2021. Pros: - they moved the right pieces of furniture - they prorated some time for getting lost out of the final severely overpriced bill - they did wrap tv and glass table into blankets Cons: - they hit neighbors tree and broke a branch with the moving truck - they sent 2 trucks even though I ensure them we only need 1. We left 80% of the furniture behind which I explained in advance. They did ensure me they won't charge for the second truck (which was empty, even first truck was only 2/3 full). The bill was not broken down per truck price so who knows... - the movers were smoking weed on the job (reported to us the next day by a trusted neighbor) - furniture got damaged to beyond repair. Since it was ikea furniture that we wanted to replace in upcoming months I didn't care as much but I wouldn't trust them with any expensive piece. - the bed was reassembled poorly, only some of the screws were used and half were omitted. No one explained this issue, we just saw extra bag of screws the next day... - we only moved across the town and the movers got 'lost'. I left the old house half hour after the movers and waited at the new house for almost an hour and they were still nowhere to be seen. Before leaving the old house they did give me heads up about traffic so I though ok maybe they hit bad traffic. But 1.5h delay for a 45 drive... After I gave them a call they explained one of the trucks got lost. The one with the furniture. Eventually the empty truck arrived late even though they were not lost and we were all waiting for the other truck to show up. Which it did 10 minutes later. If they went for lunch they could just say so... - when unloading the furniture and boxes into the new house I noticed they are bringing items that are for garage on the second floor and vice versa. I ended up standing inside the truck micromanaging and telling where each item should go since moving items up and down the house resulted in additional time spent and cost to us. Overall very stressful experience that I would not want to repeat. We went ahead with this company because our friends recommended it. But I guess the management needs to do a better job ensuring all their movers are fit for the job. read more

Eco Movers were horrible. The lining under our new and very expensive sofa was torn to shreds. It's a quality piece of furniture from Room and Board and less than three months old. There were way too many boxes that landed in the wrong places, like boxes in the kitchen marked office or family room or master bedroom (really, books and clothing in the kitchen), wardrobe cabinet shelves were broken even after I asked the move manager if I should take them out myself, and a generally lackadaisical pace at loading and unloading wound up costing us about 25% more than the estimate. Various bits of furniture were wracked and required effort to get them square again. Avoid Ecomovers if you like your stuff. So disappointed despite recommendations from friends. (I'm generally a positive reviewer.) I'm probably going to rent a carpet cleaning machine once we get our floors clear enough to cruise through with a wide, steamy thing. SO MUCH MUD on our new beige carpets. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. And there were a bunch of other small things not mentioned. Deeply bad. Avoid. read more

I thought choosing a popular & higher cost moving company would mean I get better service, but that was not the case. My 1 bedroom move to a place a 5 min drive away took almost 2 hours more than the 4 hour estimate, even with my boyfriend and I helping to unpack & asking them to not rebuild the bed since it had taken so long already. It felt like they were in no hurry to finish, especially when I beat them to the second location on my bike, and still had to wait another 30 mins for them to show up. And I now realize that my yoga mat was left in their truck. Do yourself a favour, save some money, and go with another company. read more

What I am presenting here is my firsthand experience with Eco Movers. I am leaving this one star review because of how they treated me, personally. I am recounting my experience of how they treated me after they hit my son's parked car. I am saying this as clearly as possible because Eco Movers keeps having my review taken down by saying I'm not presenting a firsthand account. An EcoMovers truck hit my son's parked car. Since there were eyewitnesses of them hitting the car (one who took pictures and emailed them to me), I thought the easiest way to resolve the issue would be for me to speak with EcoMovers directly. I called them on the morning of the incident. The person who I spoke with was very helpful, sorry, told me they also received the email and photo from the eyewitness, and promised me someone would be reaching out to me w/in the hour. No one called me back. I called again 2 hours later. The person who answered again was very friendly and apologetic and told me the person i needed to talk to was on another line and would call as soon as they finished up. No one called me back. I called again at the end of the day. The person who answered again apologized and promised I'd get a call back before closing or first thing the next day. No call back. It's been a week and I haven't bothered to call back and now the insurance companies can fight it out. So, I can't speak to how these guys are at moving your stuff, but I can tell you they are low character, sacks of s**t. Something they continue to demonstrate by having my review of how they treated me, personally, taken down. This is my 3rd attempt. Hopefully this one sticks. Unprepared, incompetent, impatient- three attributes that are an absolute NO for the movers to have. We hired Eco Movers on 05/27/22 to move exactly three blocks (2 minutes of driving time tops). They sent three crew members. We had four big, expensive items that were neatly wrapped in moving sheets and plastic wrap, which needed to be moved to the new place. One of the movers even said "Just four items?! And they are packed already?! Do you guys work for a moving company? This is easy". We had two additional heavy, expensive items at the new place- brand new washer and dryer. The new place had three floors and the washer and dryer needed to go on the top floor via stairs. I told them to take their take and there's no rush at all. We had booked a 4-hour block for the move. They charged us for a total of two hours- 45 minutes x 2 of driving time plus 30 minutes of actual moving, which is fair. We noticed that they damaged the brand new washer and now it has permanent deep scratches. It's worth 2.5k and has never completed a washing cycle other than QA testing while being built. They also somehow managed to damage our media console which was nicely packed. It has a deep scratch from the sharp box cutter they used to cut the plastic wrap and also has some dents. I don't know what's their criteria for hiring moving crew and what kind of equipment the company provides to the movers or if it's 'bring your own gear, we will give only the truck'. We have filed a claim and shared photos of the items they damaged. Hopefully, they will either replace the items or pay us what it costs to replace the damaged items. Hopefully, they own their mistake and not pull one of those "this is what our policy says or this what you signed or this is the insurance you chose". They ask you to sign and fill the forms during the move while the clock is ticking and you are being charged. Nobody has that kinda time and money to carefully read and sign during a stressful situation like moving. Hopefully, this gets resolved asap. Not looking forward to back and forth emails or hearing "we are waiting on the insurance company". read more

They did an awesome job, the movers were professional and very careful with my things, they worked very hard and were very pleasant and sweet. Our new apartment building offered free move via Eco Movers Moving Services. We didn't have that much furniture in our 1 Bedroom apartment, and though "Yeah, that wouldn't hurt if someone can carry our bed, sofa etc". I hadn't expected much from a free move service, I guess. After seeing the level of service, I can say I am amazed. John contacted me right away after the service request was sent (via our new apartment building). He explained the basic logistics and sent me an inquiry form. On the day of moving, Johann and his colleague came and handled everything with upmost professionalism and efficiency. They carefully wrapped everything, including our super big flat screen TV, and filled the truck in record time. Johann was continuously communicative: He asked, explained and offered solutions for a faster and safer handling of the items. When we got to the new place, they nicely asked where to put the packages, even if it was just a yoga mat. After setting everything up, they checked the final condition of the items before they leave. 1 hour after the completion of the service, I received a call for customer satisfaction survey. And it was an actual human being, not a bot. He asked how satisfied we were and if anything could be better. When it is time to move again, I will definitely contact Eco Movers! read more

I worked with the Tacoma branch of this company for my move. Boris, Reed and one other person handled my move. I was re-locating from one storage unit to a new storage unit with a different company. These guys were awesome. There were several unexpected mishaps but throughout it all they were patient and understanding. First we were planning to start at 10:15 am but the facility did not open until 11 am. Plus the gate code would not work until staff arrived late. I had never come across this and the website was not clear about this. Finally after packing up the truck and the movers left to meet me at the new storage unit; I turn the key and my car wouldn't start. I had to wait for a tow truck to take my car to the dealer before I could get a ride to the new unit to let the guys finish unpacking the truck. It wasn't until 3 pm that I could get to the new unit. The guys worked quickly and were done in 1 hour. I felt so bad to have tied up their day. As a kindness Boris even took off 1 hour from the time I had; they even asked about my car. These are the guys you want to have your back in a move. I plan to use them again the next time I need to move -they were so patient and understanding. They were even nice enough to pack my unit the way I asked. The last movers sort of stuck everything all over but I wanted my boxes where I could reach them and they even did that as I requested. Eco Movers Moving & Storage - They organized my storage unit! - Movers Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I have a bit of a mixed review. My move was this Friday 7/28, I was moving my things from a small 1 bed room apartment to a storage unit. I had everything packed, taped, and ready to go. The movers arrived and immediately insinuated that the move was going to take longer than 4 hours. I actually didn't think the move would take the whole time and was planning on 2.5 hours max because I don't have much furniture and my storage was only 15 min away. They loaded the first elevator full of things and when I came up to give them my key fob, one of the lovers said "look someone pushed every floor so now we have to go up and down every floor". The elevator was reserved for the move so it immediately became very clear that they were going to take their whole 4 hours if not more wether I liked it or not. I even called a friend to come help take apart the bed and take the TV Mount off the wall. He asked for movers to bring up the tools and they disappeared for a while, came back without requested tools. Mind you, at this point point all the furniture was already moved. The only thing that needed to be moved for the bed and the TV Mount. Then they realized that the elevator was broken all together so my things were stuck inside of it. We decided to take what we can and load up the storage with the items in the other elevator. My apartment complex said they would credit me the 1.5 hours of the movers rate while we waited for the elevator. However, the elevator technician told the manager of the apartment that it was in fact the movers, who broke the elevator by jamming one of the carts too hard into the door. A piece of the cart broke off and fell into the shaft. Therefore I wasn't getting my refund from the complex and was still charged by the movers who said the job took them 3 hours and 45 minutes! Keeping in my mind nothing was even being done for a portion of the time due to the elevator issue. Once the elevator was fixed, eco movers sent out a different crew to retrieve the stuff that was stuck in the elevator and take it to the storage. Thank God for Emmanuel and Anton! I was getting anxious at the though of the morning crew coming back due to their clearly unethical behavior. But the second crew was fast, professional, personable, and overall moved more things in 1 hour then the first crew claimed to take almost 4 hours to do. Since the elevator malfunction was found to be the movers fault, I had to file a claim with a photo of a piece of the cart that was found in the elevator along with the statement from my apartment manager. I hired Closetbox for a move who contracted EcoMovers to store and move my things. An entire box of things was SMASHED - like, not dropped and one thing cracked ... An entire box of platters and dishes were demolished (see pictures!). It was either thrown to the ground or dropped from a high height, because a normal kind of drop would not have broken every single item in the box. The box was labeled 'FRAGILE' and each of the items in the box was wrapped in foam wrapping. Closetbox said that because they did not pack the box, it was probably my fault for not packing it correctly. EcoMovers said that it was not their problem and that I had to go through Closetbox to submit a claim. In the end, Closetbox offered me $60 to replace over $300 worth of items (some of which are irreplaceable). Considering EcoMovers is the company that did the actual work, I would have expected them to make this right for me, but they really could care less. So many better options for moving companies out there who a) Do not break your items and b) if they break something they offer to replace it. I have moved serval times and have experienced both of these solutions from reputable companies. Bottom line, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - unless you plan to create a mosaic out of your dishes after you move. read more

This is the second time I've used Eco Movers and they've done a great job both times. The crew was on time, efficient, handled everything with care, helped pack up some boxes I had left unfinished, and even helped move a heavy piece of furniture a couple of times so I could get it in the right spot. I don't typically write negative reviews, but feel compelled after sharing my story with someone else and finding that she also had a terrible experience with this company. I will caveat this by saying a co-worker had personally referred me to Eco-movers as she had a positive experience - I can only share my own experience. The movers themselves were both friendly but it still irks me when it feels like I was financially burned on this move. I will never use Eco-movers again. Some background: I was moving from a one bedroom apartment in Seattle to another one bedroom in Seattle. I pack and pre-stage all my boxes and other than the sofa and bed, don't have large pieces of furniture. I have never paid more than $425 so when they quoted an estimate of $500, I thought for sure it would come in under. My final bill: $718.75 or +44% over the quoted price. Ouch. What happened? First, I received a call that they were on their way to be there by 8 - they were about 20 min late which is fine until you realize they are actually charging you from the time they place the phone call, not from when they arrive. Second - Even though I only had about 20 boxes they sent an enormous moving truck for a much bigger move. If you live in a Seattle neighborhood (and being that this is a local company they should know), you can imagine that there isn't a whole lot or space for that size of truck so the truck had to be moved in order to let cars around and that ended up taking time which cost me money. They aren't necessarily incentivized to stay within their quoted time, more time is more money for them. I was really surprised when they showed up with - and this is where I think it separates them from other moving companies I've used in the past. The reason I believe other moves I had were more efficient was that someone came to "survey" my apartment, furniture, boxes, parking area and send an appropriate size truck. Third - One box went missing - I was terrified I'd never see it again as it has family photos (I reported it, and luckily it was found and dropped off a few days later...but still it was an inconvenience). Fourth - another cost impact beyond the inflated final bill. A box of my dishes (each individually wrapped) had been dropped hard as literally every piece was shattered some items that were not replaceable. It even cracked a tea kettle that is quite durable. I had to take the time to itemize, submit claim form for the loss which was $120. Their response was that based on the coverage I had selected they were only obligated to cover $18 but would "go above and beyond" and send me a check for $50. At that point I just wanted to move on with my life and be done. After all was said and done, I felt like a chump having bought donuts and iced beverages for the movers. And there isn't really anything "eco" about the move so not sure why they emphasize that in their name. Save yourself the regret and frustration and use a different moving company. read more

I only needed to move ~1 block from apartment to apartment in Capitol Hill, but I had a lot of big/heavy furniture to move and wanted to get it done quickly without bothering my friends. Booking was easy and convenient online: Zayla helped set up the contract and adjusted the arrival time when I got an updated elevator reservation from my new apartment building. Sacha (sp?) and Derek [edit: Satch and Deryk according to other reviews] helped me move. They disassembled my furniture damage-free and packed everything onto the truck. They were patient as I chased people out of the designated un/loading parking space and quickly unpacked when it turned out the space wasn't big enough and they had to double park. We got everything up to my new place, and then Sacha reassembled my bed even better than I had initially assembled it: the anchors for the screws had been filled with glue or something at the factory (ordered online from Article: quality was good minus that), and he cleared it out so that my headboard no longer squeaks and moves. Took 5.75h to move my 1Bd apartment with major furniture being: bed, dresser, media console, large shelving unit, and sectional/chaise couch. Damage to flooring and a lot of scuff and scrape marks on walls all along stairwell of the house. Movers basically bumped against every interior wall along the stairs going up 3-story townhome. Also gouged holes into vinyl sheet flooring in laundry room trying to move in washer/dryer. Townhome is a brand new construction so all scrapes, scuffs, and gouges are very noticeable. Also some minor damage to one door frame and cabinet handle. Now have the hassle of going through claim process and get independent quotes for repairs. More work for me to have to do since Eco Movers will not just provide any level of monetary refund without an invoice. So more money out of my pocket first! This is a continuation from the nightmare I had with this company about three weeks ago now. Well on top of me having to pay 4,500$ to move less than 10 miles and the horrible service we received this company offered us 75$ for almost 1,000$ worth of our property missing! 75$!!!! We are still missing our children's Wireless headphones they use for their electronics around the house and in the car. Two sets of Beats headphones were stolen from us and a pair of brand new work boots. The headphones alone were over 600$ and my work boots 250$!! This company knows no lowes when it comes to sticking it to their customers. They offered us 75$ for items stolen from us during this move. Hired for a simple move - 4 pieces of furniture, a box of books and a large suitcase full of clothes. Crew arrived 3-1/2 hours late, logged start time 20 minutes before they actually arrived, and logged end time 1 hour after delivery completed. Said this was to cover their drive time from their previous job to my home. When I disputed this, one of the crew said I should have read the fine print and they would call the police if I refused to pay $400 to move a few items 11 miles. I requested bids from multiple highly-recommended movers, and Eco Movers is the only one that responded at all, and they got back almost immediately. It made the choice pretty simple off the bat. I did verify that their rates were commensurate with other companies in the area. The team showed up - Kelmit, Irwin and Ernesto - and they did a fantastic job, and were friendly and upbeat. They were moving me from Seattle to Bellingham, and they worked non-stop for six hours, which was a lot longer than anyone had expected to get my studio packed and loaded - but there were four flights of stairs and a weird little 1930's elevator. The original plan was to do the move all in one day, but because it had taken so long the manager asked if we could move the second half - drive to Bellingham and unload - until the next day, because he didn't want his guys getting home at 11 pm. They'd started working at 8:30am, and I really appreciated that the company would put the welfare of their employees first. Their health and safety was way more important than my move - this is the way the world should be but so often isn't. Everything was well packed, nothing was damaged. They showed up in a good mood again the next morning in Bellingham, reassembled the furniture, were careful with the floors. Their number was well below -- and I mean by 20% below- the next closest. Any concerns I had about low-cost was quickly dispelled when I met the team leader Boris. [update] I just got off the phone with Glenda and she tried really hard to make me happy. She offered to refund me a portion of my payment, and she agreed when I asked if I could get one hour of moving cost refunded. She agreed that the crew members weren't properly trained and they should have wrapped our furniture properly. She assured me that nobody is getting fired, and they're just getting a talk or maybe a bit more training. Glenda also arranged someone to come over to fix my wall and match the top paint of the wall. I believe my moving experience is an exception to their excellent service, and I really appreciate Glenda for fixing this situation. [original review] I just used their service yesterday, and I can't say I'm happy 100% because.. 1. From their office to my home is about 23-26 min based on google map. However, Glenda said she would give me a 1 hr flat rate. It's actually more than the estimated time, but I guess that's fine since they're driving a truck. 2. We originally got a quote for 4 hrs, but I called back to tell her that we only need help with large furniture. The estimated time was 2-2.5 hr according to what Glenda said. However, it took 4 hrs total (3 hr total with 1 hr commute). So that's almost $200 difference right there. 3. Unlike what they showed in the video, the guys actually carried my tables and whatnot without protection to their truck, then they put the blue blankets on them. It's funny because when they're moving them to the truck, they can still be scratched. Even funnier, they removed the blankets before they move my furniture back to my new home. It's like those blue blankets can only stay in the truck (with exception of the one blanket for my TV). 4. Instead of moving stuff, the guys were folding blankets nicely in the truck. I know it's probably included in the "moving service", but I just feel kinda annoyed. Maybe it's like their break or something, I'm not so sure. 5. When one of the guy carried my bed frame upstairs, he scratched my wall. He apologized and said he'll file a claim for me. It was scratched very deeply. Why? The bed frame has NOTHING around it and the steel frame is like exposed. what.. 6. It was 11 AM when they're done, but the guy took 8 minutes to write my claim form. It was VERY POORLY written, not to mention for possible solution or whatever, he wrote "send someone?" WOW.. Then he charged me time from 8:15-11:15 and 1 hr commute. Mind I tell you that they started moving my stuff at 8:30, and they are done at 11. He told me that he wants to save me money, so he moved everything fast and that's why he scratched my wall. Well, save me money? How about that 15 min that you wasted by writing a few sentences on the claim form..? I'm not kidding, but I can finish what he wrote in like 1-2 minutes. And 15 minutes is like what? $31.25 based on their rate. 7. I found many scratched on my stair railing, and the top paint at those spots was gone. They will just ignore if you didn't follow them or see it. So I say, be aware and ALWAYS follow them around to see if they messed anything up. They SHOULD HAVE wrap my stuff at least in the blue blankets when they move them upstairs/downstairs. I'm not sure if they're poorly trained or the company is just like that. 8. I overheard them talking to each other. One guy was wondering if I will filed the claim, and the other said he assume yes. okay, so just cuz I said I understand, you are gonna skip my claim form? Can't be anymore unprofessional than that.. 9. What's the point of asking the customer to rate you when you can see it right after? It's suppose to be anonymous and they aren't suppose to see it. The form was just stupid and I was forced to put 5 stars even tho I wasn't really happy. 10. I haven't heard anything from Glenda about the claim form. If they just send someone to put some putty on my wall I'm gonna be pissed. They better send someone to restore my wall. The guys actually worked hard, even tho I did see one of them checking their phone. I don't think that's professional, and maybe he's just checking the time. I suggest the company make them wearing watches to avoid that. In the end, I still gave them $40 tips because they worked hard. I don't think they're really professional, and the way of how they treated our furniture made me kinda annoyed. Our furniture is mostly from IKEA, so it's fine. I'm pretty sure I won't ask them to move my stuff if they're expensive. In the end, my tips are: 1. Make sure to greet them ASAP and make them start moving. 2. Make sure they bring A LOT OF blue blankets for your furniture, so they'll get scratched and the furniture will scratch your wall. 3. ALWAYS monitor them because if they scratch your stuff behind your back, they aren't gonna tell you. Lastly, I have to blame Yelp. I had a REALLY high expectation of their service, but I'm not HIGHLY disappointed. I believe there are better companies out there that's more professional. read more

I moved from a storage unit in Seattle to an apartment also in Seattle. Adrian and Jordan from eco movers were so great. They were efficient and communicative and made my moving experience so easy. I found eco movers to have the best hourly rate and also since their warehouse is located in Seattle it made the drive to and from cost super minimal. The only slight downside is that they give a fairly large estimated start time (I'm assuming this is only for afternoon moves) where my move could start between 12-4pm. However Jordan and Adrian communicated with me the day of to be able to give a more exact time as they were getting through the move they had in the morning. Eco movers was the most responsive and professional of the three companies I contacted. We had a complicated move, some local and the rest interstate. Kirk came out and did an evaluation, made us feel very confident that our move would go smoothly. They had great communication with the quote and up to the time for the local part, they showed up on time, professionally dressed and made quick work. The interstate move again showed up on time with a large crew and made quick work of it. They even, half way through brought in another crew, 9 total to get things loaded they even help with some of the last minute packing, great experience. I'm sure the delivery will be the same, Kirk has been in contact throughout the process making sure everything is great. Delivery was the same. We had two trucks bring our stuff and the two drivers help load the trucks in Seattle. They brought in a local crew to help unload and they placed things where we wanted and set up the beds etc. that they took down all very professional and quick. Best experience. read more

Got a 2 man crew for competitive pricing. They were on time, kind, efficient and thorough. Highly recommend for an affordable 1 bd or 2 bed move. Only 1 wine glass and the bottom of a flower pot broke. My only critique is that they were a little rough/fast and didn't sort the boxes according to the rooms as I labeled them.
