Enjoy this fabulous steakhouse contained within the Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas We decided to dine here prior to the Barry Manilow show in the main showroom (He was unbelievable but more on that in another review!!) First, lovely warm circular dining area with gracious greeting from the hosts and prompt seating into a half moon leather booth. Our waiter, Raymond greeted us immediately with freshly baked bread and took our cocktail order. We had about 2 hours till showtime and we advised him as such. No worries he said and we perused the broad menu for apps, their aged fine cuts of prime beef. We both ordered an app. My wife got a lovely chopped salad and I ordered a shrimp cocktail (prepared like no other way I've ever seen and presented..) dry ice under the shrimp dish which was bubbling ...totally cool!!! Steaks were Filets with sides of au gratin potatoes and creamed corn. Lovely!! Steaks were "sous vide" prepared and therefore finished off on the grill to perfection! Table side presentation if you wanted it... Wonderful experience with truly fine dining and service. We departed for the show, with plenty of time for a comfortable seating 5 rows, center. Edge has an eclectic and well curated wine list. The Cesar salad was fantastic. The vibe is chill and less pretentious than the big steak restaurants in town. We met up with our friend a native Las Vegan who recommended the Edge inside the Westgate Hotel. We had a group of 7 and were seated in a very nice room the "sky high wine cellar"( check it out on instagram) and there is only 1 table in the room for a large groups. Perfect we could hear each other. It was Restaurant Week while we were in Vegas and we and ordered from the special menu- which consisted of a salad, entree and dessert for $80, which was about 30 dollars less than ordering off the menu. For $25 more you could add 2 glasses of wine that were already chosen by the restaurant . 4 of us opted for a cocktail, the Vegas Dream. It is a sweet drink and one person in our party found it too sweet. Main ingredient champagne also hibiscus syrup and another ingredient.. But if like margaritas you'll probably appreciate this drink. I ordered a wedge salad- delicious. Steak and lobster tail- steak cooked just as I ordered, lobster tail with butter , excellent. For desert crème brûlée delivered with a flare . Crème Brûlée was lit at the table. You let the flame go out on its own, so you have a hard shell. Creamy and smooth, again a winner. Our waiter seemed a little impatient at times . One of the ladies in our group he asked her what she wanted for dessert crème brûlée or strawberry cake and repeated it 3 times not allowing her to look at the menu for description of the cake. A little disappointed as we missed out on a great discount. We had tickets to see Barry Manilow concert at the Westgate hotel and while at the venue bar sign said , the Edge offered 25% discount if you present your concert ticket. The next day we called the restaurant to confirm, but it had to be the same day as the show date. I always enjoy eating at Edge Steakhouse! From the popovers they bring at the start of the meal to the last course, it is a WONDERFUL experience. If you plan to go here, get a steak...it's a steakhouse! A Beautiful, Flavorful, and Truly Memorable Dining Experience! The Westgate Las Vegas Steakhouse was the highlight of our evening. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was stunning--elegant lighting, refined decor, and a breathtaking chandelier with long water-drop crystals that set the perfect mood for fine dining. The service was attentive and warm, and the food--simply extraordinary. We enjoyed yellowtail crudo, spicy shrimp, jumbo lump crab cake, edge salad, lobster, salmon, and baked chicken. The sides were a dream: creamy whipped potatoes, rich au gratin, and the decadent mac & cheese with truffles. Dessert was a highlight with velvety crème brûlée and luscious cheesecake. The generous pour of smooth tequila was a welcome surprise and a perfect ending to the night. Outstanding customer service! Everyone was working as a team and constantly checking on our table. As soon as we took a sip of our water, someone was there to refill. We were immediately greeted with some right out of the oven croissant like bread that was slightly stuffed with cheese and omg so yum! We ordered the Caesar salad, onion soup, wagyu top sirloin, Mary's chicken, truffle mac and cheese, and dessert. The wagyu was seasoned perfectly and has a nice char, it was delicious. Now, although they get an A for presentation, the chicken is probably one of the worse I had. It was tender and it looked pretty but it had absolutely zero flavor. In fact, I am not sure they even used salt. A great brine and seasoning would have set this chicken out of the top but as of now I wouldn't recommend. Now, the mac and cheese is on my top 3 favorite of all the time! It was it was creamy, cheesy, hot and fresh, and the truffle, just wow! The creme brûlée was the star of the show with a table side fire show to elevate the experience. Overall a 4 star experience due to the under-seasoned chicken, otherwise it would have been perfect. I think edge steak house is very good steak house. The service was excellent, the staff was extremely attentive. The restaurant was nice, clean but not super exciting. The food was good, I had a bone in dry aged new York, which was very good. The menu as a whole is pretty standard for a steak house. Really nothing unexpected. Overall is what you expect service and food quality when you dine at a higher end restaurant. The location is off the strip inside the Weatgate, so making the trip there for dinner took about 30 min. This is a place I would eat at again but wouldn't go out of my way specially for dinner here. I say that because I enjoy trying new places and generally will only hon back somewhere if the experience was so good that it calls for a return trip. We were looking for a high protein meal in the area that was no fuss and was told to try The Edge as they had great steak. I don't eat meat but my partner is quite a steak critic, and he gave it a try and said it was beautifully cooked and definitely one of the better steaks he's had. I had the octopus who was delicious and the Cobb salad which was truly amazing- the lettuce was so crisp! I couldn't get over it! We also tried the asparagus and mashed potatoes which were as you would expect from a steak house- large portions. We ended with the caramel/choco dome which was a masterpiece and truly delicious! The service was genuine- for a steakhouse we enjoyed that they were not stuffy and upselling- just kind and attentive. This gem of a steakhouse was not on my radar and we ventured here to meet a friend staying at the Westgate. The service was great and the food was delicious ! We started with crab cake appetizer and shrimp cocktail and seared scallop. Love the dry ice presentation of the shrimp and the crab cake was spot on ! The seared scallop was the best I have ever had. For dinner we had an order of Crispy Shrimp (appetizer) and NY Strip with Asparagus and mushrooms as our side dishes. The Australian Wagu NY Strip literally melted in your mouth - beyond words ! Side dishes were perfectly prepared & perfect accompaniment to our main dish. We were at Westgate for a concert and decided to eat on property. This steakhouse did not disappoint and the prices were as you might expect for steakhouse just off the strip - not crazy expensive but not super cheap. We got the ribeye cap for $115 and were not disappointed. The Caesar was solid and the complimentary bread they provide is incredible so don't pass on it. The only downer was the creme brulee. I'm a big fan of it and always try to order it. Unfortunately, they flambe it and you can definitely taste the 'gassy' odor that is left behind once it burns off. Otherwise, the rest of the meal was great and would definitely recommend it if you need a decent option before going to a concert in the hotel. read more

We've been going to Edge for several years now after we found this incredible hidden gem during CES which we exhibit at every year. It's conveniently located next to the convention center @ Westgate. The prices are high but so is the quality and service received. We just returned from Vegas and had yet another incredible & memorable experience. This time started with dinner at one of the booths in the dining room. Made reservations and all went perfectly smoothly on a Saturday night. This time around my husband and I shared the 7 ounce filet, the stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail & the asparagus. Everything was delicious!! The mushrooms are rich and stuffed with a creamy cheese. The cheesy/puffy bread and butter they bring out is also divine. Of course after dinner we had to stop by and see Mikey at the bar and have a cocktail before heading out to dance. What a great experience! Talk about rolling out of a restaurant! We were stuffed to the brim! Service first of all was amazing. Our waiter for sure went the extra mile in making sure our dining experience was its best. Double Date means double the tasting. The steak was cooked perfectly and was so simply seasoned. This establishment was amazing and worth every cent! Suggestion, book on Open Table for a reservation. This Steakhouse is located in Westgate Resort. Hostess was fabulous and sat us immediately. We were greeted by numerous staff members that all worked together and continued to help one another the entire night. The evening started with a warm pop over and right into a heirloom tomato salad for my husband and French onion soup for me. Oh my folks, these were scrumptious! The tomatoes were so fresh! The taste was exceptional. Next, here comes our medium cooked steaks. I will say they were PERFECTLY cook and that is a rarity. The steaks cut like butter with an amazing taste to them both. The side dishes are large and can be shared for sure. We had a Creme Brule and cheesecake for dessert. These were also amazing and perfectly prepared. Three stars with mixed feelings! My first visit to Edge Steakhouse was over the Super Bowl weekend to the historic Westgate Hotel! Westgate was the former Las Vegas Hilton, and the former International, and best known as the home to Elvis while performing in their theater. This is one of the easier Vegas steakhouse's to get to for the locals as it's a block or two off-Strip, plus free parking, and not overly large by Vegas hotel standards today. The steakhouse is beautiful when walking in and passing the lounge/bar area. Seated promptly due to having reservations, the interior seating area was just as nice! The immediate disappointment started as we were seated. We sat for nearly 15 minutes without being recognized by anyone! it became awkward when servers from other tables would pass by and look and notice that menus were closed, laying on the table, and not so much as a glass of water on the table! a major faux pas for a high end steakhouse!! Our server for the evening finally appeared, made a quick 3 second apology, and proceeded to start with the order. No charisma, no small talk to smooth out the immediate rough edges, just straight to the order! The food was on point, and exquisitely great! The charred octopus is a must for the appetizer! This is simply an outstanding dish! I would also recommend the "3 course pre-fixe" add on. For $30 you can add a salad, side, and dessert to any steak on the menu. The Caesar was outstanding, my 10oz Filet cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the creamed spinach was perhaps the best version of that dish I've ever experienced! Finishing off with the fiery crème brûlée brought table side as if it's being "announced" was the icing on the cake! Even after spending a few hundred dollars, and tipping the server appropriately despite his lack of enthusiasm, he was status quo with barely acknowledging us as we finished the evening! At this point I was amused by the lack of a professional "Vegas steakhouse" service in such an iconic hotel. I would be hard pressed to recommend it to anyone knowing the experience they would be hoping for. read more

For work I was staying at Westgate hotel for over a month. I have dinned at the Edge numerous times and each time it as outstanding. Steaks, seafood, and Vegetables.
