Love Gordon Ramsay Steak, great place for intimate dinners or business meetings. Came here for business and enjoyed the ambiance. Service was quick and on point, our server was amazing and she was great I forget her name but she was on it. The food was delicious and flavorful, the meatball and bread were perfect to start, and the main dish with the sides (fries and broccolini) were perfect. The only reason for 4 stars is that they were out of the cocktail I wanted which was odd, and the draft beers were out as well. Otherwise great dinner.

I went here with a coworker after a conference ended in Vegas. We both got the scallops and shared the butter bread. It was amazing!! I also ordered broccoli which was also good but just hard to cut. The service was excellent and I would love to return again!

We stopped by on a whim pretty late at night as we were hungry still and we got seated right away at their bar area which had a great ambiance We were given a variety of bread/rolls and butter for the table and then we shared a steak for 2(can't remember cut of meat) It was prepared well and tasted very good Obviously it's crazy expensive being a famous chefs restaurant and in Las Vegas I'm just glad we left satisfied

IMHO Gordon Ramsay Steak is located in the Paris Hotel Casino off the casino floor. You can't miss it due to its very tall sign that reaches to the blue sky ceiling and bright red "Chunnel" tube that leads you from "Paris to London!" The interior dining room had a dark amber glow to it, if that makes sense to you. On the ceiling was a depiction of something in the center of the Union Jack British flag. (I later asked our waiter what it represented and he said it was meant to look like how Gordon Ramsay creates his signature Beef Wellington. Really? Ok. I still didn't get it.) LOL Our waiter Corey and his assistant Sean were our very capable servers who provided excellent service throughout our meal. Corey rolled over a cart showcasing all the special cuts of meat they offered, and their history to help us decide what we could choose. This is an EXPENSIVE restaurant. Think high quality steak. Check out the menu online first so you won't be sticker shocked! :) Our party of five women, decided to share everything family style, instead of ordering 5 individual entrees. This helped in making it a slightly more reasonable check total. The chef sliced our two steaks into shareable pieces. Even then, we still had leftovers. Our Menu: Caesar salad, $23.99 Warm Breads and Spreads, $18.99 24-oz. Bone-in Ribeye, $139.99 American Wagyu Oscar Style, 9 oz. filet of ribeye, charred asparagus, king crab, bearnaise, $165.99 Broccolini, $20.99 Roasted Mushrooms, $20.99 French Fries, $20.99 Sticky Toffee Pudding, $18.99 My personal favorites were the American Wagyu Oscar filet of ribeye, the Caesar salad, French fries, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. The bone-in ribeye was a slight disappointment. In my opinion it lacked flavor and wasn't super tender, just okay. In contrast, the American Wagyu ribeye was melt-in-your-mouth, juicy, tender and full of flavor. I wasn't sure how I'd like the sticky toffee pudding, but it was a lovely surprise in a moist cake, on which Corey poured a warm toffee syrup over. It was presented to my sister with a lit birthday candle. Sharing the one sticky toffee pudding was a perfect ending for the 5 of us since we were stuffed from our dinner. Will I go back? I just might...

El Matador cocktail was excellent. Mango, Cointreau and Maestro dobel habanero infused Tequila

This is my second time here and both times I had a great night. The first time I had dinner and it was truly memorable. This time we sat by the bar and opted for some cocktails. GR Steak currently uses some of the most premium spirits. When I saw maestro dobel I knew I was ordering El Matador cocktail. I'm always a fan of tropical fruits and tequila based drinks and it was on point! It had a slightly sugar-based rim that balanced the tinge of habanero infused tequila. It was amazing! I also tried the Paloma's Corazon which is Flecha Azul tequila with basil and grapefruit syrup. This one was impossibly refreshing and had a tad of fizz that gave it a really nice mouthfeel. This one had a sugar tajin rim. Shoutout to the bartender for making these amazing drinks and the hostess for being so hospitable. The decor at GR Steak is almost seductive and intimate. It is busy and for good reason! Will come back.

I took myself on a solo dinner, which was a little out of my comfort zone. I'm so happy with the service I received from Victor my waiter. He was very nice and accommodating. I also had a chance to meet Corey the manager he explained a little bit about the restaurant, the famous chandelier and the famous beef Wellington.. Victor also suggested the beef Wellington, so that's what I went with and boy were they right? It was so delicious.. the service honestly was 10 out of 10 the food was 10 out of 10. I can't wait to go back.

The hubby's belated birthday dinner! The jalapeno mac n cheese was good! However, the farmers market salad I got was even better! It had a dark chocolate in it, which went very well with the grapes, pears, mandarin oranges, and endive in a creamy sweet dressing. As for the hubby's steak....he got the Trio of Beef that consisted of cap steak, NY strip, and Japanese A5 Wagyu....3oz of each. The mashed potatoes he got for a side were phenomenal! Yes, they should be at $20.99 a side....but my mashed potatoes never tasted this good. It was an enjoyable dinner! Yes, every so often we splurge at dinner!

Our family went here for my husband's birthday. The restaurant is so modern and cool looking. We really enjoyed the red light effects. Our family got to eat dinner upstairs, which I would recommend, as downstairs is extremely noisy and the seats are so close to one another. Our waiter started off pleasant and gave his long memorized speech about what was on the menu and we never saw him much after that. He did wish my husband a happy birthday. We ordered steaks and drinks for the evening and the food was outstanding. The wait staff was actually pretty disappointing. But the food carried the whole evening so that is why I will give this restaurant at four and not a five. Had the wait staff been more pleasant and offered my husband a birthday treat at the end of the meal I might've given this restaurant at five. The food was absolutely delicious. Steaks were excellent.

    Prefixed Menu, with Upgrade Options
    Michael V.

We ended up here after stumbling across a promotion for a prefixed menu at a steal of a price. It was a three course meal, including a wine pairing with each. I attached the menu, including the upgrade options, for reference. My selections: Appetizer - British Ale Onion Soup with Flowers Sonoma Coast (Pinot) - The flavor from the short rib really shone through, and the gruyere complimented it without being too rich * I enjoyed this more than expected Main - American Wagyu skirt with Leviathan Red (Cab) - I considered it closer to rare than medium rare, but the flavor was really good * My partner upgraded to the American Wagyu Rib Cap, and after having a bite, I would highly, highly recommend it Dessert - Sticky Toffee Pudding with Sandeman (Port) - it was warm and the consistency was so soft, as well the port matched the flavor without being too sweet (It was far better than we had it at Hell's Kitchen) Additions - Broccoli di Ciccio - We did not like the feta, especially with the dill - Modela Negra on tap is always a winner! Lomberto was great and the staff was very attentive, especially given that there were two large parties celebrating next to us. We appreciated the explanations and recommendations, as well as not minding some of the pictures. We definitely plan to return. I am still thinking about that rib cap.

I celebrated my birthday this past weekend at Gordon Ramsay Steak in Paris, Las Vegas and the vibe was incredible from the moment we arrived! The Ambience and Vibe Entering through the channel tube feels like a cool portal connecting France to the UK, sets the tone perfectly. The restaurant has a seductive "sexy" atmosphere with a dim red glow throughout. The massive British flag on the ceiling really completes the mood, making it feel upscale yet high energy. Attentive Service: The service was very attentive throughout the night. They even went above and beyond by upgrading my wine pairing (which was part of our Groupon deal) to a delicious dessert wine specifically to pair with the English Toffee Pudding. It was such a thoughtful touch for my birthday celebration! Menu and Cost: We used two 3 course Groupon deals at $106 each but decided to treat ourselves with some upgrades: The Steaks: We went for the Ribeye Cap (+$30) and the 18 oz Bone in New York Strip (+$20). Both were cooked well. Between the two, if you're looking for more marbelized fat and flavor, definitely try the ribeye cap. The Sides: We added the Roasted Mushrooms ($22) and the Lobster Mac & Cheese ($65). Note for future diners that the Lobster Mac was a $65 add on! The Dessert: The English Sticky Toffee Pudding was the star of the night. The warm glaze is literal perfection and the ice cream was so flawlessly frozen it looked like a bar of butter but tasted like heaven. The only con was the final cost technicality. While the Groupon includes base gratuity, adding sides and steak upgrades triggered a significant amount of extra sales tax and gratuity. These add ons increased our bill by an additional $190 on top of the $212 we already spent on the Groupons. The Verdict: I would definitely try the English Sticky Toffee Pudding with ice cream but I would not do any add ons unless you have plenty of room in your budget for it. Overall 3.5 stars for a vibrant and memorable birthday spot!

This was my best meal in vegas! I bought the Groupon for the tasting menu. The portions were generous and the food high quality. The wine pairings complimented the meal very well. I read an article that featured the dessert as a top dessert in vegas and I can now see why. I saw the high yelp rating and thus was sold. Would love to try another Gordon Ramsay place!

Upscale steakhouse as expected from a Las Vegas resort and a Gordon Ramsay establishment. Good selection of premium steaks and wines. Ambiance was nice and the food was good but a little overpriced as you would expect from a restaurant on the strip. Service was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive which we appreciated given how busy it was. It's a nice place for a date night. The rest of the menu was also good and the sticky toffee pudding is a must try. Overall good experience. Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Total: 4.25/5 Price: $$$ Rating Criteria: 1/5: Terrible, would not recommend 2/5: Might be worth it depending on price and other factors. 3/5: Solid option. Average in this category for the area. 4/5: Above average and excels in this area. 5/5: Excellent, needs no improvement Pricing Criteria: $: $0 - $50 per person $$: $50 - $100 per person $$$: $100 - $200 per person $$$$: $200 - $500 per person $$$$$: $500+ per person *Please keep in mind that reviews are based on personal experience which may differ from person to person based upon a multitude of factors (individual/specific workers, time of day, personal preferences, etc). Pricing may also differ and is reflected here based on what we paid for our meal. We usually enjoy multiple courses with our meals including appetizers, salads, entrees, desserts, and sometimes drinks or tasting menus when available. Please do your own research if concerned about potential pricing.*

If I could rate this a 10 I would!! Amazing, amazing, amazing!! We sat on the bar side but if did not affect the service at all!!! Our waitress was personable and knowledgeable of the menu and made some amazing recommendations. There's low lighting so it's perfect for a date night if you wanted to do that. The food was so great! I tried my first oyster shooter and wasn't ready! I won't have another one but at least I can say I had the experience. Food is worth the price. The drinks were also very tasty. Definitely a dinner experience.

Ask the Community - Gordon Ramsay Steak

    Is there non-alcoholic wine options?

Definitely, and a decent selection also !

For the gents: Sports jacket, dress shirt & jeans ok or recommend slacks worn?

My dad went in jeans and a semi nice dress shirt with regular sneakers. There's no dress code unless you're going out of your way to be fancy

If I order the tasting menu does everyone at the table also need to order the tasting menu or can they have their own entree of choice?

Not everyone has to order the tasting menu as anyone can order their own entree of choice.

Does anyone know if this restaurant takes Ceasars rewards credit?

    They absolutely do!!

    If there outdoor dining?

There is not outdoor dining. This is tucked away at the back of the Paris casino and doesn't have outdoor access.

Do you not take online RSVP? Do we need to call the restaurant for reservations?

You simply book online via open table. If it doesn't show for the day your looking for either check with your casino host for a booking or call the restaurant.

Is Trenton Garvey, winner of Hell's Kitchen season 20 still head chef? More importantly who is the current head chef?

    Yes I believe so.

I've had bariatric surgery and I know I wont be able to finish my meal in one sitting. Are take home boxes available or do I have to leave behind whatever I cant eat?

When I was there in Jan of 22, they had to go containers.

Are you allowed to bring your own bottle of wine? And if so how much is the corkage fee? Thanks. ***EDIT: I ate at here on 07/01/22. YES, you can take your own wine, but it…

    No!!!

We just want to come in for dessert. Is there a lounge or bar we can sit at that will let us order the dessert?

There is a bar, and if you make a reservation you could probably even have dessert at a regular table. I'd suggest a reservation in any event (well in advance) and just ask to be seated at the bar if you like.

How much is it to add a side of scallops to a steak order?

For 2 scallops we were charged $18.

For groups (i.e. at least 6 people), is it possible to split the bill separately or would everything be on one bill?

    Yes!

How far in advance would I need a reservation for 2 for Valentines day 2022? It's our first anniversary and we'd love to spend it there!

Like now! It might be too late but give it a try. I made mine on Open table but you can alway call them too. Congratulations!

We have reservations at the end of the month can we bring in a birthday cake?

Yes, just let them know and it is no problem to do that.

Can you ask for separate checks?

We did, although they didn't seem very happy to do it.

    Do they Allow small pet?

Good morning, We do allow service pets in a separate area of the restaurant.…

Does this restaurant have outdoor seating?

    No.

    Are walk ins welcome?

    No. Reservations will be required.

I want to order the tasting menu, but my partner doesn't like those foods. Am I allowed to order the tasting menu for myself and then he can get whatever entrée he wants separately? Or does everyone have to get the tasting menu?

You can order the tasting menu separately. I had the tasting menu my husband had his own entree.

Do they serve non alcoholic drinks?

Yep! My 10 year old and I went there

Once I stepped foot inside and saw a completely packed house with an hour and a half wait and barely standing room at the bar, I knew it was worth whatever wait or process I had to go through. Ultimately I lucked out as an individual. I was able to snag a bar top seat pretty quickly and had I known then I was sitting down to what was going to be one of the best meals of my life, I would have been visibly more excited. Not only was the service absolutely top notch, the people and the regulars there were extremely friendly and outgoing. The vibe was perfect, a strange mix of a place that felt like it had been there for 200 years yet was somehow high energy and vibey. From a killer cocktail recommendation to one of the best steaks I've had in my life and coming from Oklahoma City, where I work a mile away from the stockyards and can get great quality fresh beef six ways from Sunday, that's saying a lot. I usually despise most things truffle but if I was forced to eat that truffle mac and cheese every day for the rest of my life I would consider it a life well lived. While I would have never ordered it on my own, a customer next to me recommended the porn star cocktail and I have to say it was also one of the most delicious things I've ever had in my life. Ten out of ten, top notch experience. Would recommend. Will be back every time I'm in Vegas, no questions asked.

What was really disappointing was the service specifically from the waiter. He was quite condescending and rude to a number of the people at the table. He completely screwed up the orders and two people had to wait an additional 10 minutes to get their meal. If you want a good steak dinner in Las Vegas, go to Peter Lugers in Caesars. A much better experience with much better food, without the attitude from the waiter!

The Steer became our favorite place to return to. We've tried the bone in ribeye a few times, the lobster, the filet, salmon, sea bass, and I believe the NY strip. I got the white fish one time because I wanted mixed veggies and they didn't have them as a separate side dish. I'm obsessed with the twice baked potatoes and hubby gets the broccoli without cheese, we typically share mushrooms and I've tried the Caesar a few times. My most recent visit was on July 1st to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. Our reservation was for 9:45 pm which made me nervous. Somehow the staff here can tolerate these late nights. They did not rush us and I felt like it was 8 pm and not after 10. I love how they always have a fun story about times long gone. This time we sat at Joe DiMaggio's second booth. He's the only star with 2 booths. You can look online for the story behind that. We've had the pleasure to engage with their sommelier several times. He always suggests something nice and we try a new wine. One time it was Silver Oak and on Wednesday it was a 2009 from Macaulay Vineyards. I made another reservation already because Golden Steer is in high demand. I believe we will come back for years to come.

Kimmy and Xavier took great care of us throughout the evening. We saw Xavier most often, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. He also made our anniversary extra special by surprising us with a complimentary chocolate mousse cake topped with whipped cream and a glass of sparkling wine, which was a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated. The standout of the meal was, without a doubt, the seafood tower. It was absolutely worth ordering. The generous portions of crab, lobster, and shrimp made it feel like a great value, especially since the crab was already out of the shell and the lobster was perfectly prepared and ready to enjoy. We also loved the mango and raspberry sorbets for dessert--they were incredibly fresh and packed with flavor. We brought our own bottle of wine and paid the $50 corkage fee. I also ordered the Black Cherry Margarita, which was delicious, while my husband enjoyed a glass of the Domaine Laroche Chablis. Unfortunately, the steak was just okay. We ordered it medium-rare, but it came out a bit overcooked. The wedge salad and French fries were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. We expected to spend around $500 for dinner, so the price itself wasn't the issue. We were simply hoping the quality would better match the cost. While we enjoyed parts of the meal--especially the seafood tower, desserts, and the wonderful service from Xavier and Kimmy--we left feeling that the overall dining experience didn't quite justify the price tag.

Be prepared for a wait even if you reserve a table, this place is very popular. The service and staff is very kind and quick tho, they are very knowledgeable on everything on the menu as well. The most important part tho is the food, it was exquisite. I saw someone order the hanging tomahawk too and I tried not to drool. Don't worry they will serve you some really good bread while you wait. I can't wait to go back here and get the hanging tomahawk. That vision and smell of it lives rent free in my head ‍

I was actually able to make sure he'd come and even get him to dress up a bit by telling him we were going to a special Yelp Elite event...and it worked! Lol! The atmosphere, style, vibe, service, and even the bathrooms are all worth mentioning. I ordered the Tennessee Sidecar, and it was easy to drink. My favorite cocktail is a classic Sidecar, so I really enjoyed this twist on it. My husband and I shared the Tomahawk for Two. The menu didn't mention that it came with any sides, but it was served with cooked carrots and asparagus in the same pan as the steak. Since we didn't know that ahead of time, we also ordered the whipped potatoes and broccolini. The presentation was beautiful, but unfortunately the tomahawk lacked flavor. My husband and I both ended up adding salt to our steaks, and that's honestly never happened to us at any steakhouse before. The steak itself, however, was cooked perfectly. The carrots, asparagus, and broccolini were all decent, but they also needed a bit of seasoning in our opinion. The standout side for us was definitely the whipped potatoes. Those were delicious! One dish that really caught our attention at the table was the Surf & Turf. It was served with melted butter in a small bowl that sat over an enclosed flame, which made for a really nice presentation. I included a video. As for dessert, I have to admit my husband and I were disappointed. After seeing photos from other reviews that mentioned getting a large slice of rich chocolate cake, I was expecting my husband to receive a nice slice of their chocolate cake for his birthday, too. Instead, he was brought what they called a "Green Velvet Cake," which tasted like a cheesecake-cake hybrid. I'm sorry, but it was very underwhelming. It honestly made me think it was a cake idea from St. Patrick's Day. Not only did it look unappealing to us, but all of that bright green food coloring wasn't exactly appetizing either. We also expected there to be at least one birthday candle, but there wasn't. My husband ended up sticking a toothpick into the cake and pretended it was a candle, which at least gave us a good laugh. I'm also hoping that "birthday dessert" wasn't something we were charged for. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I even loved the bathrooms. Each restroom has its own private sink inside, which was thoughtful and that I really appreciated. (Photos included!) That said, the food my husband and I ordered simply didn't live up to our expectations, especially for a steakhouse at this price point. Because of that, we probably wouldn't choose Smith & Wollensky again for celebrating a family birthday. If we did return, we'd definitely be ordering something different.

Drinks: FINE, YOU?: It's an Old Fashioned and it was delicious. PIPER'S CHOICE: My wife likes her Espresso Martini creamy and a little bit on the sweeter side. This has more of a stiffer espresso forward taste which kinda put her off. Apps: CRISPY CHICKEN SKINS: Fried chicken skin with honey dip? Who knew that would work!? My wife and I loved it. "DEVIL'S" EGG: First time trying caviar and I think it pairs pretty well. BACON BURGER: My daughter finished it I'd say she like it! Main Course: BACON BURGER: My daughter got this and it was a thumbs up. No notes. COCOA-ESPRESSO NY STRIP: Nice sear crust with a perfect medium-rare. Great flavor with no burnt after-taste from the crust. SHORT RIB STEAK: The meat itself is very tender but with the pepperoncini it got my head scratching . When I think of pepperoncini I'm thinking of Italian subs or pizza? Does it work? I guess? They put the check inside a softcover novel which is pretty cool. In the pages were notes/comment from patrons. Could't help myself and got in on the fun!

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.
