Worst service as it gets, first off they can't replace a transmission to save their life and second off can't communicate that they are unable to do it. They will take your old transmission, sell it and then put a "new one" in and then tell you that they are having some issues programming it. Absolutely loved working with the men at Edward's Transmission. I dropped my car off Monday in serious need of repair. The mechanics got right to work diagnosing my problem (2 very dangerous wheel barrings) and fixed it by the end of the day Tuesday. Not only did they fix the wheelbarrings, I expressed concern for other systems in my car and they were able to solve those issues too as well as teach and inform me of what may have caused the issue in the first place. As a side note, I had a left blinker light out as well and didn't mention it to the guys and now it works! Big fan of this auto shop. They charged a completely reasonable total for the amount of work done. I would highly recommend!!! read more

I would never take anything to them, or recommend my worst enemy to take their vehicle there. I took my transmission in to get rebuilt after i got it back and put it in my truck. It didn't last a week. I took it back to them they sent the transmission off again and they called me and told me my transmission was ready to be picked up. When I got there It was in pieces in a box and told me that I installed it wrong. That it was my fault it failed, and they weren't going to do anything unless I paid them more money. I took the transmission to another transmission builder, and he told me that they were full of crap and it was100% their fault. This is just a company that will screw you over. I'm surprised they are still in buisness. Especially after reading some of the other reviews people have left. read more

OK you have to pay 100 bucks for them to look at it that is basically hooking a computer up and checking your transmission fluid. And then you have to pay another 500 bucks for them to tell you watch wrong with it and give you an estimate. But the good thing is all this money goes towards your big bill. Bunch of crap. Chris the owner quoted me 300 to put a sensor on my truck. After being rescheduled twice I was finally scheduled for Monday. When I arrived Chris told me the labor price was now 900 dollars I told him he quoted me 300. He didn't care and walked away. This is very dishonest and unethical. After reading the reviews I'm glad they didn't do the work. Ford is 400 less than edwards. Beware of edwards before you are scammed. read more

I dropped my truck off two days ago for a repair. My truck sat in the exact same spot for 48 hours untouched, no courtesy call, no nothing. I went to inquire about it and I waited 10 minutes at the front desk before someone realized that a customer was waiting. I noticed that the green car that was being worked on when I first dropped off my truck was still in the garage being serviced. I became so frustrated that I just asked for my keys back and opted to just work on it myself. Very poor customer service experience. Two days were wasted with nothing to show for it. read more

Brought my truck here after being told the job would take 3-4 hours at 100 dollars an hour, after not contacting me for almost a week I finally got a call saying it was going to cost 879.00 dollars... Just in labor. I refused service as this was far off the price that originally brought me to edwards. After calling around all the shops surrounding them were willing to do the job at or around edwards original quote. I brought it to a different shop and it was done in 3 days for 500 bucks. Edwards also charged me 75 dollars for a 2.5 mile tow. read more

These people play games! I wouldn't trust a word that comes out of their mouths. My boyfriend had his vehicle worked on there and they never fixed the issue. He came out of pocket more than $800.00 and the vehicle issue he came for was never resolved. He brought his vehicle in twice, and both times he had to come back because them saying they "fixed" problem caused another one. read more

I'll NEVER take another vehicle to this location again. It all states well and good. Then took a turn for the worse really fast. My engine went out on my vehicle and I called Edward's Transmission. They informed that they had skilled mechanics that will make sure they took good care of my Vehicle. I decided to have them come get my vehicle to begins work on it. They arrived and placed my vehicle on dollies to tow it to their garage. I didn't hear back from them for a week after they had my car when I called them To find out what was going on. They then told me what the Issue was and we began to discuss what her the next course of action would be. I decided to let them do the work. They told me the part would be in in about a week. I said ok. Hung up the phone. A week goes by and I hear nothing from them. I give it a few days after and still noting. I then call them only to find out that they haven't even ordered the part. They then informed me that they would order that day. And it should take yet another week. That week went by, and I still heard nothing. I call them AGAIN and they I form me that they have the part and they will began working on it. Two or so more weeks go by and I hear nothing. So I decide to just go up there. (Thinking maybe it's done). I arrive and see my car sitting IN A DIFFERENT SPOT then I left it, so I assumed it was done. I go in talk to the person at the front desk and they inform me that haven't even touched it. I asked why and they told me "we GOT backed up" I'm thinking my car should have been in the that "back up" right? Anyway. They finally get my car "done" and provide me with a warranty. A 12 thousand mile one year warranty. Long story short the "repair" failed before the warranty was up or the 12,000 miles. They did not honor the warranty. Instead they gave some lame excuse as to why they wouldn't honor it but would "repair" it again..... scammers, crooks unskilled backyard mechanics working to rip you off. Well starting to think I made a bad choice in transmission shop. They did a good job on transmission about 15 years ago for me. But took car in to get transmission and clutch fixed. They over promised on how long it would take. First is we will have it out on Friday. Dropped it off on Wednesday morning . The test drove and called on Wednesday afternoon to to tell me yep the transmission is making a noise and they would have to pull transmission. Tell me something I didn't already know. Friday I had to call to get update which was they found the problem and working on getting parts. Monday I had to call to get another update as they said 1 day in rebuild shop and 1 day to reinstall. Said still waiting on part but should have it down by Tuesday afternoon. Had to call tuesday and still waiting but should be done my wednesday. Yep you guessed it I had to call again on Wednesdays and thursday to get update. No suppose to be Friday morning. I realize that part supply is out of their hands. But at least provide customer service and provide updates So while apart I said you might as well put new clutch with it out. Charging over 700 for clutch. A 300 dollar part that takes 30 minutes to install with transmission out. But not a lot you can do because you can drive off without the transmission. Hopefully they we exceed my expectation when I get the car back read more

Truck broke down while traveling through(I'm not local), with obvious knocking and internal damage to the engine. Called these guys, they told me they'd pull the oil pan and take a look, thought there was a good chance I could get away with a rebuild. They towed my truck, held it for four days while waiting for their "diagnostic", only to be quoted $6k for a new engine(fair price, but not affordable for me). I declined and had my local mechanic come down and tow it away. Come to find out, I have a $400 bill (after clearing up their first bill for $600 counting a tow back to the side of the road where they picked it up) from these guys, and THE PAN WAS NEVER PULLED! I WAS CHARGED FOR SERVICES NOT RECEIVED! There was never a bolt turned underneath the hood, absolutely nothing was done over those four days. Receipt says "customer states engine is knocking", and their diagnostic says "engine is knocking, won't start, has internal damage". They tried to tell me the block had a cracked rear deck(there is no such thing). MIKE IS A LIAR AND A CROOK! STEER CLEAR! read more

do not i repeat do not ever take your car to this business. there is not one positive review or complaint on bbb website about them. the gm michael walters and manager spencer jeffers are very dishonest and will attempt to make repairs on a car they do not know how to fix. they take advantage of women especially and will lie about the repairs done and the condition of the car. they repeatedly gave my car back to me in the same exact condition i brought it to them in. my car read transmission codes when they gave it back to me and they told me that doesn't mean anything! but a car is not going to read any error codes if there wasn't an underlying problem! they instead continued to lie and make up excuses about my car because they was unsure how to fix the transmission. they told me each time the transmission was perfect and they couldn't find an issue during the test drives. the issue does not need to be replicated by them to know what is wrong to fix, if they knew what they were doing! i brought them my car several times since initial repair and i still have slippage during acceleration. the engine speeds up, but the car does not respond and i showed them several videos of this happening! now transmission need to be completely rebuilt or replaced because of their faulty work which i paid them over $3,000 to do. when i filed a complaint on the bbb for a refund they stated many of lies that prompted me to act even more against them. i since put in several complaints to various government agencies, getting ready for local news coverage over the situation and suing them. i met many of people that had similar issues with this business and i'm reaching out to anyone else that ever experience issues with this business to contact me at rolo3456@gmail.com to learn what actions you can take against this business. read more

Black haired man with glasses is high strung and mean, treated my daughter like she was stupid for asking to get an ballpark estimate to replace her transmission. He was so mad he told her "good luck" finding someone who can give you an estimate, and you owe us $85 dollars for that tow. He is so unprofessional. And guess what mean man, she did get an estimate and the car is repaired and running just fine. She bought that car when she was in high school and will likely get another 3-4 years of use out of it. Edwards you should not have people like him working for you, and I'm just wondering if this man is ED himself. Your business sucks, how can you have 1 star at all of your locations.
